Travel plans changed again!

Ok.. today I had a short chat with Alex and we have decided on the following:

March 2008 - Sydney, Australia
July 2008 - Seoul, Korea.

We are going these 2 places to celebrate our respective birthdays.. so I guess its more saving of $$ and leave as well.. so ya.. =)

Our tentative plans are like that lahx.. we have made a pact that no matter what happens, these 2 trips would still happen.. so ya.. so I have to try to keep myself on the pact lohx..

Other than that, nothing really much happens lohx.. except that today at work is quite "fan" for me, becos I'm torn between 2 issues.. so ya.. dun really want to divulge my tots so publicly in this blog.. so ya.. hope you respect my decision ya.. When I'm ready, I would tell you all ya.. let me first sort out my tots first ya.. =)

Ok lahx.. gtg and do tons of church stuff.. can't afford to slack anymore..

HK trip off! Bintan's in! =)

First & foremost, I would like to announce here tat my bro, Sidney, has written me a testimonial in Friendster, and I'm like so touched by his entry lahx.. I almost cried.. I'm not kidding.. so ya.. Thanx bro!

And my last weekend was fabulous.. fabulous in a sense tat I actually put on 1kg.. I actually ate like a glutton over the weekend..
Saturday after church, Ryan & Cat was like discussing where go for dinner.. and somehow, I got a craving for Pearl River (the craving has started in the morning lahx).. so ya.. and guess wat.. I went there for dinner.. so happy.. Cat even said she ate this dinner until very happy, and both of them have decided to bring their parents to this restaurant for dinner to celebrate their parents' birthday.. so ya..

And I think I really slept like a pig just last Sun (26/8).. I actually slept at 2030 hrs to 0545 on Mon (27/8) to get up and go to work.. so ya.. Am I a pig or wat.. I slept without interuptions ok.. =).. so shiok..

Then last Sun (26/8) driving lesson instructor, was tat havoc one.. he almost cldnt recognise me.. so ya.. but he did in the end lahx.. hahax.. =).. so he corrected my mistakes in the circuit.. and he brought me out for road driving (which I have not done it like for 2-3 mths liaox, as I was practicing my circuit stuff.. so ya..).. but surprising, I still manage to drive thru safely and return in one piece lahx.. hahax.. =P

Well.. my HongKong is officially postponed to March (but then its Spring season and according to my guides, it cld be raining very often, so now dun koe whether to go or not..)..

Alex and me wanted our birthdays this year to be spent overseas.. so ya.. judging by it, there may be a need for us to switch places due to the weather.. The proposed idea would be the following:
March 2008 - Sydney, Australia
July 2008 - Hong Kong

Well.. plans are still underway. Will make arrangements soon.. =)

But this wld mean tat it would cause me a bomb and my leave is like really going burst! ha.. we shall see how lahx.. =)

But wats more or less confirmed is tat instead of Hongkong at the end of the yr, it would be Bintan with my church friends.. its in the works and almost confirming liaox.. just have to confirm with other ppl.. so ya.. =)

So I guess I would have a holiday afterall! hahax..

And yes.. I'm in the process of applying for a Platinum Visa credit card by Citibank.. not too sure whether it would be approved becos of my income.. I got quite vexed over this issue, becos everytime I call, they tell me different things.. so ya.. haix.. I have to check with Citibank tml again.. haix.. =(.. Is applying 1 credit card so difficult? haix.. =(

Oh.. becos I got a free-for-life cheque book from Citibank (becos I opened a salary account with them), I decided to issue a cheque for my Youth Camp '07 payment.. hahax.. it feels so good to issue cheques lahx.. hahax.. =)

Ok lahx.. I gtg and sleep liaox.. just hope my Bintan trip is successful, or else I have to knock my head against the wall liaox.. so ya.. sianx.. =(

Just another day..

Well.. I have got to admit.. Lunches and dinner without Alex (who is my close friend at work, as well as my makan kakki) is starting to get bored..

He is currently back in his hometown for the weekend, and will only come back to work on Mon.. so ya.. well.. just have to "tong" a while more lohx..

Then come Monday, I would koe whether is the trip on or off.. becos he is going to ask.. but a very big part of me tells me that it would be a negative reply, so I never expect much.. so ya.. so if that's the case, then I also dun koe how..

Somehow I just envy ppl can like just go overseas whenever they want, and moreover, they got friends to accompany them.. I dun lohx.. looks like I'm friendless? haix..

But oh well.. I dun dare bare too much hopes for my HongKong trip, or else, I would be disappointed if its a negative reply in the end.. so ya.. I'm just taking 1 step at a time lohx..

In the meantime, I have beginnning to look for alternative kakkis for my Hongkong trip, but to no avail.. either they are busy or they going overseas with their friends.. so now you koe why I said I'm friendless? haix..

But oh well.. If cannot go, cannot go lohx.. I just have to keep on envy and probably save up the money for sumwhere further like US or Australia or Hokkaido? ha.. Hokkaido is my next destination which I hope to go, but then, tat needs at least 3-4k.. so ya.. and tat wld take a long long time.. hahax.. probably years.. but oh well..

I really hope my HongKong trip would work out, so that I would look forward for sumthing during my ICT period which is in Nov.. haix..

Other than that, dun think I got anything to blog abt lohx.. so ya..

workload overload!

Well ppl.. for once, I was shocked in seeing my office email.. An email has been sent to me (and CC to my plant manager and the senior engineer) saying tat from nxt mth onwards (ie, Sept), I would represent my dept in attending the monthly safety committee meeting in office..

I was like fwah! tats fast lahx.. my boss is leaving soon (in fact, last day is 8/9), and he really "tai-chi" it very fast.. hahax.. but oh well.. accepting such a responsibility is really stressful.. so ya.. This really calls for great responsibility.. I at production floor already like almost dying (in a sense tat becos my boss is resigning and there is no boss in the meantime to take over, I'm gonna be so busy downstairs, becos if anything goes wrong, I have to answer for it.. so ya..

And now, there is this extra load.. man.. I juz hope I can cope with so many things on hand lohx..

Other than that, work is quite tiring for me, becos of the lack of sleep at nite over the past few nites.. so ya..

Saying abt which, I'm yawning like crazy now.. so guess I have to turn in for the nite..

And I think my Hongkong trip chances are very slim becos Alex may not be able to take leave.. anyway, I'm already prepared for the worst.. so if he is able to take leave, then good lohx.. its a bonus.. but if not, then I guess I have to either shelf it or postpone it lohx.. haix.. =(

Updates..

Ok.. my weekend was quite happening.. the 2 photos shld do the trick..

The photo on the left was taken at 17/8 (Friday).

Didn't took much photos though, but the video I have on my camera.. so ya.. it was simply beautiful lahx.. I got complimentary tickets from a friend of mine, so that's why I can go onto the floating platform at Marina Bay and view these fireworks lahx!

Oh.. the ppl who cheoreographed this fireworks on this nite, was from Spain.. so ya.. it was simply beautiful lahx! =)

The coming back from Marina Bay was simply horrendous; becos its so simply crowded, I actually walked from the floating stage to Bugis Junction to take bus, and I took a loop! So tat means I sat 1 round, and by the time I reached home, its like 12 midnight liaox..

Slept for the nite and then go to work the next day (Sat - 18/8)..

I decided to throw a belated birthday dinner for my best pal at work, Alex.. and I'm glad it turned out well, though it did not turn out how I want it to be.. but oh well.. wats impt is the company lahx.. so ya..

Food was quite a disappointment, becos there was no oxtail (which I wanted to eat), and the tiramisu was alcohol-overdose.. so ya.. haix..

But I had red wine which is super good lahx.. I love the red wine there =).. Other than that, I dun think anything happened! It was great having such great company.. so ya..

Cheong was also there (who is another pal of mine at my workplace, which he has already resigned and gone to another company.. so ya..), and its good to like "re-unite" with him again.. hahax.. We really talk like old friends who have not met for years.. hahax.. =)

Then again, knowing that there is another fireworks session at Esplanade (which I do not have tix, but I koe its by a China Team), I also took bus from Bugis Junction, and sat 1 round.. so by the time I reach home, its abt 0010 hrs =).. so ya..

Fortunately, I dun have driving the next day, but then got music practice.. so have to wake up early and go lohx..

Then suppose to go to Botanical Gardens for my youth picnic, but then it rained (it always seemed that we dun have any "fate" with Botanical Gardens.. hahax..).. so went to my pastor's hse instead for the "picnic"..

And am glad tat my french onion dip was really well-received! In fact, they are asking for more.. hahax.. so tats good.. becos "little bit makes the heart grow fonder..".. hahax.. =)

Monday (20/8) came, and was super tired becos of work.. so ya.. worked till 2100 hrs.. so ya.. 5 tanks of jellies..

Then today at work, was also quite tiring.. though less production, but then its tiring, in a sense tat I have to do a lot of things.. Moreover, it doesnt help tat I rushed home at 1600 hrs, to go to Toa Payoh Library to borrow bks on Hong Kong & Macau tourist attractions.. so ya.. Not too sure whether I'm going or not.. but in the meantime, juz lent first lohx.. can or cannot is another matter.. so ya..
I borrowed 4 books, and I'm a mountain tortoise lahx, becos its like ages since I've visited the library.. believe you me.. I almost didnt koe how to self-check out the book.. so ya..

Came home, ate dinner and watch TV.. so ya.. then on this blogpost lohx..

I also saw an email which was utterly disappointing, becos it really crashes ALL my hopes into pieces.. literally into pieces! I had so high hopes for this matter, and now, it has to become like that..

Do you koe how hurtful I have felt? I'm sure you can't imagine it! But all hope is not lost.. I have confided this matter to my mentor, which is also my close brother, Tjow, and he advised me on some issues and offered to pray for me.. so ya.. Thanx bro! =)
So becos of this matter, that I really have no mood liaox.. I have been waiting for the return email of this matter.. But I guess tat it was really God's timing in a sense that He didn't fulfill my wish in this matter.. so ya.. Sometimes I really wish I just dun care about this and just carry on with life.. but this matter has such a big impact on me, tat I wonder how long it would take to heal this "wound" of mine? Would it be a while or very long? I dun koe.. only time will tell.. Just hope I'm able to "put down this matter" easily.. haix..

Ok.. I've gtg and sleep liaox.. probably will cry over this matter? I dun koe.. I certainly dun hope so.. but oh well.. we'll see how huh..

I'm getting FAT!!

Well yes ppl.. I am becoming FAT! so ya.. lotsa eating and loafing around the last week..

Sorry for not blogging for so long.. have been busy..

Anyway, my last weekend (Sunday to be precise) actually eating buffet again at Pearl River Palace Restaurant..
And man oh man.. I think most of the staff there (or at least the few captains there actually recognise my family and me as well).. we are such frequent customers of the restaurant lahx.. hahax.. they recognise us until that standard, so you say leh?
My mum like joking that since we eat there so often, they shld give us a VIP card or sumthing.. hahax..

Then the week at work is like so so.. but the surprise actually is tat remember that young chap which I talk abt, tat my boss and I want to sack him becos of his poor attitude as well as he forged my signature?
He actually RESIGNED on his own accord.. so ya.. really thank God for it lahx, becos its really unexpected.. so ya.. No need for me to think of ways of how to sack him and all.. but anyway, his last day would be Monday (20/8), so ya.. I'm super happy can! =) Woohoo..

Oh.. then my church friends originally plans to go to Brisbane at end of yr.. But then due to their shoe-string budget (becos all students except me as a working adult), they decided to forgo the Australia trip and go to Bintan instead, to engage in sea sports and all.. So now I'm like dun mind going to Bintan, but have done some research, and saw the prices, which is like almost the same as Australia lahx.. so ya.. And I'm like thinking since I have worked so hard this whole year, I shld pamper myself and go to somewhere further, at least make my work year more worth it.. so ya.. so I've decided to forgo Bintan for Hong Kong.. so ya..

Am going Hong Kong with Alex.. so ya.. Found out some quotations from some travel agencies and they are really hard to get.. so its like becos its the peak period in December, I have to book soon, becos its like dun koe whether got hotel or not.. so ya..

So its like I have to wait for Alex to approve his leave (which he would only tell me in 2 wks time), then I can enquire further.. so ya..
So in the event that Alex can't go, I have to find another kakki, but I'm glad I have in mind another one liaox.. so dun need to worry.. so ya..
But I really hope I can go to Hong Kong lahx.. we shall see how lohx..

Then just now, I spend like almost 2 hrs in solving a problem, which is so minute as just disabling a feature in my Norton Antivirus.. but ya.. I wanna thank the followig ppl for helping me to solve the problem (actually, I solve the problem myself becos I discovered it myself, but they have helped me in one way or another.. so ya..).. the people are Sidney, Andrew & Tjow.. all 3 are my close brothers.. so ya.. its really comforting to koe tat at such a time, I've got such 3 close brothers in helping me to solve such a problem.. so ya.. Thanx bros! =)

Oh.. I'm currently bking my lessons for my autocar and manual car lessons.. haix.. which means until dun koe wat time then can sleep.. haix.. System slow ah.. sianx..

My apologies..

Ok ppl.. sorry for not blogging for so long.. so ya.. Have been busy both at work and home.. so ya..

At work, its like these few wks, no export, so naturally no need for me to do OT.. on one hand, its good.. on another, its no good, becos no OT pay.. so ya.. haix.. but well.. one cld not get too obsessed with money rite.. so ya..

But then, at least I can do my church stuff at home lahx.. so ya.. and complete it.. so ya..

Then its also like a few of eating stuff with friends.. this mth got like 2 birthdays to celebrate.. one is for shanshan, who was my poly classmate, and my best friend in my company, Alex, who is really having a real belated birthday.. and I can tell you that it is going to be a good one manx.. you wld see wat I mean when the day approach nearer..

But in the meantime, on the left is the compilation of the photos we took.. I spent like 30 mins on this photo, becos suddenly forgot how to do this feature in photoshop liaox.. so after much trial and error, here it is.. =)

It was a mad rush after church lahx.. but ya.. all 4 of us did have a good time together, becos its like since mths we had such a gathering (or shld I say this is the first! hahax..).. This is the first time that I had such good friendship with an attachment student in my company.. well.. good friends are all around me, or should I say tat I'm very sociable.. wahahaha.. =P

Other than that, nothing really much makes my week lahx.. Then by rite, I'm supposed to go to celebrate Alex's birthday on 25/8 @ My Secret Garden, however, due to like becos he needs to go back to his hometown, therefore, I pushed it forward one week earlier lohx.. So really looking forward for that dinner lahx! =)

Ok lah.. Dun think there is anything else to report, except that all I can say is that I'm really getting fat these few days, as well as also, aching in my whole body at work, becos of the intensive bowling session at the church friends' gathering yesterday at Palm Garden's condo.. =).. it was fun.. its been a long time since I've played bowling.. hahax.. and not to mention that we tickled Jon (as a form of "warm up" until he peed in his pants! hahax.. I'm serious!!)
And yes.. I was indeed NDP siao yesterday, becos at the bowling alley, I was like happily shouting "GOH commands" until Tjow asked me to stop.. hahahax.. but I continued! I'm unstoppable! wahahaha... =P

Oh.. even though I was outside and not catching the NDP 07 live, I still recorded it on tape, and once I reached home, bathe and then managed to watch till the Parade & Ceremony segment ended.. and guess wat.. the feeling and memory of being in Air Force GOH simply juz flashes in my mind.. and the tinge of sadness just fills me.. and of course, when the National Anthem was sung, I actually teared a bit.. so ya.. I was tat emotional, whenever the National Anthem is sung on National Day.. the tot of Singapore being able to stand strong and tall after 42 yrs and it lies in the support of our Minister Mentor, Mr Lee Kuan Yew! Kudos to Mr Lee Kuan Yew! =)

But oh well.. thats abt all the fun tat I had this wk lohx! =)

This mth dun ask me to give you treats or sumthing ok, becos this mth's pay would be super low, becos no OT, so no money! Period.
