The long break has ended..

Well.. as the saying goes, all good things muz come to an end.. The long break has sadly ended..

It was work today again.. and its like so funny lahx.. I got like somewhat lost in my job.. Suddenly, I dun koe wat to do next.. so ya.. never did I expect to have such a short memory lahx..

Well, work was ok, until the afternoon where there is one operator who totally didnt show me respect as his superior.. He actually like machiam is the boss, and somewhat tell me wat to do in a very rude way.. I'm not going into details, becos if I do, I wld start to get angry and my blood wld boil.. so ya.. but all I can say is tat this operator of mine is really getting in my nerves at times; though there is a very big age gap between both of us, but then becos I'm his superior, I expect him to show me some respect lah, and not juz like telling me wat to do, as if he is my boss or sumthing..
I actually want to quarrel with him there and then lahx, but I didnt, becos if I do, it wld cause a very big hoo-har.. confirm.. So much so for me approving him going off early from work on Friday, and this is how he repay me? What a disappointment! But then I realise tat whenever he is not around, I somewhat became happier.. so ya.. dun koe why lahx.. its not only today, but its everytime lahx.. so now you can see how I dislike this operator; even my boss doesnt like him as well..
So wat I did was to like isolate myself from him; talk to him as little as possible, and if I can, I dun talk to him at all.. In the afternoon, he was like want to talk to me; I of course had to oblige, but didnt carry on.. its more like a sentence thingy and I stop.. I was totally mad and angry with him lah.. argh..

Then everytime I got problems, I wld juz vent it out, by msg my bro, Andrew, but he didnt like reply becos he was busy with his work.. but at least, I did vent and after which, I felt ok liaox! =)

Work continued for the day, and by 1550, my production finished and I counted the accounts for the day.. and by 1700, I left office for home.. so ya..

Came home, bathe and ate dinner.. then watch TV but slept whilst watching.. so ya.. but now wake up liaox, and now blog loh..

But before this blogpost, I was actually preparing another worship set for my worship leading session in church for end of March.. so ya.. becos now I free, better prepare early, or else, when no time to choose, then I will die liaox, becos confirm tired and then no mood liaox mahx.. so ya..
I still have some editing to do, but at least the main structure is there liaox.. juz add a few "cosmetics" to the worship set, and its done loh.. so ya.. but all these I will take my time, becos its like anyway, end of March lehx.. =)

Ok lah.. gtg and sleep now liaox.. becos its late liaox.. need to have enuf sleep, or else tml wld be grouchy again lahx..

The most boring shopping trip ever!

Well.. yes.. went to church for prac, and was indeed surprised to see Mok lahx.. but oh well.. glad he came.. he added life into the guitar playing.. =).. He is good with his guitar manz! =).. Keep it up buddy!

Then its me teaching the music team (or rather mostly uncles and aunties) some basic music theory.. it was ok lahx.. quite fun.. becos its like one of my childhood dream to like teach ppl.. becos I remember when I was young, or actually studying (from primary 1-poly yr 3), my method of studying is not juz like sit there and read.. instead, I wld pretend tat I was a teacher, and I wld draw diagrams on paper and stuff.. I wld stick those papers on my wardrobe cupboard, and pretend tat there were students, and I wld like somewhat "talk to myself".. so ya.. tats how I study lahx.. And in fact, tat method work for me lohx =).. so ya..

After church, it was me and my parents going down to Pacific Plaza to repair my Adidas watch.. apparently, they said tat the mechanism was a problem.. so ya.. They said it needed abt a mth to repair as the spare parts were all shipped from US.. so ya.. dun koe how true, but I dun have a choice rite.. so ya..

After I was done, went down to the 2nd floor to meet my parents.. just then, I saw a familiar figure, and he is none other than my former sgt, Yifu! Ha.. he was busy on the phone, so we didnt talk more than 2 sentences.. so ya.. but oh well, seeing him was happy ever! hahax...

But after I was done with it, I was like dun koe wat to do liaox.. becos nothing to buy, so did window shopping, which is so boring lahx.. You may ask why I have nothing to buy? This is becos wat I wanted to buy, I bought it last mth liaox.. so ya.. So I think I wld be saving up for my new phone, which now I'm not sure whether to get a phone which I have to fork out $288 (Sony Ericsson W850i - which is currently out of stock) or $98 (Sony Ericsson W810i).. haix.. now, I'm really in a dilemma lahx.. can someone pls. enlighten me? Your help is very much appreciated! =)

Then today, Andrew didnt attend music prac, becos its like he has some last min work-related stuff to attend to, so he cldnt come lohx.. a bit the sad lahx, becos I miss his drum =(.. I juz dun koe wat I am going to do when he has enlisted, and maybe I wld not hear his drum beats for at least 2 yrs.. haix.. =(.. Guess I wld need time to get used to!

Then today somehow I dun koe whether izzit becos I'm not shopping for stuff I want, or izzit becos my bros are not with me shopping and stuff, I somewhat felt very bored or something missing.. I juz dun koe wats wrong with me.. =(

Ok lah.. gtg liaox.. surf awhile online, and then sleep liaox.. tml is another working day.. sianx.. =(.. Quite a long week ahead as well.. so ya..

More good food this weekend!

Well.. today went to work.. and as usual, I was bored at work.. so ya.. My section leader came 30 mins later, which fortunately I was there early (at 0700 of course) to help supervise.. so ya..

Then at abt 1000, my boss asked me whether I'm free at 1030 to go support the R&D dept in their yearly short presentation thingy.. I cannot also muz say ok rite.. becos its like ya.. I'm like looking forward to it.. but oh well.. its tat mixed feeling whether shld I go or not loh.. but I did in the end lahx, becos boss call leh.. how can I not go? Moreover, I dun have any excuse not to go rite.. haix..

So its like I tot it wld finish 1100, but I was wrong.. after the short presentation, there was the "lou hei" thingy.. so ya.. I juz love lou hei.. its so nice lahx.. I can 2-3 servings lahx.. hahax.. so anyway, I tried other new products too as well lahx, which I muz say some of it is quite nice.. but as to wat new products, I'm afraid I can't say, becos its confidential.. so ya.. so if you want to koe, look out for Marigold adverts ba! =).. be anticipated loh!

Then its me doning on my zara polo shirt and my gap pants, and went off to church.. Not very satisfied with my hair though.. juz cant seem to get it rite lahx.. so ya.. =(

Then church was slightly stressful, becos I had to like sing one song in parts! *yeeks* (I have not sing in such parts for like 5-6 yrs liaox.. so ya.. naturally wld be rusty!).. and when I tot tat ppl can't hear me (becos I'm on stage and can't hear myself at all), I got 1 person telling me tat I was off pitch and sang out of tune, becos they actually pipped up my volume for my part.. so I tell you.. its the most embarassing thing tat can happen to me lah.. a singer sang out of tune? I shld have jump to my death lah.. haix.. so disappointing lahx..

Church was over in a jiffy, and its proceeding to dinner at some zhi-char place in Bedok, recommended by aunty doris (alvin's mum, whose nickname is zhi-char agent, becos she koes where is the best zhi char in Singapore.. hahax.. way to go aunty doris!).. =P..

And guess wat.. becos yesterday was the 7th day of CNY, it was traditionally everyone's birthday according to the Chinese belief, and they actually call it, "ren ri".. so its on this day tat ppl eat another round of 'lou hei'.. and I think I'm very fortunate this year.. this 'lou hei' is my 5th round this year.. come on.. I'm waiting for juz 2 more 'lou hei' to make it the 7th round, which wld make it a perfect number to have.. hahax.. so any sponsors anyone? =)

Got a ride from Carlise in her car to get to tat zhi-char place.. and its like we youths occupy 1 whole table lahx.. so we are like see who cannot finish watever dish they have, they juz put it on our table, and in minutes, it wld be gone in minutes.. hahax.. we all have very high metabolic rate lahx..

Anyway, becos its like we are travelling in the East, and I suddenly tot of like Tjow may go to the Hong Kong Cafe in East Coast, becos he said he wanted to go like a few mths back, but didnt have the chance too.. Becos you koe why? I also like want to go there too, since we are in the west liaox..

Then during the dinner, it was so so much fun making fun of rachel goh and tash.. haha.. they are the bimbotic twins.. =P.. Mok started it, then ryan join in the fun, then me.. ha.. the best part was tat there was this english parsley on a dish, and I pass it to tash, who pass it to rachel goh.. and ryan said to rachel tat she shld eat it becos its from her hometown.. hahax.. I tell you.. Mok and I was laughing until our stomach aches lah... then also during the dinner, Jon Gouw, Mok and me were like discussing SA (Saint Andrew's) stuff, and Mok was like reminiscing the bad "stunts" he did during his sec sch days.. apparently, he was very naughty in sec sch lahx.. How do I koe? Well, shall not say in this blog.. you have to ask me personally, and I would decide whether to tell you on a case-to-case basis.. so ya.. =)

Then near the end of the dinner, Tjow told Carlise that he felt like going to a place.. and before he could finish his sentence, I said, "Hong Kong Cafe @ East Coast".. and I was on bullseye! hahax.. well Tjow, wat cld I say, great minds think alike! =)

As I was feeling so full from all the dinner and food, I decide to have something light.. juz a 'bo lo' char siew bun and a yuan yang (which is a mix of coffee and tea, which I had last time..).. And I tell you. This is one of the best suppers I had lahx..

My verdict of this Hong Kong Cafe, definately MUCH better than wat I had at Kovan. so ya.. You shld go and try.. the food there is also nice.. Had a spoonful of my fave, Mango with Pomelo, and a piece of french toast with maple syrup and butter.. yummy! =) I wld want to eat this again lahx!

With this Hong Kong Cafe, I think its like I'm one of the most contented guy in the world, becos I wld think they provide one of the best supper stuff.. =).. I feel its even better than Roti Prata at West Coast.. hahax..

So went back to Valley Point to meet my parents.. then cabbed home.. bathe.. and then by 0100, I slept for the day.. super tired I tell you..

Then this morning woke up at 0630 to go driving.. and I tell you.. my driving skills still didnt improve.. I still can't keep to the center of the lane.. haix.. then today I learn how to drive sharp bend, and I tell you.. it was very stressful.. but wats comforting of all this, is tat I got the SAME instructor tat taught me my last lesson (which is the friendly malay instructor and didnt scold me a bit.. he juz laugh it off.. so ya..).. so in a way, I was quite fortunate lahx, becos I find him very good loh.. =).. He was very patient with me lahx.. =)

And everytime after it was the time for my instructor to take the wheels and when I got out of the car to go to the side seat, my legs would juz shiver lahx.. dun koe why.. muz be too tense.. even my instructor said I was too tense.. so ya.. guess I need to relax myself.. now, my gradual turns not so bad liaox.. its juz brushing up on my lane position, and my next lesson shld be learning to practice on sharp bends liaox.. juz hope I have the same instructor loh.. so ya.. see how lahx..

Ok lah.. gtg liaox.. gtg now to church for music practice and also a short music theory lesson, which I'm actually conducting it.. another stressful session..

Ok lah.. gtg liaox.. if I got time tonight, wld blog again.. so ya.. if not, it shld be tml lahx.. Ciaoz! =)

IKEA rox!

Hi all! I've shacked after today's work, though there is nothing much to do at work.. In fact, I was finding things to do in office lahx, but to no avail lohx.. haix.. What I needed to do is all done within max, an hour loh! so ya..

The reason why I was shacked is becos I spend the whole afternoon yesterday doing up my room.. what it is you may wonder? Read on...

Yesterday morning, I had a crazy idea.. I told my parents tat I wanted to change the computer table, since the original table I had is like going to give way soon.. so ya..

I wanted to get the table like yesterday, becos its like if I dun get it yesterday, I dun have time liaox.. moreover, I dun koe how long my computer table can withstand the weight of my com.. so ya..

So went over to IKEA @ Alexander to shop for a table.. my dad followed to give some advice and also to provide some manpower in help to carry the stuff.. so ya..

IKEA was empty lahx, becos its a weekday.. so we actually had a lot of time to shop.. so ya.. and in a twinkle of an eye, I have shopped for close to an hour, before I decided on one, which you see in the picture lahx..

So ya.. and this table doesn't come cheap.. the table itself costs $199.. then I added another additional self which cost $50, and a halogen bulb worklamp, which costs me another $35.. then its my dad bought some other stuff as well.. so all in all, both of us spend $300.. which of course, by spending $300 or more, you wld automatically be entitled to join IKEA as a member.. so we did lah.. and its under my name.. so if you ever need an IKEA card for discounts or stuff, can ask from me.. I would be glad to lent it to you! =)

Frankly speaking, this is the first time tat I bought furniture from IKEA, and I tot the assembling of it would be easy enuf.. but never did I expect tat the assembling takes me and my dad 7 hrs.. we did from 1730-0030.. and you koe my character lah.. when I dun get something done, I won't have the appetite to eat.. so ya.. so yes.. I didnt eat my dinner until 0030.. I bathe, and by 0100, I went to sleep and woke up at 0600 on the same morning to go to work.. so now you koe why I was shacked.. =)

But after seeing the finished work, I felt all worth it lah.. Then I started to plug back the wires and attaching back the various wires to the CPU.. so ya..

Then I went for a total revamption, in a sense I rearrange my placement of the various gadgets I have previously on the computer table.. so ya..

And tata.. it turned out to be like tat loh.. I koe its a bit messy, becos the wires are everywhere, but I cldnt help it.. I have no space liaox.. and I like my speakers to be at the top shelf, becos machiam like surround sound when on.. ha.. I'm not kidding! =)

Ok lah.. gtg and sleep liaox.. tml got to wake up like at 0530, becos tml muz reach work at 0700 instead of 0730, becos one of my senior staff is not back from malaysia yet.. so ya.. =)..

Got to go dreamland liaox..

Of good eating and shopping...

People, juz a twinkle of the eye, today is already the 3rd day of CNY! Tat's fast or wat.. ppl going to work tml and students going to school, but I'm at home relaxing.. =)..

Anyway, today did a few stuff with my parents.. went out to spend some family time lahx.. so ya.. Anyway as usual, I'm photo frenzy, and therefore took pics as well.. so ya.. =).. so enjoy lahx.. it maybe more pics than words.. so ya..

Well.. first stop, it was at the Hong Kong Cafe near Kovan for lunch.. my mum wanted to try the food there, so decided to go there lohx.. and when I first step in, I got so impressed with their menu covers, that I decided to be a photographer for the day, and juz try to take the perfect shot lohx.. =).. so there it is in the photo lohx!

Heard from all the people that I koe is tat, in Hong Kong Cafes, there is one thing that is a must-try, and that is the Ying Yang (which is a creative mix of tea and coffee).. so ya.. What I think is that its something interesting and you muz try.. and becos they serve it so 70's (they serve it in a metal cup), and therefore, how could I resist the moment, but take photos of it rite =)

Well.. this is a disappointment lahx, becos the beef is too tough and dry.. and the black pepper sauce is like too sweet for my liking.. so ya.. but one thing's of comfort though; I like the mee sua =)

Went shopping a while at Orchard to look for my top, and after which, I felt generous, and therefore gave my parents a treat at Azabu Sabo @ Marina Square..

This is the second time I went to eat at this restaurant liaox.. so ya.. anyway, this was the dessert that 3 of us shared.. so ya.. =).. Its Hokkaido green tea ice-cream, with small dumplings and red bean paste.. I tell you.. it was yummy.. you shld try it someday lahx =)

Well.. since I was in a Japanese restaurant, how cld I miss the unagi, since I've been craving it for weeks and not eaten any yet? so ya.. However, I was slightly disappointed with the unagi bento, becos its like not enuf Teriyaki sauce on the unagi and also the unagi is too soft.. not those elastic one which I like.. so ya.. the fishy taste was also very strong.. so ya.. haix.. but nevertheless, it was ok lahx.. =)

Oh.. then the blessing in disguise came.. The total bill came up to like $71.05 (after GST & service charge), but becos I used my UOB Debit and pay for the bill (which I didn't koe it has benefits!), I got 10% off the bill, and only pay $64.00.. so ya.. not bad huh.. =).. so it was indeed a blessing in disguise! =)

Well.. as you koe, a metro me can never be contented with a few fashionable clothing I have.. so ya.. so I have decided to buy a new top to wear to my church's CNY service this coming Sat (24/2).. so ya.. Not bad rite..

It was a new arrival from Zara.. and ya.. becos I can carry off pink, and it matches my bottom (which is from Gap and its brownish in colour), I look perfectly ok and nice lahx.. =).. Ok.. I shall stop boasting.. =)

Ok lahx.. gtg and sleep liaox.. too tired already.. tml is another off day for me, but then again, its unpaid.. so ya.. =(.. but anyway, better than nothing wat.. go office also nothing to do, so muz why stay at home.. =)

The visitation to houses never ends...

Well ppl.. I juzt realised tat my blogposts are always at least 1 day later than the event itself.. hahax.. becos I'm busy mahx.. =) Anyway, here is my blogpost..

The Second Day of CNY (Monday, 19 Feb 2007)

Well.. as a matter of fact, yesterday doesn't seem to be a day of CNY.. becos its like its Monday and its a weekday.. so ya.. I juz dun koe why yesterday I dun have the mood lahx..

But as the day passes by, the festive mood start to come back..
FYI: Yesterday was visiting my dad's side relatives.. so ya..

First stop was at my eldest uncle's place, where it would be a annual affair that all my uncles, aunties and cousins gathered there for our Peranakan lunch cooked by my grandmother (The 'Mee Siam' and 'Sambal Nanas' is to die for lahx!!).. It was yummy I tell you! =).. Just thinking of it now as I've written this blog, I juz felt like eating it again lohx.. *drools*

Didnt really talk much to my cousins of the same age, becos they are like so so busy, so ya.. And they got their girlfriends to entertain too as well.. ha.. so dun want to play gooseberry.. =P

But as time goes by, I get more warmed up and spoke to my cousins and stuff.. but still not much lahx.. I juz didnt koe why I'm not as talkative as before.. so ya..

But ya.. one thing I'm very happy is that a lot of my cousins say they like my hair yesterday.. the colour and styling was nice.. hahax.. =)..
Well, I also felt my hair yesterday was good.. one of the best lahx.. so ya.. thanx to my bro, Andrew, for giving me sound advice on how to do my hair and stuff.. so ya.. Bro, it was a success! Thanx bro! =)

Then its like at almost every hse, there was bak kwa (BBQ pork which is a must have at every CNY!)... so I ate.. and along with that, there are some other stuff as well.. so ya.. And I just felt tat by eating all these, I will gain weight and true enuf, I did lahx.. so sad.. =(.. but fortunately its not the really gain until so much weight thingy.. so ya.. so at least tats comforting.. but then again, this means I have to lose weight soon, or else, I will just die of fatness lahx.. =)

Last stop was my aunty's hse, where we had a Peranakan dinner (duh.. wat u expect? I Peranakan mahx!).. The food was so good lahx, but I could only eat 1 bowl of rice with some food, becos I was super full lahx (from all the snacking and stuff!).. hahax..

Then came home with family lohx.. bathe and then sleep liaox.. too tired.. so ya..

Woke up this morning at abt 0900.. later going to visit my grandfather's grave, followed by me going to Heeren to get my Adidas watch fixed.. dun koe what happened.. I think the battery something wrong or stuff.. so ya.. Will go there and find it out lohx after my visit to my grandfather's grave lahx.. so ya..

So guess today wld be another day of family time?

And I would be on unpaid leave for tml and thurs.. so ya.. so that means 2 more days of enjoyment! =)

Happy Chinese New Year everyone!!

Well.. the Year of the Pig has been ushered in today! Here's me wishing everyone, a very Happy Lunar New Year! =)

I muz say tat the Year of the Dog has been a very memorable one, with me juz ORD and all.. and this is the first time after 2 yrs, I've started my personal makeover.. so ya.. Glad it was a rather successful one, or else, I think I would juz bang my head against the wall and hid my head in the sand.. hahax..

Oh.. this blogpost is gonna be filled with photos, rather than me juz talking.. becos a picture is worth a thousand words mahx.. =).. so ya.. so sometimes, I would juz blog less and let you see the pic lohx! =).. so enjoy! =)

The Reunion Dinner @ Pearl River Palace Restaurant, Suntec City (Saturday, 17 Feb 2007)

Its been a while since our whole family sat down for a dinner, and not to mention the reunion dinner which is a yearly affair.. so ya.. and becos its a yearly affair, and I've started working already, I have decided to give my family a treat at this year's reunion.. so ya..

However, this reunion dinner costs me a bomb (usually twice as more than wat I spend on normal treats for my family, but this is a CNY reunion dinner afterall.. so no choice lohx!)

Went to the dinner right after church, so ya.. Because church finish early, so lotsa free time to play with.. so its like after some delay-daly at church, left church at abt 1730 hrs.. so ya..

Then we proceeded over to Starbucks @ Suntec City, becos I was super hungry.. imagine me having to 'tong' my stomach from 1730 to 2000.. my stomach cannot make it liaox loh.. so ya..

So my dad treated me to their ice signature chocolate drink and I requested for a serving of their pasta salad =).. Yummy!

So after the eating and all at Starbucks, it was just waiting there for time to pass, since shops were all closed, so can't do shopping at all.. so ya.. And becos I was so free, I whipped out my camera and started cam-whoring.. and viola.. took quite a few pics of myself at Starbucks, but this was my most satisfied pic.. =)I juz love everything in this picture.. the person, the hair, the attire.. etc.. hahax.. ok, I shall stop and dun let me spoil your CNY.. hahax.. but this is the truth mahx.. =P

Well.. I koe the photo doesnt turn out nice, becos of the poor lighting of the place lahx.. but ya..

Anyway, when I went to church with this attire, lotsa ppl from church has been complimenting of my attire (from top to bottom).. ppl say I look handsome in it, and said I shld dress like this more often..

Wah.. I was so flattered lahx.. but in my mind, I was thinking, "of course lahx.. do they koe how much money I've invested in myself to make myself this handsome.. hahax.. there is a price to pay for everything ya koe!"..

It turns out that everything juz work perfectly.. my hair colour and stuff.. but then, the sad thing is tat no young gals complimented me.. all is the ppl over the age of 35.. hahax.. but oh well.. ppl compliment me is enuf to boost my confidence and make my makeover all worthwhile.. =)

When I first wore this attire at home, and tried on the new specs, I felt so much like a Korean actor, Bae Yong Jun.. hahax.. =P..

Let me give u a few comments tat I remembered ppl giving me over this attire:

".. Why today you look so handsome ah? So shuai?"

".. Last time you were so boy boy, now you are so man! You shld dress like this more often .."

".. When did you dye your hair? And your dressing like this looks good on you!"

".. (In mandarin) You look very good like that. You shld dress like tat more often"

Well.. for these positive comments, I can only thank my bro, Andrew, for being my fashion consultant! =).. If were not for him, I wld not look this good! Thanx bro! =).. And he was like showing off and telling everyone tat the top he chose for me one.. haix.. but never mind.. let him claim some credit.. but then again, if nice shirt, but no good *ahem* model (hint: the model referred here is the person who writes this blog!) to wear, then how can ppl say his taste good? =P

Well... this is a must-eat starter dish at every CNY reunion dinners.. and I muz say this is very nice!

And the waitress who served us were very helpful as well.. and they were very professional too! Before every ingredient being put into the yu sheng, they say some reallu auspicious words, which I koe its customary to do so, but some restaurants I patronise last time, dun practice this at all.. so ya.. =)..

The salmon was sliced perfectly, with NO fishy taste at all.. so ya.. =).. This is super yummy! But I only have a complaint.. not enough vegetables.. =)

Not a bad dish, but then again, not enough vegetables as well! But the dried scallops were really yummy! =).. They were simply cooked to perfection; and they were cooked until it was springy in nature.. so ya.. =)

What can I say? This dish is superb; both in terms of taste and quality. The soup was very tasty, and for many Chinese out there, I'm sure all of us love shark's fin soup.. its considered a delicacy in Asia in the past centuries.. =).. so ya..

It was so good tat I actually had 2 bowls of the soup lohx.. wahahaha.. =)

This is such a refreshing dessert, and it will remain always for my family at least..

The mango in there is really good.. and the pomelo is refreshing as well.. 1 bowl is not enuf actually.. we wld need more than 1 bowl.. but then to our disappointment, we are each entitled to only 1 bowl each.. so ya.. haix..

But after much discussion, my sis and my birthday is coming soon, and we've decided again to go there and eat to celebrate our birthday, somewhere nxt mth lohx.. so ya.. =)

Then after the dinner, it was time to go home.. and so we did, with our tummies all full and stuff.. we indeed had a very good CNY reunion dinner! =)

The First Day of CNY (Sunday, 18 Feb 2007)

Today is the first day of Chinese New Year.. and visitation to my mum's elder sis place is a must for my family at every 1st day of the Chinese New Year..

And I muz say its one of the most boring vistations at every CNY.. ya.. no doubt tat I go collect ang pows, but then I always find going there has no meaning.. My cousins at my mum's side, we seldom talk lahx, becos the age gap is quite big.. at least 5-6 yrs.. so ya.. my sis and I were the smallest in the family.. so now you say how old can my cousins get? so ya..

So anyway, initially I went out of the hse, I was feeling ok (be it my attire or hair)..
By the way, I spend abt 10 mins on my hair, and then can do this.. but this was not my best.. juz cant get it rite.. arghh..

After my family's visitation at my aunt's place, we proceeded to The Cathay and catch the movie, Protege (which is a good movie to catch.. had some really insightful information abt drug addicts.. so ya.. but lots of syringes being used in the show, so if you are like me who wld like whole body turn soft at the sight of blood or needles, then I suggest if you can, dun go watch.. so ya.. But if you are not afraid of anything, then go ahead.. it wld make your money worth every cent! Its been a while since I had watched a Mandarin film which is so meaningful.. so ya..)

Went to buy tickets, and realised tat there were lots of free time.. so cam-whore again.. hahax.. and managed to take this pic lahx.. nice rite =)

Then dun koe why, suddenly I had juz like a mood swing and felt moody.. I dun koe wat came into me, and I suddenly felt very moody.. at times grouchy..
I was not too sure whether its becos I was tired or wat.. I juz felt very lousy today.. I SMSed my bro, Andrew, today abt this feeling I had, but then though I vented to someone, it still didnt help..

Then my mum asked me wat I wanted to snack on during the movie screening, I looked ard and tot I dun want to eat so full, becos I had a very heavy and late lunch + all the snacking earlier at my aunty's hse.. so I told her said I dun want anything.. then she asked me wat drink I wanted.. then I said dun want as well, becos I was thinking to myself, "the next few days I'm gonna gouge myself with soft drinks, so I dun want to add more calories to myself".. so ya.. but my mum mistaken tat I was showing my temper (which I'm not obviously! I juz felt moody..).. Then she asked me whether izzit becos I wanted Starbucks, which she didnt got it for me earlier, and I said "no..", which she didnt like believe lahx..

But after much thinking, I decided to go for a healthier snack.. a honey lemon chicken sandwhich, which cost $4.50.. so ex lahx.. then I bought a drink, a Minute Maid Limeade.. so ya..

Then went in to watch the movie, and after it ended, I was feeling so full lahx.. And then I told my mum tat I didnt want to have anything tat is associated with bread for dinner, as I didnt want to see bread.. I had a craving for sushi.. Proceeded to the sushi counter at Carrefour, Plaza Singapura, but I didnt buy it in the end, becos its like not very nice and the serving is smaller.. so ya..

Then my mum wanted to eat BK and I obviously said no.. my mum was like very mad with me and she said I go settle my own dinner.. so in the end, I bought a 3 pc meal of KFC for dinner.. its been a while since I ate KFC.. 6 mths to be precise! I had not eaten KFC since NDP 2006 ended in Aug 2006.. so ya..

Came home by NEL train, and they reach home, bathe and eat my KFC.. and of course, I was so conscious of my weight, tat I actually peeled off the skin and then eat the meat.. so ya.. some of you may say wasted, but oh well.. this is me! =)

But I'm glad I didnt eat with skin, becos if I do, I would juz vomit or sumthing, becos it was very gelat.. I shld have taken 2 pcs instead of 3.. so ya.. haix.. a lesson learnt I suppose.. =)

After eating, I'm now blogging loh.. and its getting late, which means I have to sleep now, or else cannot go for another round of visitation, which wld be a LOT tml lohx.. so need lots of rest..

The factory is almost empty..

Yes.. this is exactly wat happened to my factory.. for the first time, I have seen the AQCOs (asst. quality control officers) like at the end of the day, can sit down and relax.. usually they rush like mad one.. so ya..

Then my dept like super quiet also becos all the malaysians went back to their hometown mahx.. so ya.. tat left only the china guys and singaporeans.. so ya..

Then dun say production floor.. the office was also super ulu.. dun koe why suddenly the office is also very quiet today lohx.. the same ppl work, but then its juz its too quiet for discomfort.. usually weekdays, the office very noisy one.. but dun koe why.. like ghost-town lik etat..

Today production finish early, but I have to count and rush the report up to my boss as soon as possible, becos he is going back to malaysia tonight too lohx.. so ya..

Then the China workers told me they envied us (singaporeans and malaysians) becos we get to celebrate CNY with our families.. whilst they are not able too, becos they sign a contract tat they are not allowed to go back only 2 yrs later.. so ya.. and they said this is the first time tat they left their families for CNY.. so ya.. when I heard tat, I felt so much for them, tat I almost shed a tear or two lahx.. they very poor thing lehx.. haix..

Then came home, bathe and watch TV for a while, before I went back to my room, to mix and match my clothings and put aside for the various days of CNY.. so ya.. so here is my breakdown:

Reunion Dinner (17/02) - 1 set
CNY (1st day) - 1 set
CNY (2nd day) - 1 set
CNY service @ Church (24/2) - 1 set

Well.. call me metro or vain kettle (as my bro, Andrew, puts it) or sumthing.. I actually wear almost everything with my sets of clothing to see whether it matched or sumthing.. so ya.. And I'm glad it fit lahx.. so everything is perfect except my hair.. I have to style it juz like my hairstylist, which I think it wld be very hard, but will try lahx.. so ya..

Ok.. will take photos for each day, so tat you can see my fashion lohx.. =).. hahax..

Now, I gtg and sleep liaox, becos I got to wake up at 0530 tml, becos 0700 I need to reach office, becos my staff wld be there at tat time.. so ya.. I need to instruct them to do stuff.. so ya.. but of course, with me so early go work, 1100 can knock off liaox.. and I'm going to knock off on the dot lahx.. so ya..

Ok.. I juz cant wait to wear my new clothings and wear my new specs and all.. hahax..

No time to blog..

Yes.. I seriously am really busy at work.. Everyday work until very late.. so ya.. sorry peepz for not blogging.. hope ya dun mind.. which I think you dun rite =)

And ya.. The past 2 days have been very stressful loh at work.. with lots of deadlines to meet.. then the export stuff kept changing.. my staff get all vexed up and all becos everyday work till quite late into the nite.. Then the usual, some of my staff were not very cooperative.. so ya.. Haix.. dun mention them liaox..

Then evening, Tjow called me to give me my first task of being the "Creative Director" in my church Youth.. so ya.. and I have to like pick and choose the photos (1 chunk I tell you!), in like a week, despite my busy schedule at work.. so ya.. but guess tat since I'm given this responsibility, I have to carry out this role lahx.. so ya..
To Tjow: you really koe to choose time ah.. next wk I no production.. u good ah.. *thumbs up*

Then now as I'm blogging, I'm surfing my driving website at the same time.. juz realised I'm able to book my driving lessons for the whole mth of April.. so ya.. Thank God! I tot I was not able to book my lessons for April.. so ya.. =)

Then my bro in camp, Sidney, called me last min and jio me to go with him for dinner (buffet somemore).. so ya.. actually didnt want to go, becos I spend like too much this mth liaox.. so ya.. but then again, I want to like catch up with him and stuff.. so ya.. so had to "force" myself to go lahx but then again, its partly willing too as well.. hahax..

Ok lahx.. gtg liaox and sleep.. really late.. tml is though I finish work early, but then ah, tml I got tremendous stress again, becos I have to count the accounts myself (becos no one help me to check and stuff, so I had to make sure everything is correct lahx..)

Quality brotherhood time..

As I mentioned in my title, had a great brotherhood time.. ha.. we are all shopping like nobody's business.. and especially me and andrew were the biggest spenders for the day! =).. From the above, you can see my expenditure for the past 2 mths were really big.. all becos of the big day, which is CNY.. =).. read more to find out..

Today's driving instructor was super good lahx.. he didnt scold when I did a mistake.. so ya.. but I was quite taken aback by how fast he go straight into the driving lesson, considering this being my 2nd lesson only..

When I first went there, I was like thinking who wil be my instructor for the day.. so I was expecting it like if chinese, hope not so bad one, or else keep scolding me or sumthing.. so ya..

Then I got a malay one.. and I tell you.. he was good lah.. but he was a bit "fast".. in a sense tat I was thinking tat he wld revise with me the pedals and stuff.. but no.. he instead call me to start driving and stuff.. and tat very same lesson, I spend my entire 100 mins going round and round the circuit, with me learning how to make curves and turns, and keeping to the center lane, which I mastered it like almost at the end of my lesson.. so ya.. but still need practice lahx.. so ya..

Then met my bro, Andrew, at Citylink, becos I was there to upgrade my net access to 5mbps.. so ya.. and for tat, Singnet is giving me a FREE 26" LCD LG TV which is HD ready.. so ya.. tats their current promotion lahx.. so ya.. fortunately I got there early, or else a lot of ppl loh.. so ya..

After tat, we both went to Raffles City to eat BK for lunch.. then we both took train and go church for music practice.. Practice was all rite..

Then met Ash & Nat to go for our CNY 2007 fashion shopping.. so ya.. with Ash, Nat & Andrew, it cld only mean 1 thing.. more suaning from them, and I tell you, I'm numbed to it liaox.. so ya.. so no pt.. =P..

But wat I can't take it was Nat's lame jokes.. I tell you.. its those really lame ones which he say already, you can immediately go knock your head on the wall and let your head bleed.. so ya.. its tat lame I tell you..

First stop was at Gap @ Centrepoint.. and I tell you.. it was like shocking, becos one staff approached me and asked me whether I remembered him.. and I told him I did remember him, but juz cant remember his name.. so after he told me his name, I was like oh ya.. btw, his name is Azli.. so ya..

As Carlise was there shopping with us for a while, she asked Azli whether can give staff discount.. and he said he part-timer, so cant give discount.. so ya.. Used my UOB Debit and got a 15% discount.. so ya.. in the end, my polo t-shirt was less than $30 instead of the usual $39.. so ya.. but I tell you.. its SUPER comforatable.. Man.. I shld have got more of those =).. The material is good lahx.. =)

Then Andrew bought a brown condroy bottom, and becos I use my debit as well, he also got 15% discount from an original price of $99.. so ya.. =)


Overall, I had a super fun time shopping with my bros.. =).. Thanks bros for everything! This nite wld always be remembered =..Anyway, below is wat I bought for the day lah.. which is abt close to $300.. so ya.. see below for the photos..

The weekend is here..

Today went to church.. so ya..

Worship was great.. at least now we got Mok up and running playing for Youth, and I muz tell you, he was good man.. I dun need to tell him wat key.. he juz play and listen, and then came up with the key liaox.. a talented guy! =)

After church, went to Kopitiam @ Vivo to eat.. was abt to procastinate tat place, becos I tot the range was little and the food not very nice.. but wat I didnt expect is tat the place has changed for the better (I think they want to compete with Food Republic bah).. so ya..

So whilst I was looking for seats, and finally we got 1 after 15 mins later, guess who I saw?

I saw my former sgt in my RP course at Paya Lebar Airbase, and he is none other than Goh Kah Xian.. I tot I saw the wrong person, but ya.. it was him lahx..

He also saw me but I think he cldnt recognise me, becos I was wearing my contacts, and my hair is dyed lah.. he muz be thinking I'm those guai guai type, so where will dye hair.. hahax.. so I'm being punk now huh =)

So ya.. anyway, said a brief "hi" and then he go off liaox.. so ya.. quite a good experience to see him lahx, becos its like he is one of the best sgt I have in NS.. so ya.. =)

Then went to Starbucks (as usual..).. decide to try a new drink, Chocolate Chip Cream Frappucino.. I asked for the low fat version, and they told me they use skim milk, so its low fat or almost fat-free.. so ya.. but then to my surprise, after abt a few mouthfuls, I felt very full.. muz be the skim milk which made me so jelat! hahax..

Then came home and on the net, wanted to book my driving lessons for April 2007, but then can't becos its fully booked.. haix.. so no driving lessons for April lohx.. sianx rite.. haix..

Ok lah.. gtg and do my other work liaox.. too tired..

Tired @ work..

Well.. today at work was all right, until I went with one of my staff to take crates.. and I tell you.. today's taking is not as easy as last time.. today one is you take how many is yours.. they not like give you first and let you go..

And I tell you.. I am really shacked to the core lahx, becos crate taking is not easy, I tell you.. Pushing the trolley is enuf to kill, becos I always push the wrong side of the trolley.. haix..

Now my muscles are aching (probably no exercise for a long time liaox).. And today, I didnt meet my target of taking 8 trolleys.. I only had 7 trolleys.. so ya..

Actually, I was supposed to take over one of my staff for dinner, but then again, I need to take crates.. becos there is no extra person liaox, and my target has not reached yet.. so ya.. so if I reached my target, I would not even last till next Tuesday's production.. so ya..
So its like I had tat very old staff (which I told you last time I didnt like him at all.. so ya..) hinting to me by shouting "time for dinner liaox".. I heard it but I didnt care, becos I can't stand ppl with such attitude.. Frankly speaking, I dun even koe tat its time to take over.. But fortunately, my boss was there and he helped them, so they cld eat dinner.. so ya.. My boss koes today I need to take many trolleys of crates, so I guess he didnt ask me not to take crates and do the wrapping.. so ya..

Ok lah.. another long day tml.. tml I may have 1-2 staff absent, which if they really do, I wld have a really busy time, as well as also I cfm wont have enuf time to take small crates..

Dilemma @ work..

Well.. today at work was ok.. except tat I had one very troublesome young stuff.. last time he was ok, and dun koe why, he starts to show some really bad attitude..

Told my boss abt it and advice him to speak to him, but then my boss say I shld be the one doing it and not him, as I was a supervisor.. so ya..

But the problem is tat I didnt want to do it, becos I feel I'm not in a good position to tell him off or juz talk to him abt his attitude.. If not handled properly, he wld show me attitude and not respect me at all.. so ya.. But if I dun tell anyone abt it or tell him, then he wld be worst which I foresee lahx..
Now you koe why I said I'm in a dilemma? haix..

In the end, I told my boss the problem, and he suggested me telling to the main man (which is my section leader of my dept) abt this guy's problem.. which I have been like finding the right opportunity, and today seemed to be the right time, becos its like he was discussing something alone with me in an enclosed room, so its like I felt tat it was a good time, and therefore, I told him abt the problem, and he said he would try to look into it, and see how things go.. so ya..

So ya.. was supposed to leave work like at 1800, but in the end, I had to leave office at 1930, becos there were last min stuff (eg: new calculations which make me all confused, and now I understand, but wonder whether my senior operator tml wld be able to understand.. so ya.. haix..)..

Then afternoon, my 2 China staff told me something which almost really brought me to tears.. They said tat out of all the staff they have interacted with in the company, they find me the best of all, becos I dun discriminate them.. I talk to them.. I care for them, etc... Unlike some of my other staff who will purposely discriminate them.. so ya.. then they told me they dun koe how to repay my kindness tat I showed them..
I told them no need.. becos this is my responsibility to show concern, not only to them, but to other "unpopular" staff as well lahx.. so ya..
But wat they told me tat I was the best among all, almost brought me to tears.. at least I have successfully managed to make them feel impt rather than discriminated by other ppl either verbally or physically or both.. so ya.. haix.. never did I expect such words coming out from my staff.. I tot I was not appreciated at all.. so ya..

Tml wld be another day where I wld "lose face" again, becos I counted the schedule, and I need 12 trolleys of small crates for next week production.. so ya.. so tml is impossible to take 12 trolleys.. so tml, I take 6 trolleys.. so at least, its able to help sustain till next tues.. so ya.. have high production next week.. so ya.. so juz hope the ppl there give me face once more, and let me take crates.. Praying hard lohx.. =)

Speaking of which, I have lost one good army friend of mine to Australia. Ya.. he is none other than my good buddy and former sgt in NS, Damien.. ya.. he is in Aussie studying, and guess wat.. I didnt even see him off at the airport, becos I was busy with work.. haix.. super sad lahx.. I didnt even meet up with him for a last time lahx.. haix.. really sad loh juz to think of it.. so ya..

I really cherish this friend of mine, becos he is one person in camp, who does not act like a sgt at all.. instead, he is like my good friend in camp lahx.. do you believe it? He actually provided a listening ear whenever I need someone to confine with (be it personal problems or some really bad camp problems, like problems with shiftmates, etc), as well as also very patient with me in whatever I do.. so ya..

Now he is gone liaox, and wld only be back in June.. haix.. He was so sweet in a way tat as he was about to depart Singapore on the plane, he sent me an SMS:
"Hey Abriel! I'm leaving Singapore now to go to Aussie. Chat online when you have the time ya! Bye"..
I tell you.. when I read tat msg, I was almost at the verge of tears.. super sianx.. dun talk abt him liaox, or else I would juz cry lahx.. so ya.. sorry for being so sentimental.. =(

Another day @ work..

Today at work made my boss slightly unhappy, becos he had to do double work.. but then again, its not my fault.. so ya.. but anyway, he didnt really scold.. he juz showed his form of dismay lahx..

Oh well.. today nothing much happened at work.. everything went on as normal.. and I guess I juz have some form of good friendship ties with my China workers.. they machiam treat me as their really close friend and all tat.. any problems or not-so-secret secrets, they would tell me.. so I guess they dun see me as their supervisor, but instead, its their big brother and friend.. so ya =)

Just cant think of anything else to blog.. except to say tat I'm tired lahx.. High production this week..

An update @ work..

Ok.. this wld be short.. becos if you see the time when I end this blogpost, it wld be super late liaox.. I'm actually typing this blogpost half asleep.. so ya..

Today at work was ok.. except tat I was a bit startled abt my boss asking me whether I want to take leave during the CNY period..

I replied to him tat I have no leave, unless I take unpaid leave.. and surprisingly, my boss said ok.. take unpaid leave.. so I took 2 days of unpaid leave.. so 21/1 & 22/1, I'm on unpaid leave lahx.. Though lost a bit of money, but no choice lahx..

Oh.. today, I went down with my staff to get small crates (which is always a problem).. At first, the collection of crates was super slow.. but when I'm there, it somewhat like they wanna give me face, so they allow me to collect watever I need lohx.. Ha.. for a moment, I felt like so impt.. ha.. of course, I did also thank them, and before tat, I pre-empt the workers how many trolleys of crates I need.. so ya.. So they have to let me lahx, becos they want to give me face mahx.. hahax.. =)

Ok lah.. other than my unpaid leave is cfm taken liaox and approved by my boss, nothing else is worthy of me to say anymore..

I need to sleep now.. super tired.. juz came home not long ago.. worked till 2130 for OT.. haix..

What a great day!

Well.. ok.. I koe I can't contain my excitement in my first driving lesson today, but ya.. shall blog further down.. so read on..

Yesterday at church was all right.. I'm so satisfied with my dressing yesterday lahx.. hahax.. I feel so super hunk-ish and handsome.. hahax.. ok.. you ppl out there, I koe you want to vomit, but no pail.. =P

Then went to Amara Hotel foodcourt for dinner.. food was so so, though the stalls were super little variety..

After dinner, Enoch called me to another table and had a chat with me.. and I tell you.. I was pre-empt by my bro, Andrew, abt wat to expect, as in he attended the Youth Leaders' mtg last week, and he told me the various things tat I wld be involved in my Youth liaox.. but then, he didnt tell me the details.. And Enoch told me the details of it, and I was like, "wah.. so many things now ah?.. I tot a bit of things only, but the workload is like very high.. its like I feel so stretched to my limit..".. But I guess there is a first time in everything, and since this was presented to me, I shall accept it and take it as a challenge.. Though its not easy, but I wld koe tat there would be God as well as good church friends and leaders guiding me along.. so ya.. Am keeping a positive attitude lahx, but right down inside, its like I'm worried tat I can't fulfill the high hopes they have of me.. so ya..

Like rite now, I'm now the formal Publicity guy for both Church and Youth.. Both camps (church and youth), I would THE guy who is in chrage of publicity.. and I tell you.. its NO easy feat, becos my ideas are limited, and moreover, my work committments.. So ya.. but nevertheless, I shall give it a try lahx.. so ya.. I have tot of an idea for Church Camp publicity liaox, but tat is only 1 idea.. I need many more.. so ya.. I shall take it one step at a time lahx..

So ya.. after the chat, we all proceeded to Starbucks @ Plaza Singapura to juz chill out.. I had a Venti Java Chip Frap after much persuation from one of the Starbucks staff there.. here's the conversation:

Me: Hi.. A grande Java Chip pls.
Staff: Wld you like to upgrade to a venti size Sir? Its more worth it; just 50 cents more!

Me: No. A grande size would do. Can't finish.
Staff: That's what everybody who orders Venti says. But after that, when I see their cups, it was empty.

Me: Ok ok lah.. A venti size lah. *smiles*
Staff: *Chuckles*. A venti size Java Chip Frap?

Me: *Nods*
Staff: That would be $7.50, Sir.

Had my drink, and was stoned for a while all by myself at a table, becos I was thinking wat to drink, and also was quite tired.. Stoning at that time seemed to be perfect..

Then just as I was almost get ready to go home, had an engaging chat with Alvin, as to what shld I expect on my first day of driving lesson.. so ya.. so he told me all abt what I shld koe.. Now I got wat he means by all the terms he told me.. especially the accelerator part.. so ya.. the accelerator pedal is really sensitive.

So ya.. then woke up this morning at 0630.. ate my breakfast.. left hse at 0730.. reach the driving centre at Ubi at 0815.. lesson start at 0830.. so ya.. And I tell you.. I was again filled with much anxiety, becos I really dun koe wat to expect.. tats why..

Then this morning when 0830 reached, I saw this instructor of mine.. he looks ok, but then see him a bit fierce.. but then, I tot "do not judge a book by its cover".. so I proceeded lohx..

When I got into the car, we exchanged greetings then he asked me whether I have passed my final theory and also whether its my first lesson.. so ya.. I replied to his questions..

Then he brought me to a carpark, where he taught me some stuff.. But at times, I muz admit tat my instructor got unreasonable at times, becos its like I want to ask him a question, then he think, and then tell me, dun jump the gun.. one step at a time.. I was like orh ok loh..

Then sometimes I dun koe anything or can't remember, and I ask him, and he would like give me a very fed up face and then tell me.. so ya..

So of course, had some scoldings.. but not those kind where the person juz shouted and all.. its juz like scolding me for being forgettful and all.. so ya.. I dun really felt good when kenna from my instructor lahx.. so ya..

But I felt really good when I drive and the car is moving.. Learnt quite a few stuff today.. so ya.. Learnt how to turn curves as well.. though simple as it may seems, its actually quite difficult, esp with me estimating the distances as to how many turns to make, as well as I muz also control the clutch and accelerator pedal well.. which also keeping in mind as my hand coordination of the steering wheel.. Still can't coordinate well.. so ya.. But the gear changing is easy.. hahax.. =).. and juz realise tat I dun even need to step on the accelator pedal when I'm in reverse gear.. juz step clutch at biting pt can liaox.. hahax..

For those of you who passed your driving or are currently driving, you wld koe wat I'm toking abt lahx.. so ya.. but then, I guess I still have a long way to go.. but wat I can truly say tat I juz love driving the car, especially Toyota Vios. =) Very user-friendly.. so ya.. =)

Am looking forward for my next driving lesson next week! =).. Also got a huge discovery.. I juz found out tat I had a straight bus to my driving centre from the bus-stop juz in front of my hse.. hahax.. this is even more convenient for me lahx =)

Then after came home, surf net for a while, and then went out for music practice @ church.. mok is in the music team now liaox, so ya.. very happy! =)..

After practice, then went with my family to Chinatown to buy Chinese New Year stuff.. of course, I paid for the stuff lahx.. I see wat I like, I buy.. and of course, the prices are a bit steep as well, but then again, this is only a yearly affair.. so ya..

However, my most satisfied purchase wld be buying the BBQ Pork (or commonly known as 'Bak Kwa').. a must have at every CNY.. so ya.. Went to Fook Hai Building @ Chinatown to get it lahx.. so ya.. becos its like recommended by The Sunday Times, and its 1 star more than Lim Chee Guan.. and moreover, this is slightly healthier, becos it uses lean meat, whereas Lim Chee Guan uses not so lean meat.. so ya.. so naturally, the one which I bought is naturally tougher.. so ya.. The brand tat I bought was "Kim Hock Guan".. so ya.. notice the difference =)
At first, when I queue, it was not like a long queue.. After I was done, it was like a super long queue.. so ya..
Passed by Lim Chee Guan, and surprising, the queue was not long as well.. dun koe why.. hmm.. Anyway, I buy liaox.. so dun bother.. but when I pass by Lim Chee Guan, I somewhat felt a sense of regret.. so oh well...

Then went shopping with parents for my CNY fashion.. Walked passed New York New York @ Citylink, when I heard someone called my name.. and I didnt see who.. until my mum said someone calling me and she pt to the person.. and to my surprise, I saw my camp mates, Yanwei, Hern Khoon & Anli.. so ya.. caught up with them for abt 5 mins, before saying bye and carried on with my shopping.. so ya..

I bought a Giordano shorts at a 30% discount.. original was $39.. but after discount, it was only $27+.. so ya.. =)..

Then went to Carrefour to buy some hair stuff for my makeover hair! so ya.. bought a wax, after much interaction via SMS with my bro, Andrew, as he gave me solid and good advice, as to how to make my hightlights more obvious.. so ya..

However,I'm still looking for a top, and to my dismay, I cld not find one lahx.. haix. looks like I have to go back to Gap and buy the polo tshirt.. so ya.. juz have to see loh.. going with my bro and fashion consultant, Andrew, of course! =)

Then took bus with parents to go home.. was dead tired.. but still blog this post.. After this post, I'm cfm sleeping.. so shack sia..

A process of makeover...

But the price to pay was a bit on the high side.. $100!! But this includes, dye, highlight, wash, blow and cut! Everything bao ke liao and its only $100? Quite cheap liaox, I muz say!

Before I continue, I would like to announce to the WHOLE world (or else you ppl who read my blog, after 2 very long years, I finally dye my hair!! =)

Hahax.. tonite was quite a well spent day! =)..

Was at work today.. today at work is enjoyable, becos production finished early, and by 1630, I left for office..

In the afternoon, I was having a dilemma as to whether dye my hair today or Sunday.. but after much tot and some excitment, I decided to do my hair today, since I finish work so early lahx.. So ya..
Becos I koe tat if I go on Sunday, the queue wld be super long.. becos its the weekend.. and moreover, I do everything, so they naturally wld be tired and stuff, so they can't concentrate.. so today, not much ppl at the salon, so I had somewhat undivided attention.. hahax..

But I spend quite a lot of time at my salon.. I started my hair at 1700, but didnt leave the salon until 1915! So ya.. Long huh.. the highlight procedure already take up close to 45 mins to an hour liaox.. so ya..

It was quite an experience, since I have not dyed my hair in a salon before.. so ya.. I did DIY before, but then its super troublesome.. so ya..

So its like when they first put on the highlight and its done after 15-20 mins of heating with the dun koe wat u call tat, I got a shock, becos the colour of the highlight is like so beng.. blond leh..

Then it was washing time for my hair.. the shampoo girl washed my hair, and then blow for me, before she sets colour to my hair.. I heard my hairstylist telling her light brown.. so I was like light brown? Wld it be super blond tat kind? I was scared I tell you.. so ya..

Then I was like halfway, flip thru the magazine, and saw a nice colour (of course no super blond), and cfm with my hairstylist as to whether is tat the colour of the turn out? He said yes.. so I was somewhat relieved lahx.. =)

Then 30 mins passed, and the girl came back to me, and called me to go wash another round of my hair, but this time, with conditioner and shampoo.. so ya.. and after washing, I was like so scared to see the colour.. but I was shocked and surprised.. the colour was so nice lahx.. this is the colour I exactly wanted! =).. so ya.. I was all smiles lahx.. you shld have see tat grin on my face..

Hahax.. then I asked my hairstylist how to style my hair.. and he told me how to do it lahx.. so ya.. I shall try it soon lahx.. maybe Sunday or sumthing.. =)

Ok.. now I very happy with my hairstyle, until dun koe whether I can sleep tonite or not.. tml I go to work, sure ppl ask me abt my hair one.. hahax.. very hiao nowadays.. hahax..

I think I have spent a hefty sum on my makeover this CNY.. so ya.. Its like the first time I have spent so much on a makeover.. haix.. but then, wat to do?? Muz spruce up my image, becos I'm not young anymore.. muz make myself look young.. hahax.. not young, girls wont like.. hahax.. so any takers out there who want to be my special friend?? hahax.. I sound so cheap rite.. hahax.. I koe..
But ppl.. dun take this serious ah.. I'm juz joking.. I'm serious.. so ya.. =).. You koe me lahx.. a joker by nature.. hahax.. =)

Ok lahx.. gtg and sleep liaox.. shall let my pillow enjoy my hair.. hahax.. but my hair smells stink though.. must be the chemical of my hair.. so ya.. ha..

Sianx @ work..

Well.. today feeling really sianx lah.. after my bro in camp, Sidney, told me a bad news.. shall not divulge it lahx, becos not so nice to do so.. so ya..

And becos of the bad news, I cldn't concentrate at work lahx.. so ya.. I get affected by such stuff very easily.. Just felt very sianx lohz.. so ya..

Work was ok lah.. except tat I had no mood for anything lahx, becos of this matter..

Then at nite, Sidney called again to tell me something else which ultimately make the whole situation turn 180 degrees.. so ya.. then I was happy of course.. =) Thanc bro! I owe u a cup of coffee =)

So ya.. juz hope nothing happens tml or my weekend, or else I'm gonna so regret it lahx.. so ya.. but I dun think anything will happen lahx =).. looking at the bright side of things though! =)

Then my bro, Andrew, asked me whether I can go out with him on Sunday (11/2) to go for his CNY fashion shopping, and my turn to be his fashion consultant.. and of course, I said yes lah.. he did accompany me during my buying of clothes, and now its my turn to return him the favour.. so ya.. so have put tat day aside liaox lohx! =) Dun worry bro! I will give u my best fashion advice on tat day! =).. You can count on me! =)

So this Sun, gonna settle the CNY thingy with my family lahx.. =).. so ya.. and yes.. the dyeing of my hair is really drawing closer each day.. its juz 3 days away! =).. can't wait for it lahx! =)
