Rants @ work..

Ok.. today is really a very rantful day at work.. Lots of stuff to rant abt.. so ya.. so this post is gonna be a bit "loud".. so ya.. be warned!

Anyway, this morning I went to work, and as usual, once a new schedule for the work week is out, I wld be super busy, and spend the next 2-3 hrs sitting on a table and do the necessary paperwork..

So tats wat I do.. and do until like 1005 hrs, then I am like, "ok.. I need to go eat my breakfast by having my teabreak".. so I saw my senior operator like so free.. can joke with the others also.. then I ask him to do for come out the material requisition sheet, and guess wat.. he answered me the following in Mandarin:
"Why you can't do it yourself? I dun koe how to count! You come back from tea then come yourself lahx"..
I was then super mad and felt like quarrelling with him lahx.. it is like tats wat he did the other time even before I joined the company, and he got the cheek to tell me he dun koe how to count.. who is he trying to kid?

I wanted to tell my boss abt this matter, but then I decide not to, becos I dun koe whether my boss will reprimand my senior operator and accidentally leak out my name tat I'm speaking bad abt him to my boss.. so ya.. I shall see lahx.. If I really cannot tolerate, I wld juz tell lahx..

Then tat stupid old man operator kept pestering me whether he can go off at 1600 hrs becos he got something on.. Its always without fail tat he every Fri at 1600 hrs, will leave early.. and you tell me lahx.. Every Fri leh.. how am I going to answer some of my younger workers? They already told and hinted to me how come every Fri I always like this old man go off at 1600 hrs at the slightest excuse of "I got something on"..

So today tat old man approached me and ask me whether he can be let off early.. I asked him why, and he again told me he got something on.. He told me he got some electrical course at ITE in bukit merah, which of course, I was filled with much suspicion tat he is making up a story..

Then I heard from my operators tat he suddenly was very slow in his work (like purposely do slowly) and complaining to ppl tat I dun let him go off early on Fri..

FYI, I didnt say anything abt not letting him go.. I juz told him I will tell him a reply tml.. but then tat stupid old man juz assumed everything and said I didnt let him.. so ya.. so since he assumed tat I didnt want to let him go, I shall not!.. Let's juz see how his attitude changes tml..

I cannot spoil such a operator like tat.. if not, he will take advantage tat everytime he will get his way.. so ya.. I have given in too much liaox.. so ya..

Then today, my China workers ranted to me abt one of my other process operator.. I have told wat they told me to my boss.. and I told my boss to have a good chat with this process operator, becos he is like beyond hope liaox.. haix..

Then proceeded over to Funan Challenger to get my Hollywood FX of Pinnacle Studios fixed.. The service technician was indeed very helpful and I'm so impressed with their service.. He said tat he wld find the software for me, until it successfully installs in the computer.. but after one try on a new set, it didnt work as well and the same problem occurs.. So ya.. So he suggested tat he needs to test it for me, and then he wld get back to me by this coming Monday or sumthing.. so ya.. so I shall wait for my call lahx.. =).. But the service is indeed very good lahx.. Too good to say good liaox!

Then came home, bought bread @ Breadtalk for breakfast tml at office, then came home.. had dinner.. bathe and now blog this post loh, and at the same time, tok to Sidney (my bro in camp) and Ivan (a previous RP who is attached to my airbase for a while).. Saw Ivan @ Funan, but didnt call him, becos I was in a lift, whilst he was not lahx.. so ya.. So when I see him online, I tok to him, and currently, I'm toking to both.. so ya..

The mid-wk is over!

Hi ppl.. Well.. Pinnacle Studios looks impressive and it is by a matter a fact, but the installation is like a killer lahx.. I took abt 4 hrs to install the whole software! Yes! 4 hours!!

Have yet to try the program yet.. will do so tonite.. and if I'm versatile and familiar with the software, I wld revamp my other videos (which are already done by Windows Movie Maker) lahx.. but tat is if I have the time and familiar with the software..

Other than that, nothing else interesting happened at work..

A working day..

Today's work day is ok.. nothing much.. except tat I got called up from my boss to see my big boss, as one of my staff (tat old man lahx) is caught by my big boss for doing something serious.. so ya.. This old man keep give me problems.. I think when he leave the company, we wld all be happy.. ha.. juz hope tat he gets out of the company soon.. Oh btw, he was issued a warning letter by my big boss.. so ya.. so dun koe how abt this affect his chances.. so ya..

Other than tat, nothing else interesting happen today lahx..

Got to run liaox.. have to do my usual stuff.. worship and publicity..

**PS: Oh.. I'm installing my Pinnacle tonite in my com.. wonder wat wonders the software can offer.. we shall see.. hmmm..

The 'pig out' Sunday!

Well yes! I've pig out yesterday and I've gained a kilogram.. and for this, I'm totally histarical abt it lahx.. sianx..

Had an al-la carte chinese buffet with my family at Pearl River Palace Restaurant @ Suntec.. Compliments from my parents.. so ya.. it was my birthday treat lahx =)

The food was of course fabulous tats why I pigged out mahx.. hahax..

Before the dinner, it was my church camp mtg, and I muz its an enjoyable one.. so ya.. and I got outrageous ideas for publicity liaox.. and its like approved by everyone in the committee.. so ya.. =)

After the mtg, it was going down to meet my mum and sis for the birthday dinner.. before tat, I made a trip down to newurbanmale.com shop and got my party tank top (which is depicted on the left!).. but as to which one, I won't tell you.. This is like one of my dream apparel from newurbanmale.. and I got it lahx.. It was a birthday treat for myself =).. so happy of course!

Came home half dead and bathe and then sleep lohx..

Morning wake up go to work.. As usual, its a Monday and I have the Monday blues.. haix.. sianx.. But work ended early for me at 1700 hrs.. came home.. bathe, watch TV and now blogging lohx..

I've got to go now, becos I got like 2-3 worship sets to prepare.. I wonder wat time will I sleep tonite.. hmmm..

Well.. I muz say this year, my birthday celebration is a little quiet.. not quite the ideal celebration wat I wish to have.. but oh well.. at least there is the tot of it there by my church mates, where they showered me with wonderful gifts, and well wishes as well.. so ya..

There was supposed to be a box of Special Unagi Roll from Sushi Tei, which is given to me by Christina.. but then I finished up all liaox.. I shared with my church mates (how cld I forget my bro, Andrew, which I treated him a piece of it as well lohx!).. so ya..

And when I saw tat it was unagi, I was like elated lahx.. and I asked Christina how she koe I like the unagi sushi from Sushi Tei? She said she heard me say before.. so ya..

Then you see the shirt? This is bought by my bros, Andrew & Nathaniel.. they knew I wanted a freshbox tshirt (becos I told Andrew tat I want to get one when I pass by Far East..), and actually he remembered! Wow bro.. you really have a good memory huh! =) Thanx bros!

Parker Pen
Then the pen you see in the picture is given my Ryan & Cat.. Ppl, its a PARKER pen ok.. never in my whole life has someone given me a Parker pen! Ha.. They are the first lahx! =).. Its so expensive tat I dun koe how to use it.. ha.. Thanx ryan & cat! I think I will use it in church.. becos this kind of pen use at my workplace, in secs, it wld be gone! ha =).. But thanx for it loh! =)

Pinnacle Studios V.10 Titanium Edition
Last but not least, my precious, "Pinnacle Studios V.10 Titanium Edition".. and this was the surprise gift, which I really didnt expect it at all! Here's wat happened..

A week back, Tjow said tat I shld invest in a Pinnacle Studios software since I'm very into publicity (both church and youth camps).. so ya.. So I tot it was a good idea.. so I called Challenger to find out the price, and it was $199! I was taken aback of course, becos its like I dun have the money and cash to get this.. so I decided to settle for the "not so expensive video editing software, which is Ulead"..

Then a few days back, I was online with Tjow and I told him tat I wanted to Ulead, student edition.. and he immediately told me NOT to get it, becos its not good and all.. Pinnacle is much better.. so I was like ok lohx.. then he suggested something else.. Was of course favourable for tat idea.. Can save money mahx =)..

Then I sent him an SMS yesterday morning to remind him abt the software idea tat he has given me.. Then he juz replied, "okay"..

Then when I went to church, I forgotten all abt it.. and after service, it was like got Youth Meeting, so we all proceeded to Vil'lage @ China Square.. had my dinner.. then when I saw Tjow, I remembered tat he has to give me the stuff tat I wanted.. So I asked him, and he said its in his car..

Then he said, "abriel, open up the present lahx.. I wrap one.. see who is it from..".. I shook the parcel, and I had a wild tot (but rejected it after a brief second, becos I dun feel its possible!) tat it maybe Pinnacle Studios, becos Tjow asked me before as to whether I'm keen to get a pinnacle studios the other time.. I replied yes of course, becos its like one of my dreams to have pinnacle studios lahx..

I wanted to open, but then paiseh.. so many ppl.. then he said "why never open?".. so I oblige him, and I started from the top of the wrapper.. and low and behold, when I saw wat was inside, I was like in a complete state of shock! I was speechless and stared blankly in space.. If I were anymore emotional, I think I wld juz cry.. and actually at tat time I felt like sleeping liaox, but suddenly, this whole pinnacle studios thingy juz woke me up lahx.. went round to thank the ppl who pooled money to buy this gift.. so here is a special shout out of thanks to the various ppl who has given me Pinnacle Studios: Tjow, Claudia, Elly, Jaslyn, Alvin & Carlise! Thank you all so so much! You all have made my 23rd birthday a lot more sweeter than before! Ha.. how nice this was my 21st birthday rather than my 23rd birthday! hahax..

Then came home, and took photos of my gifts lohx.. and here am I blogging abt it! =)

The one with the candles!

Well ppl.. I'm officially 23 today!

It has been a flood of SMSes from ppl wishing me a happy 23rd birthday! All of these SMSes mean something to me.. so ya.. Many thanks to those ppl who have wished me in one way or another! Your thoughts are greatly appreciated! =)

Then today I suddenly felt quite happy at work though I'm super tired becos I slept late yesterday nite! =).. was doing my publicity video lahx.. wat u expect! =)

Today becos my section leader was not here, and there was this time where there is only this China guy who like have to cook the last batch of jelly but no one helped him.. so I offered my help, and managed to cook the bottom layer for the jelly.. Quite fun I muz say..

Then also today I changed the date tag for the filling machine, becos I took over one guy for tea lahx.. so ya.. So you can say I learnt a lot today.. so ya.. Thank God for that opportunity, becos my probation is ending soon, and I foresee tat I wld have a confirmation test soon.. so ya.. so this is good practice lahx! =)

Ok.. I gtg and leave this blog again! Becos I have to rush for my Publicity proposal for Sunday's mtg.. so ya..

A quickie..

Well.. this post wld be a very short post.. and I really mean short..

Jus to inform you ppl tat I didnt do my video last nite as i was too tired to even move after blogging..

Had an afternoon lunch with my China workers.. quite enjoyable I muz say! =)

After work, went to Fossil Service Centre @ Pacific Plaza to collect my Fossil watch.. Not very appealing atr first, but after seeing it a lot of times, it finally became very appealing.. hahax.. will show you if I have the chance lah! =)

Ok lah.. I think tat shld end my day liaox.. real short rite?

Ok.. I gtg now and finish up my last video for the camp to be shown this Sunday to the Camp Committee.. so ya..! =)

And I juz can't believe it.. my birthday is juz 4 hrs away! haix.. getting old liaox.. which also means my IPPT window is going to open soon.. so ya.. sad lahx.. but dun wish to think tat now.. so ya =)

Shacked..

Yes! I'm totally shacked out!

After 2 long days of work + working on my Publicity video till 2330 in the nite, and waking up at 0600 for work, I think I really can't take it liaox.. Everytime I lie on the bed or juz sit down, my eyes wld start to feel heavy.. so ya.. its a terrible feeling you koe! =)

Regarding abt my video editing software, I have discussed with Tjow and he said he got lobang, so ask me not to buy.. so ya.. so good lohx.. at least I can save money! =)

Oh.. I think I'm gonna buy a party tank top from newurbanmale when my payday comes.. for my church camp.. becos cfm go swimming, and I wld be wearing tat lahx.. so can suntan a bit I hope? hahax.. I'm either gonna get the black and luminous green "canoe and polo" one or the one with striking red and orange "california".. so ya.. either one lah.. but this is gonna be bought after my pay comes nxt wed (28/3).. so its definately after my birthday..
**Hint: if anyone of you out there wanna buy the party tank as my birthday gift, I wouldn't mind at all =P..

Oh.. saying abt my birthday, its like in 2 days lahx.. so fast.. this means my IPPT window will open for the year and I need to go for exercise.. sianx..

But the upside of it is tat my bro, Andrew, is bking out from PA on my birthday itself! This has gonna be my best birthday present lah! I koe this is cliche but I still got to say it lahx.. ok lahx..

I think I will sleep liaox.. actually want to complete my next video today (which I brainstorm during my work, and it was tough, becos my brain is tired and can't think.. and when I can't think, I get very worked up easily.. so ya.. but thank God tat its no problem lahx..

So much to do yet so little time..

Well.. all I can say is tat I'm super stress today!

I've got like a zillion things to achieve tonite (or maybe its only 3 VIDEOS!), but its a lot of work ok! =) haix..

So ya.. my mind is filled with many stuff.. both for Youth and church camp lahx.. super stress.. lots of deadlines and stuff to settle.. Publicity really is a LOT of work! so ya.. But I shld persevere..

I enquired abt a video-editing software liaox.. I may juz go and get it when my pay comes tat is.. so ya..

Then at nite, I got a call from the Fossil Watch Service Centre, and the manager called me as I asked her to call me ASAP.. so ya.. And I tell you.. her PR (Public Relation) skills is really good.. she is super friendly lahx.. hahax.. Now, I support Fossil becos of this. =)

Ok lah.. I think I gtg and log off this blogpost liaox.. a lot to achieve tonite.. dun koe how late I wld sleep sia..

H.A.P.P.Y!!

Yesterday was one of the Sundays tat I have been so looking forward to, and I muz say tat it was a successful one! so ya..

The recee for my church camp was good and successful I muz say.. Was also glad tat at least Tjow brought his camera to take the photos, becos my camera may not be good enuf lahx..

So ya.. had a whale of a time in Tjow's car! I also had a good time shopping on goodies lahx! Both Christina and I were like food fanatics.. buy so much.. hahax.. guess she is my future food shopping kakki =P..

But wats best is tat Christina said something at the dunch (dinner+lunch) table which even made the waiter laugh.. Uncle Andrew ordered a chicken dish and told Christina to help place the order.. and she looked at it, and said in exuberantly, " Yaya.. I want this CHICKEN!".. well.. I koe this sounds wrong, but ya.. tats wat she said.. now you koe why we all chuckled? =)

Then its back to Singapore and then watch the Ren Ci Charity Show 2007 on TV.. it was interesting, and at some pt, where they show reality TV clips abt those ppl.. I almost teared at one of them.. so ya.. but didnt lahx. ha..

Then its sleep lohx..

This morning wake up for work.. Quite sianx as usual, becos got the Monday blues mahx.. super sianx lahx.. but when its time to go home, I'm super excited abt it! hahax.. =P

Came home and then blog this post lohx.. After this finish, I'm going to like continue with my second publicity video for church camp.. so ya.. I got a rough concept of wat I want to do, but ya.. nothing's firmed yet..

The weekend is here..

Ok.. I koe I have not been posting for the past few days, becos I was either busy or tired.. so here is a brief account of wat I did during the past 2 days..

Friday (16/3)

Ok.. on this day, work was ok.. Except tat I had non-stop action since Monday until lunchtime.. so ya.. This day, there was no production, but then lots os paperwork juz come one after another.. initially, I didnt koe it's so much paperwork to be done.. until its like after this thing, I had to do another.. Fwah! I tell you.. you wld be surprised at how much paperwork I did loh!

Then I also got to open MRs (Material Requisition), as we need raw materials like fruits and packaging for my production next week.. This is the crucial part, as 1 wrong step, like miscalculation, wld cause the production flow to breakdown, and you don't want to do tat, becos you wld be "blamed" for it.. so ya.. Really stressful lahx! haix.. but thank God, I still managed to do it, and I'm crossing my fingers for next week! so ya..

Becos its so much paperwork to be done, I stayed until 1700 hrs to finish up my paperwork.. so you can see for urself.. I tot 1600 hrs I can leave office, but I was wrong.. so ya.. haix..

Then after left office, went to Toa Payoh to buy my favourite rojak and run some errands for my mum.. And guess wat.. for the FIRST time in my life, I've been in a scene where the show, "Campus Superstar 2", was holding its audition.. hahax.. maybe I see myself on TV? hahax.. if you do see me, pls. call me.. ha.. I'm wearing a very striking blue shirt.. so ya..
Anyway, some of the contestants were quite good I muz say, but its only the minority few.. I listened to like 5 of them, and only 1 made it thru.. I do agree with the judges though, becos the rest is like either they sing out of tune, or they juz can't sing becos lyrics not clear and stuff.. so ya.. Which make me wonder whether is this like becos they want to be on TV or wat? hmm..

Came home, had cell but was super tired.. so after it ended, I went to my room and sleep for the nite.. and tat was only at abt 2200 hrs.. so ya.. I'm tired becos the previous nite, had spend like 4 hrs completing my Youth Camp registration form (which is due in July 07, but since I got time now, do first lohx!), and as a result, slept like at 0030, which the next day, I have to wake up at 0600 for my work.. so ya..

Satuday (17/3)

Went to work feeling grouchy a little.. had a slight headache..

Then at work, my senior operator like refuse to help me as to wat I'm doing.. so I like told my boss tat I wld do it myself, becos my senior operator like doesnt want to help, and becos of this, I dun want to see his sulky face, etc.. so ya..

My boss asked me something via SMS, and I replied him, and told him of the situation.. and then I think he talk to my senior operator, and then he came in to help lohx.. so ya..

Then went to church.. Church was ok.. Sermon was good.. and then on the same day, had the Guys' Fellowship.. This session is good.. so ya.. Am surprised at how some ppl really "open up".. so ya.. so ya.. looking forward for the next one liaox! =)

Then after tat, came home lahx.. tired, and therefore sleep for the nite lohx..

Sunday (18/3)

Woke up at 0815 this morning.. and immediately, I turned on my computer to blog this blogpost lohx.. becos if I dun blog now, I dun koe when I will have the time.. so ya..

Later going for my Church Camp recee trip to Malaysia with a few other church mates.. Well.. I'm there not for pleasure, but its more for "work".. becos I'm in charge of publicity, and today's trip, wld be crucial in the next pubclicity video.. which I reckon it wld be like a mth's time or sumthing.. Juz hope I will have the time and strength to do it, becos its like my schedule at work is unpredicable.. so ya..

Ok lahx.. I think tat shld say abt my weekend lohx..

And yes.. In juz a mere 5 days time (23/03), I'm gonna be older by a year.. 23 yrs old.. haix.. super sad.. more ppl wld be calling me old then.. but look at it this way.. at least I wld be looked upon as a big brother to some, and they may seek some sound advice from me.. but oh well.. Guess getting older is all part and parcel of human life.. haix..

Ok lahx.. really got to run.. have to do some other stuff, becos soon, I'm gonna be up to Malaysia for the rest of today, and hope to reach home early, becos I dun koe how long the jam at Malaysia wld be, judging tat today is the last day of the school holidays.. *keeping fingers cross*.. The day @ work..

Ok.. after my boss nagging yesterday, I decided to go down at 0730 hrs to check on my workers, process, etc.. and of course, I guess everyone of them was shocked.. becos I usually reached down at abt 0800 hrs.. so ya.. but a little shock to them is good.. hahax..

But becos of this, I almost cldnt leave office at 1600 hrs, becos I was rushing my checking of the production records for yesterday.. so ya..

But I did manage to finish on the dot.. and left office in a jiffy.. 1600 hrs sharp! =)

Ok lah.. other than tat, nothing else major happened at work today.. Tml no production.. yeh! =)

Ok.. gtg and do my Youth Camp 07's registration form liaox.. I'm done with both videos (for church and youth camp).. so ya..

Got to run now.. Adios world! =)

Work was bad today..

Well.. no one loves to be scolded or kenna suan or juz simply nagged at; but guess wat.. I had all these 3 combined in 1 day.. Mostly is from my boss..

Was totally angry with my boss.. He is really unreasonable at times.. dun wish to go into details, becos guess it wld bore you.. and one of it was from my operator, who is tat old man lahx..

Today work totally spoiled my day.. haix..

But wat I can say is tat my patience is running low and to the limit.. so ya.. arghh...

Another work day has gone by..

Well.. surprisingly, this is the end of my Tuesday work day.. such a surprise huh..

Today work was as usual.. tiring as well.. my stupid filling machine kept spoiling.. but thank goodness, today I have low production.. so ya.. or else I wld have scream my heads off! Today my machine spoiled 2 times, and yesterday spoiled as well but repaired after an hour.. so ya.. waste super lots of time..

But I still managed to leave office at 1600 hrs on the dot.. ha.. am I good or wat! =)

Then came home on bus.. and I tot abt this in the bus whilst I was traveling.. juz realise tat I wld turn 23 in juz a matter of days (in fact, its nxt fri, which is 10 days!)

I was listening to "2 Become 1" by Spice Girls on my phone.. and its like it brought back so much memories during my Sec 2 Choir days at Saint Andrew's, where I actually walked home with them after the NDP'98 combined choir rehearsals.. so ya.. it simply brought back much memories lahx.. juz thinking of it will stir up the emotions inside me lohx.. haix.. *tears*

Then the tot of me being 23, suddenly made me feel like I shld be more mature in my thinking.. I muz work for my future.. I'm like more a young working adult who works in order to survive in this high-cost living in Singapore.. so ya.. But ya.. I juz dun koe how else to explain lahx.. its juz tat I suddenly tot a lot of stuff at the age of 23.. so ya.. I can think a lot if I want to lohx..

Then reach home, and then bathe.. and now blog lohx..

After this blog, I'm gonna go back to my publicity lahx.. so ya.. gtg liaox..

Another day at work..

Ok.. this is gonna be a quick one..

Well.. yesterday went out with my bros, Andrew, Nat & Ash to Sakae @ Funan for dinner, and proceeded to Starbucks @ One Fullerton for some chit-chat! The nite was so fun lahx.. it was totally enjoyable! Thanx bros! =)

My bro, Andrew, is going to NS tml.. and as usual, I'm starting to feel the effects of it; being sad and all, becos Andrew is really my confidante.. and now he is gone.. so ya.. but never mind.. I shall brace myself and tell myself tat I shld carry on strongly all by myself.. =).. but ya.. I koe this sounds all sappy and all, but ya.. Today at work not much of a problem.. except tat my machine spoiled, so had to like wait for abt an hour, before it was repaired..

But I still left office at 1600! =).. Was the first to leave.. ha.. I dun care.. no work I leave lohx.. why stay in office zo bo! hahax..

Came home, set up my parent's room TV by using the external antenna.. then was on com liaox.. do this and tat..

After this blog, I'm gonna get back to my publicity.. so ya.. see how lahx..

My driving experience..

Well.. today is my 5th driving lesson lahx.. It was ok lahx.. But its another shocking one.. here's why..

This morning went to Ubi as usual.. then of course, I was like dun koe who will be my instructor.. so I was like hoping for the best lahx..

Then came this guy when I stepped into the car.. he is in his 30s.. confirm.. so age gap, not a problem..

Then I started to feel uncomfortable.. he was a skinhead, had tatoos on his right arm, had a big earing peirced on his right ear.. so I was like "ok.. so wat now?"

Then he started to talk to me, and coincidently, he said the Malay instructor (which I said very good one..) was actually in his team.. and in his team, he is considered the strictest, as in he wants you to get the basics rite before moving on.. so he told me tat normally his students usually take quite long to complete a module.. so ya.. so I was like "ok.. so guess it wld be a strict lesson".. then he asked me whether I had been on the road b4, and I said no.. and surprisingly, I got an answer from him, "ok.. today I'm going to bring you out..".. and I was like "ok.. (but spoke in like not so sure tone and all tat).."

Then he drove very fast.. he practically sped thru lah, and he told me, dun drive like him.. and I was like "orh.. (but in my heart I was thinking, if I were to drive like tat, I wld juz die of shock lahx)".. haha..

So anyway, its time for me to take the wheel, and we switched seats once on the road.. and he juz threw his cigarette box in like the front slot (which was definately in my view).. and I suddenly felt very uncomfortable.. but I tell you.. yes.. he is strict, but he correctly almost all my basics today, and I tell you.. I was quite good at it.. he taught me how to turn gradual bends properly, and when turning at junctions, what shld I look out for, so tat I dun mount kerb and all.. so ya.. it was quite a stressful lesson I muz say.. ha.. becos its like he kept correcting me.. so ya.. and his face is like those super ah-beng kind.. so ya.. I'm sure you all get wat I mean rite.. so ya..

But today, he taught me a few things, and I travelled at gear 4 today for the first time.. hahax.. quite shiok actually.. I have no problems in up-changing gears, but had problems with down-changing of gears.. so ya.. ha..

So in the end, he didnt really clear me on anything lahx, becos probably, my basic was not good enough.. but he told me at the end of the lesson, not to be discouraged by the slow progress, becos I muz get my basics rite before I can continue.. I cldn't agree more lahx.. so ya.. in fact sometimes, I wish he cld be my fixed instructor, so tat I can drive properly.. so ya.. but then again, I dun have the money to have a fixed instructor everytime.. so ya..

And juz ending the lesson, he asked me to make a left turn, which I was in gear 3.. so I shld brake to slow down, and then change gear.. but I forgot.. and in the end, I end in the centre of the 4 lanes.. I turned too much as well too..

But today I only stalled my engine thrice juz b4 moving.. luckily, not in the middle of the road, or else, I wld die..

Then oh.. today I kenna horned by a taxi driver, becos I think its partly my fault.. I was not staying in my lane and I also drive quite slow.. so ya.. I'm super embarassed lahx..

Oh.. then this instructor made 2 swift U-turns.. it was an adrenaline-rush for me, but I was scared tat I kenna banged.. hahax..

Anyway, tat was my driving.. had an experience lahx..

Then came home in bus, and suddenly felt sianx.. dun koe why lah..

I usually is like before driving, I wld look forward for the things to be done later, like go out or sumthing, so tat wld be my motivation to drive properly..

But then today is like nothing lohx.. so I think tats sianx.. then I tot my parents wld say go out.. but I was wrong.. In fact, they said they got dental appt, so they wont be going out.. I was like haix.. then I juz felt sianx lohx..

Then came online to blog this post.. then saw my bro, Andrew, online, and he said tat the 4 bros (ash, nat, him and me) will meet at Sakae for dinner.. so ya.. so at least I get to go out today.. hahax.. juz hope my mood changes for the better lahx..

Ok.. gtg and bathe liaox.. going to church later for worship practice (which if I'm not going out today with my bros, I dun think I even had the mood to go for practice.. so ya.. haix..)

Ok lah.. gtg liaox, or else, I wld be late.. so ya..

The weekend is here..

Well.. yes.. Today is Saturday..

Today went to work in the morning, half dead as usual.. becos came home late yesterday nite mahx..

Work was no problem though.. Was excited going to church, becos it wld be my first official worship leading in church..

Went to church.. had practice.. then Mok came with his electric guitar.. well.. it was a refreshing change/sound though.. =)

Then the worship went on as planned.. Was happy to see tat at least ppl are worshipping when certain songs are sung..

But wat made me really happier was tat I experienced God's Presence during my worship yesterday.. though it was only for a minute or so, but it was enough.. Its juz so nice to be in His presence.. You've got to experience it to koe wat I'm talking abt lahx..
This tremendous opportunity came when at the end of my worship, Alvin (who was the Chairman of the service yesterday), came to announce tat for those of you who want to worship Him for a minute more, can do so.. and I tell you.. The Spirit juz flow in me and I began to speak in tongues, which was a long time since I spoke tat! And I juz dun koe why.. I juz started to shed tears.. and I juz pondering on how great is His love and we juz stand in awe of His wonderful love.. so ya.. juz thinking back abt juz now, I juz wish to savour tat moment again.. so ya.. Just thank God for tat opportunity lah! Its like a thing which you wish can happen often, but it juz doesnt at times.. so ya.. tat was actually the highlight of my worship, or shld I say day.. so ya..

Then at nite, went to dinner at Amara Foodcourt (becos Alvin wanna hold mtg for Youth Camp 07).. so ya.. The food was super ex, but had to eat sumthing rite.. then I had a sudden craving for unagi sushi.. so maween said no more unagi sushi already, becos she has bought some liaox.. Anyway, its like I went down, then I ask the aunty whether got unagi sushi.. and she asked how many, becos she wld do for me.. so I was like ok.. give me 4 lohx.. then the other sushi as well.. so in the end, my sushi was like $5.40.. then my dinner (plus my food at Amara Foodcourt), total is like $10+.. super ex rite..

Then we had mtg.. had some issues resolved.. and thank God.. ideas were already starting to flow into me liaox.. juz hope I can remember them.. hahax..

Then after tat, its like joining my parents opposite church, for some coffee (but it was not Starbucks.. it was juz a normal coffee shop).. so ya..

I wanted a Milo Dinosaur, but it was not on the list.. so the person came and ask me wat I want.. I said I wanted a Milo Dinosaur.. and he replied, "Dinosaur died already".. I was like "orh.. ok".. so in my heart, I was thinking, "does this mean that there is no Milo Dinosaur.. but wait.. why is he asking someone to prepare Milo Dinosaur?"..".. Eventually, my Milo Dinosaur came but the price was shocking.. its for a super small cup lah, and it costs $2.20! I was like thinking to myself, "so ex sia.. in other places, its a bigger cup and the same price..".. Even the other youths on the table (Tash, Deborah, Alvin & Valarie) was like saying so ex lah.. man.. I really was over-charged for something I can do on my own at home.. haix.. =(

Then came home.. really sleepy.. I dun koe why.. Plan to read newspapers after this blog, but I dun koe whether I can 'tong' a not.. so ya.. haix..

Another day @ work..

Today at work was ok.. except tat there were a few things which cause me to be shakened! Here's a brief account..

Today at work, one of my operator (who is a mother of 2), actually earned my sympathy today.. her son played truent in school, and she had to take time off work (permissin granted by my boss of course) to go look for her son.. Then I also heard from other ppl abt her family plight.. so ya.. felt very pitiful for her family.. Ok.. no joke.. My eyes is turning watery as I type this lah.. juz seeing her juz reminds me how great is our mother's love for us.. so ya..

Then another thing is tat I juz dun understand why my young workers juz can't live without a dinner break.. they are like insist they muz have.. juz dun koe abt them lahx.. juz talking abt them makes me really mad.. then one younger worker worst.. his lunch/dinner is ALWAYS 45 mins, instead of the actual 30 mins.. and his teabreak is 30 mins instead of 15 mins.. ALWAYS twice the timing.. arghh.. told him so many times liaox, but he didnt listen.. If my boss asks abt it, I juz dun koe how to explain.. haix..

Then juz b4 I login into internet, my default webpage was Singnet homepage, and guess wat I saw.. They are giving away a Lenovo R80 notebook.. wah lao.. its 10mbps and costs $83 a month.. haix.. I always wanted a notebook over my TV (wanted to wait for IT show then upgrade, but then worried tat my contract ended and I have to pay the full amt.. but then decided not to take the risk, becos wat if the IT show, Singnet decides NOT to give out better freebies than the TV? so ya.. I'm not a risk-taker lahx..) but oh well.. Guess I can't have the best of both worlds.. so juz have to make do with my TV though Tjow did offer me something better.. so ya.. But oh well.. I muz be contended with wat I have..

Ok.. enuf of chatting.. gonna get back to my video liaox.. juz finish my choosing of songs for worship for church camp.. so ya.. now, its doing up the publicity video.. tml cfm no time lohx, becos tml going to combine cell at church, to like encourage (in prayer, I think) my bro, Andrew and Joshua, as they are entering a new chapter of their lives (ie, going NS) nxt week.. so ya.. its like wat my cell grp did for me abt 2.5 yrs ago.. so ya.. kinda miss those times lahx.. but I juz hope tml I dun cry.. ha.. for you koe me lah.. I very emotional one.. so ya..

Days at work..

Well.. I muz say tat I have surviving well in my company quite well.. Quite free this week.. next wk even more free, becos no export.. ha.. but then I free at company, doesnt mean tat I can be free at home, becos I got tons to do at home (particularly my church stuff).. so ya..

I've juz entered my church Youth group committee, and man.. I'm getting lots and lots of email which are all urgent and require my attention.. Now, I got like a thousand and one things to do lahx..

Anyway, work was fine for the past 3 days..

Yesterday initially wanted to use com, but then my sis used it last minute and result in me can't use the com.. Quarrelled with her for a while, becos I was really mad, becos she doesnt keep my things properly after using.. aiyah.. dun want to talk liaox.. Talk more, I will be angry sia!

Oh.. did I told you tat my bro, Andrew, also has bought the same phone as me? Hahax.. The brotherhood phone! hahax.. He asked me how to do some stuff (esp. the photo transferring stuff), and of course, being a good bro of his, I told him lahx.. so ya.. and now, both of us agreed tat Sony Ericsson phones are much better than Nokia.. wat I can say is tat the dictionary in Sony Ericsson phones are much better than Nokia's! I'm serious.. you can go try it urself.. =)

Then today at work, I wasn't really concentrating.. I was actually like thinking abt my church camp publicity lahx.. so ya.. and thank God, managed to write it down on black and white, and therefore, I can remember mahx.. =).. I got short term memory one mahx..

Then my watch can't be repaired and I have to go choose a design from net, and do it on a 1-1 exchange.. so ya.. and I have not chose yet lahx.. haix.. have yet to go to the Suntec City branch to do so.. so ya..

Oh.. I juz remembered tat I may want to buy a 2GB SD card for my digicam, becos I'm going to be heavily involved in publicity for both church and youth camps.. so if I wanna take photos or videos, my 1GB may not be enuf.. so ya.. I see how lahx.. may or may not.. so I think I wld visit the IT show on Sunday lahx.. =)

Ok.. I dun think I can blog anymore..
Lotsa things to complete as soon as possible.. Deadlines are drawing nearer each day!

Shacked @ work..

For once today, my calculation of the accounts at my work seemed so fast lahx.. Left office at 1730..

And today, I was like the whole day troubled over my phone, becos I juz cant see why I can't transfer the photos over, and stuff..

Called M1 for Sony Ericsson's service centre.. got thru and they told me a solution..

When came home, immediately do it.. but then cannot.. called the service centre again, but then again, they still cannot solve..

In the end, I managed to solve it ALL by myself.. so ya.. poor thing rite.. but ya.. now, no problem liaox =)

Then watch TV, ate dinner, and then do this blogpost liaox..

Ok.. My eyes is getting heavy.. very tired.. Good nite world!

Unagi Fest @ Sushi Tei

Well.. this is gonna be 2 days worth of post.. so ya..

Saturday (03/03)

Well well ppl! I've changed my phone from a Nokia 6280 to a Sony Ericsson W810i.. Ya.. quite cheap.. I only pay $48 for this phone, after trade-in of course.. super cheap rite.. was actually $98 but I got $50 off my phone price, becos its like I subscribe the "Bye Bye Ring Ring" service exclusive by M1 (which is my handphone service provider); so its like instead of hearing the normal dialing tone whilst you call me, you wld hear music lahx.. and each mth, I'm able to change track.. so ya.. so dun be mistaken like I'm on voicemail or sumthing =)

Quite happy with my phone, except tat it takes some time for me to get used to, esp. the messenging system.. so ya..

At work during my teabreaks, I actually called M1 shop to find out the prices of the various phones.. and found out tat at last, there was stocks for W810i and W850i.. but then, juz realised tat W850i is way to expensive and not very worth it.. so ya..

So at 1130 sharp, I left office for home in cab.. bathe and change and got down to Paragon and buy the phone.. I was overjoyed.. Thank goodness they still have stocks lahx..

During the trip down to Paragon in MRT, I saw Jason (my friend from Changi Airbase, and we made friends during the GOH days).. didnt talk to him, becos its like so far and so crowded.. so not possible to talk lohx..

Seeing its still early, went to BK @ Amara Hotel for my lunch, and then seeing it was still early, and therefore I juz play with my phone.. Until I received an SMS to say tat the pianist for the day's service was sick, and I was requested to play the piano for the service.. I of course gladly accepted it, but after accepting, I realised tat there were hymns, which were super stress for me.. but nevertheless by God's grace, I manage to play it good enuf lahx.. =)

Service went on, and after tat, had a short church camp 2007 mtg.. Then followed the Youths to Subway for dinner.. for the FIRST time, I actually did have a foot long sandwich.. and I tell you.. I'm super full after tat lahx.. I dun think I will ever eat 1 foot long sandwich again.. too much..

After which, the group of us proceeded to Starbucks @ Suntec, which under my recommendation, we went to the Starbucks @ Suntec where there was nobody.. so ya..

As we walk to Suntec from Citylink, I saw my officer (who was my PC during my RP days @ SBAB).. he is none other than Ivan Goh Hong Jun! =).. hahax.. spelled his full name.. =P..
And wats best is tat we met each other on the escalator, and I called him and he is his usual nerd self.. like talk to me got gold in his mouth.. hahax.. =P. then he asked me a question, as to whether I dye my hair.. I answered him, "no lah.. self brown.. hahax..".. he koe the answer still ask? Ha.. =P.. I think he never expect I dye my hair, becos I'm those guai guai one mahx. =P

Then came home feeling shacked lahx.. and slept for the nite..

Sunday (04/03)

Wake up at 0645.. ate breakfast and then bathe.. and then take bus to go to ubi for my weekly driving lesson..

Driving lesson this week was ok, except tat I stalled the car (again!) for abt 6-7 times, mounted the kurb once (whilst I was driving and practicing my driving ard sharp bend) and hit the kurb twice (again during the practicing of my sharp bend driving) during the 100 mins lesson.. but the instructor is a chinese this time, but its a Chinese young man.. I think he juz older than me a few yrs nia.. He actually tok to me at one pt whilst I was driving, and I realise tat during talking, I somehow wld be stress-free, and I actually can concentrate what I'm doing lohx.. so ya.. =)..
Anyway, becos its like the instructor abt the same age gap as me, so therefore we are easy to click, and again, he didnt scold me or anything.. juz advise me and stuff.. and now, my aiming of how to drive more in the centre of the lane somewhat improve a bit liaox.. so ya.. =).. he gave me tips as to how to do it lohx..

After lesson ended, took bus 93 from ubi to Eunos MRT to go church for Youth Mtg (which is my first, becos I'm being roped into the my Youth grp in church, as an intern).. but guess wat.. I actually like not very sure where to stop, so in the end, I missed a stop and tat resulted me in walking abt 5 mins to the MRT station.. so ya.. Stupid me hor..

Reached church and had prayer for a while, before we had a break.. and then Tjow told me all the funny stories of him learning how to drive at ubi.. My bro, Andrew, and Alvin was there as well.. We all laugh until our tears flow out lahx.. hahax..

Then it was lunch at BK (again!, becos short of time for practice).. After lunch, it was proceeding back to church for Youth music worship prac, which I'm leading.. so ya.. Mok was on guitars, whilst Andrew was on drums.. with 3 of us playing, it was perfect! Ha.. Can see tat all of us were enjoying the worship, and you shld have see me.. I was all smiles.. It somehow is the perfect worship set tat I've chose so far.. hahax.. all glory to God!! =)

After practice, my bro, Andrew and I went to Orchard to like do some window shopping.. I went to newurbanmale and saw this party tank top which is so nice lahx.. its like black in colour and the collar and sides were like lime green.. super nice lahx.. but its like so ex.. $59.90.. I was contemplating so long whether to go get it.. but everytime I want to buy, there is this tot in my mind thinking tat its not practical, becos how many times I go to beach.. so ya.. But after a while, the tot of buying it juz came back.. then Andrew wld like tell me, dun buy becos not practical.. and the cycle juz starts again.. haix.. Wats worse is tat I took a photo of myself in tat top and its in phone.. I look so good in tat lahx.. hahax.. ok.. I shall stop complementing myself.. hahax.. But I seriously look good in it wat! =)

Then we went down to Sushi Tei @ Paragon, where I saw Tiffany (my ex-church mate).. Chat with her for a while.. then Andrew and I got a seat at Sushi Tei, and I made up my mind to try the unagi there.. and I tell you.. we both order almost everything with unagi.. the best of course was "Umaki" (which is Tomago [which is a sweet egg omelette] and inside, its wrapped with a small pc of Unagi..) I tell you.. it was yummy lahx! We both have not tried this new dish before, so we decide to give it a try.. Muz eat this when its hot, or else not nice lahx.

Then we both eat till the pt tat we were too jelat on unagi.. you can imagine how much unagi we ate!

Of course, during dinner, we did chat abt stuff.. did have a good time of chatting with each other..
Bro, tis cld well be one the last few free times where we can chat so freely.. Ya.. no doubt you can bk out for wkends, but the feeling wld somehow be different liaox.. confirm.. you wld koe wat I mean when you go in.. so ya.. but nevertheless, thanx 4 sharing and spending the time with me bro! You are greatly appreciated =)

Before dinner, we went to Starbucks to pass the afternoon away.. we again chatted of course, and it was an enjoyable one..

Then as we want to go for dinner, as we were near the Centrepoint site and its the first Sunday of the mth, so there is this monthly parade thingy of the change of parade ceremony of the Istana guards!.. so ya.. seeing them march and doning on their no. 1, certainly brings back lots of memories.. =(

So after dinner, we both left on our separate ways, and I took the bus back.. and during the bus ride, I slept loh as usual! too tired..

Came home, bathe and then tried to transfer some stuff from PC to my phone.. But it was to no avail, becos I juz cldnt get it properly done.. spend until 0100 in the morning then sleep, but problem still unsolved.. haix..

Ok lah.. gtg and sleep liaox.. so tired lahx.. Need to wake up at 0600 somemore for work.. sianx..

Is work now a burden or my passion?

Well.. today work is both sweet and bitter.. For once, I felt very disappointed in myself, as in not being able to perform my role at my workplace effective enuf.. I sometimes feel that I'm a failure; I juz can't get anything rite.. Am I stupid or simply lazy? I dun koe.. I'm in a very confused state now..

Yes.. this is definately a very emo post.. I dun koe why.. but ya.. Work has certainly taken the toll out of me today.. Was having mixed feelings this whole day, and it feels terrible.. At one time, I didnt even have the appetite to eat lunch.. My heart was feeling heavy, and I needed to vent it out or else, I wld juz feel miserable lahx.. but then to my relief, there is someone who will help me with this, and he is none other than my closest bro, Andrew.. =)

He is really a through and through brother lah.. I SMS him whether is he free to chat becos I wanna vent.. he said not free at the moment but will find time to reply.. so ya.. he so good rite =).. Thanx bro! And I tell you.. I juz poured out my problems to him via SMS which added a total of 22 SMSes! So ya.. scary but its true.. that's how much problems I had today!

Of course, I wld not wish to blog abt my problems, becos its quite personal.. so ya.. Sorry abt tat..

Then after I SMSed him and poured out my problems, I felt so so much better and relieved, but then still I have tat very same feeling, but it was not as heavy as before lahx..

So ya.. once again, I wish to thank my bro for providing that listening ear whenever I need one, especially today.. =).. You are definately appreciated!

Then did a lot of miscelleous stuff, which are minor but essential, and left office at 1930.. so ya..

Came home, had dinner and watch TV and now blog lohx.. =)..

Ok lahx.. gtg liaox.. very tired..

** FYI: Just a week back, I applied for 5 mbps Singnet Broadband, and currently as I blog, I'm running on 5 mbps.. so ya.. Then becos I signed up during the promotion, Singnet gave me a LG LCD 26" TV.. it came 2 days ago, and becos yesterday nite I tot fixing up the TV was easy (but it is not lohx), I spend from 2230-1230 on the TV.. from the wiring till pre-setting TV, VCR and DVD player..
So ya.. quite happy with my installation lah.. or shld I say satisfied with my installation.. hahax.. =)

Ok lah.. My eyes are getting heavy.. gtg and sleep liaox..
