JJ's new album!

Yes ppl.. its official! I got the LATEST JJ's album in my hands, entitled "Xi Jie"..

The song, "Sha Shou" is good lahx.. its like you listen and you want to listen and listen again.. Well.. if you get your hand on this album, you wld koe wat I mean..

Have seen the MTV for this song.. all I can say is that its one of the "darkest" MTV that JJ has stared in.. so ya.. its totally fits the title of the song.. so ya.. now you koe why I said its dark.. =)

Went straight after work to Toa Payoh's CD Rama to get it.. was absolutely worth it lahx.. dun regret, becos you koe why? I'm a fan of JJ.. =)

Other than that, I dun think I have anything else to comment.. hahax.. am very happy today! =)

Problems.. problems & more problems!

Ok.. its official! I'm super stress today and my patience line is running thin!

I got so much to worry abt.. dun care whether its church or work.. I got tons of things to achieve within a short span of time (as a matter of fact, only 2 days!)..

And ppl have been pressing me to produce results.. the problem is that they dun understand how busy I am, and when I get busy, I wld be stressed easily and the typical me, wld produce such short tempers.. so ya..

So if you see me very stress, best not to mess ard with me ya, or else you wld be "bitten"..

And if you koe me well enuf, when I do a certain thingy, I wld make it as perfect as it can be, becos I'm simply a perfectionist.. so if it doesnt meet my standard, what do you think I will do? I'll leave it up to your imagination *grinz*

Fortunately I got my bro, Andrew, who never fails to make me laugh despite all my griefs that I'm feeding him rite now on MSN.. hahax.. thanx bro! =)

Ok.. but I'm still feeling angry.. dun koe why.. Got to run to achieve all the things.. I dun koe how am I going to do it within 2 days, but I try.. worst come to worst, I just give up.

A world of coincidence!

Well.. this is not exactly today's post lahx.. its just I tot of something funny and thought of sharing with you readers.. =)

Anyway, this is supposed to be Sun (24/6) post.. so ya.. so here is a slight continuation..

Was with family on Sun after my church music practice, and was on the way to Suntec City from Citylink.. then we were at the entrance of the convention centre.. then suddenly a gal came by and approached me.. She looked familiar..

I rejected her becos I roughly koe wat she is up too.. then she like said, "its ok.. just choose one".. Then I stopped and asked her whether is she the person I tot she is.. And surprisingly, she said, "ya.. how I koe?".. Then I answered her, "I your insurance client, how come I dun koe?"..

Then she was like "oh yah.. sorry sorry.. really sorry leh..".. I was like "its ok..".. then soon, another surprise came.. another familiar face appeared.. its none other than my former sgt during my RP course (who is also one of my favourite and the best sgt in my course), Goh Kah Xian..

I was like totally surprised lahx.. Kah Xian actually told my insurance agent (when she asked how come he koes me as well) that I was his trainee when in NS.. So ya.. its a small world huh, but a pleasant surprise though! =)

Then its fast forward to today (Wed - 27/6).. Today at work went quite smoothly lahx.. no hiccups and that is a good thing..

Ok lahx.. cant chat further.. need to get back to my production work.. so ya..

Of great food & company!

Ok ppl.. this wkend is like I eat non-stop, no wonder I put on another kilogram *eeks*..

Here is a brief lowdown..

Saturday (23/6)

After church, went for my church Anniversary mtg and thank God for Christina, that she has agreed to lighten my load by taking the role of the publicity person.. hahax.. gambate Christina! =)

Ok.. this is my 2nd time in the month eating Ben & Jerry! I just had one serving of it like last Sun (17/6).. so ya.. I juz can't get enuf of Ben & Jerry lah..

You maybe wondering how come I was at Dempsy Road? This is becos after church, Tjow called me to like whether want to join them at Dempsy Road to just chill out?

I was like ok loh.. becos Dempsy Road is juz a nice place lahx.. So ya.. Eating ice cream just made me very happy.. so ya.. I actually forgotten all my worries away..

And I got the shock of my life.. Tjow wanted me to like perform in front of the crowd at the Ben & Jerry's place, as there was a small synthesizer.. so ya.. I didn't want to embarass myself, but Tjow seemed very determined to do it.. so you shld have see how I was like begging him not to do it.. Just thinking of it really puts a smile on my face.. so ya.. I'm super stress sia tat nite.. Thank God that Tjow didnt do it, or else I dun koe where to hide my face liaox..

But ya.. I just love tha ambience there, and the ice-cream.. but wats most is the company of friends who was there.. so ya.. Thank you one and all for making my Saturday nite so fun! =).. It was truly an unforgetable nite! =)

Sunday (24/6)

Driving this morning was ok.. In fact, I enjoyed it so much.. no stress somemore.. I tot the Malay instructor was good.. in fact, this instructor which took me on this day is like the BEST lahx.. I wanted to attach to him for my Sunday lessons, but he said that he dun work on Sundays.. so ya.. He is really a good instructor.. At one pt, he even on his radio, so as to reduce my stress from driving bahx.. =).. This kind of instructor where to find? His instructions and method of driving were very clear and precise.. haix.. I think if he teach me, I sure pass one.. so ya..

(Saying of which, I have not started studying my advance theory.. nxt mth is my test liaox.. die.. but long time.. still got time to study.. I think? hahax..)

This day was spent on eating again.. except this time is with family.. Went to Kuishibo @ Suntec for my dad's pre-birthday dinner, as well as also belated Father's day dinner.. so ya.. =)

Well.. since I'm a working adult already, and this is a treat for my dad, I decided to pay the bulk of it..

And the spread is really good.. considering its $39.80++ per person.. so ya.. And there is of course unagi.. My favourite lah.. the Unagi on this sushi is much better, than the one that is the whole piece and put there for ppl to take.. so ya..

One of the must-eats there is the Snow Crab.. the snow crab is similar to the flower crab, but there is much more "flesh" than the flower crab.. its quite shiok.. but of course, there was only a limit I can eat.. so ya..

Being the playful me, I decided to take a photo of me (making the legs as my moustache) doing some tricks with the snow crab's legs! hahax.. =P

Believe it or not.. the photo you see on the left is actually a soup!

This soup is special.. Its served with a wedge of lime. You are supposed to squeeze it into the soup. Inside the soup are 1 prawn, 1 shitake mushroom, and a gingko nut. The soup is really tasty with a hint of lime!

The soup has a slight miso taste, but then its not totally miso base.. its like a clear broth soup.. so ya..

The time came where I really cannot eat anymore, and had to settle with desserts! So ya.. this was my dessert platter.. the yoghurt is really shiok lahx.. I actually ate 2 cups! =)

Monday (23/6)

Well.. had a tough day at work today..

Its not only the Monday blues, but its also some stuff problems, which my boss and I had a hard time solving them..

Had a chat with the staffs involved, but dun koe whether it wld help, becos I'm so afraid that the staff wld sabotage or make things difficult for me.. so ya..

My boss handled it all himself (first time I see him so angry!), so I dun koe whether the staff involve wld take it out on me.. well.. lets take one step at a time lahx..

Then of course, I dun koe wat happen to me.. When I first came home, I actually had butter fingers, and drop my 7 year old porcelin cup which I got from Australia (when I was juz 13 yrs old), and it broke..
As a result, I got quite a small deep cut on the sole of my feet, and blood juz flowed down like nobody's business.. Managed to stop the bleeding after a while, but ya.. wonder wats wrong with me today??

Then came online, actually want to do my Youth Camp Publicity one.. but then I felt this blogpost more impt, so I blog..

And juz as I got a bit bored, I surfed websites, and got onto Sidney's blog.. and just then, he called, and we chatted for 30 mins.. thanx bro! That short 30 mins even though its quite lame conversation, but it help to chase my blues and stress away! It's always enjoyable to chat with ya, even though you always suan me.. Bros forever ya =)

Then went I came online, Tjow was in as well, and he refused to tell me why he is so happy.. and he was so bad.. asked me to call his wife to ask him why he is so happy.. I was like eh... dun want to disturb lahx.. also quite lazy as well.. hahax..

Then Tjow also told me that he wld be the Chairman for Church Camp 2008, and I as usual, when he is in, he wld always "pull me in" and I was like expecting only publicity, but he said that there is more.. so ya.. I dun koe wat, but I'm sure scared of the decision! I got a gut feeling that its something which is very great [in fact too great for me to handle and could ever imagine!] (which I shall not say it, juz in case, gave Tjow the idea when its actually not.. becos this bro of mine, is very determined one.. once you say something and he think its good, he wld take it one!.. so ya.. on the safe side, better not say juz in case it give him some crafty ideas!)

A shoutout!

Well ppl.. I koe you ppl must be complaining or wondering, how come this avid blogger is not blogging at all.. rite.. hahax.. koe you can't survive 1 day without my updates! hahax.. =P

Anyway, the past few days has been to work and then come home to edit my church camp post presentation video using Pinnacle Studio (which was my 23rd birthday present this year, courtesy of my church mates!) =)..

Have been exploring and using the software.. its great I tell you.. so ya..

And since this wk was low production, therefore I have to try to finish EVERYTHING by this week, becos deadline is 7 July.. so ya..

And if you have counted how many hours I have spent on this video, you can count it as 1 min of the final finish product is 1 hr of hard work putting in..

Its hard work becos I have to cut the videos, and well as add sound effects and subtitles.. so ya.. its really tiring at work, becos I did not have enuf sleep the nite before.. so ya..

But well.. I'm almost done.. so that's a good sign (becos I started at abt 6pm this evening, and only until now, I'm done!.. so its abt 3 hrs liaox..).

Ok lah.. gonna binge this wkend, becos going to Kuishinbo @ Suntec to celebrate my dad's birthday as well as also having a belated Father's Day dinner.. so ya.. just hope my weight doesn't go up? hahax.. =P

Saying of which, my brother, Matt Tjow has asked me the recommendation of Pearl River Palace Restaurant @ Suntec for his father-in-law Father's Day dinner (becos I been to it quite a no. of times liaox mahx).. so ya.. and I'm so happy that he said that its good.. hahax.. =)

Ok.. gtg and get back to my video editing liaox.. wonder wat time I would sleep tonite.. hmm..

House-Blessing @ the Chens!

Well.. I koe that I have not blog for so long.. ppl have been complaining liaox..

Well.. All I can say is that for the past few days at work, it was totally awful, becos I enjoyed myself at church camp so much that I dun feel like going back to work lahx.. I'm serious!..

Anyway, the work week was short and it was fine.. (Thank God!)..

Yesterday was church.. the skit for Father's Day went on unexpectedly smooth (becos during the rehearsal, its like so messy and all can't get their parts rite and stuff!).. Though I'm the director for the skit, I still have to act, becos its like the person who acted the role came late, and didnt really attended the full rehearsal.. so ya.. so not very good to go up and act, or else last min mess up the whole thing how? so ya..
Even Jaslyn was also shocked at how smooth the skit went.. so ya.. so what can I say? To God be ALL glory!

Today was church worship practice at church (I'm leading next week @ Youth lahx), then after that, went over to Ryan & Catherine's Chen hse for house-blessing.. Their house is super nicely furnished lahx, and money also very nice.. Shall not disclose the amt.. so ya.. *sheepish grin*

Had quite a fair bit of fun there.. so ya.. its always a pleasure to be in the company of my church friends.. I think I'm even closer to them than my working collegues whom I like see everyday.. so ya.. I dun koe why.. haix.. but oh well...

Then Ashley asked me whether I want to join them to go Brisbane free & easy at end of this yr.. I said I want to, but then I have to see my leave balance lohx.. so ya.. but in the meantime, I'm gonna save up.. so its lesser or no more shopping for me for the next few mths, and saving up for my trip to Brisbane.. so ya.. =).. woohoo! Finally another holiday at the end of year!! =)

I actually so wanted to do my video production rather than this blog, becos its like I'm super short of time to complete it.. before 7 july have to finish.. so you say I stress or not? I only got next wk to do, becos its low production week lahx.. so ya..

But oh well.. I'm falling asleep liaox.. eyes getting heavier by the minute.. so ya.. so I guess I need to turn in.. long day tml at work and come home, need to do the video thingy.. haix.. I wonder when is my next blogpost entry? hmm.. we shall see ya.. =)

Church Camp 2007 was FUN!!

Well ppl.. I koe this is super late.. but then its better late than never rite.. so ya.. for once, I have put my blogpost on top of my video production.. hahax.. but this wld be a "chop chop" one, becos I got tons of things to achieve.. so ya..

This is my team in camp, Team Joy.. its the so called "zou kang" group, becos everyone of us is heavily involved in the camp in one way or another.. so ya.. I of course was the camera-man.. so that explains why I'm inside rite =)

And there were "white" ppl too, as they are acting in a mime skit during talent nite.. so ya.. so that explains the "geisha-lookalikes"!

Mime is the theme for this year's Talent Nite @ Church Camp.. and it was fun I tell you.. its like it all lies in the expression of your face and actions (sometimes its so exaggerated that its really funny lahx!)

Doing a mime is not as easy as you have thought it to be.. you have to be very precise in your actions, and it must be so clear cut, that the ppl who are viewing your skit must koe wat you are talking.. so its really challenging lahx! =)

Cam-whoring is like one of the best things that can happen when you are overseas, of course not forgetting my first love, shopping!!

And when I'm in front of the camera (be it video or digital camera), somehow the crazy side of me would just appear and outrageous poses would juz appear, like what you see on the right lahx! Its the result of my craziness!! hahax.. You would never expect me to so kawaii rite =)

I think it fits me to a T! I'm serious.. the cutting of the T-shirt (you see on the left), as well as the comfort factor simply owns big time manx!

I actually had a room-mate with me (sleeping in the same room as me in the hotel), but he was not in.. so ya.. so I tot to save myself from all the embarassment (though I koe he would read my blog and then laugh to himself), I would only do it when he is not ard.. and thank God he is not lahx, or else, I would juz die of embarassment!

Well.. but on a serious note, this Camp is abt letting go of all you have and let God take over.. so ya..

Was greatly ministered spiritually as well as emotionally.. God apparently was present at every sermon session.. and sometimes whilst praying, I would just tear.. I dun koe why..

Then there was this day when the speaker asks for anyone who wants to go up to the Altar for prayer.. I koe I have something to be prayed for, but I just lack the courage to do so.. but somehow suddenly, I dun koe why.. I just walked up like that in front of the Altar and just wept.. its really weird.. even till now, I dun really understand why..

Then some of the Youths went up for prayer as well, and surprisingly, Ashley, actually got a vision from God for the Youths.. so ya..

But that was not the main thing.. The main thing is that some of my Youths actually received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and this is so coolz lahx.. so ya..

Well.. to end up this blogpost (which I spend 45 mins on), I would just like to say that this camp is one of those events of the year which is permantly etched in my brain lahx.. so ya.. Just hope that the things I experienced during this camp is not a one-time all thing, or a spritual high period, but pray that this is a permanent feature of me lahx.. so ya..
I koe I'm getting all spiritual and all, but well.. I juz can't contain all the joy rite.. so ya..

2 days...

2 days to my church camp.. Woohoo ~

I have waited for this day like for 2 years liaox, and finally the day is here!.. didnt go for church camp becos its NS for me mahx..

Moreover, I'm gonna do a mega production for the camp, so its like its gonna be fun but tiring.. I juz hope I dun burn out lohx.. =)

I was like thinking how come the days pass so slow lohx.. Even today I tot its like Saturday liaox.. hahax..

Yesterday at work left office at 10.30pm, becos of my usual paperwork lohx.. so ya.. but other than that, nothing really much happens..

In the meantime, I juz cant wait for Church Camp to start! =)

Officially sick!

Well ppl.. after mths of toiling and working in my company, I finally got a 0.5 day MC.. but before you start accusing me of chao keng-ing, look here before you point your finger at me..

I was really sick.. becos its like I've got a on-and-off headache that just wldn't go away.. wanted to see my company doctor yesterday, but I gave up in the end, becos its like I tot I can control..

Today was the final straw.. My headache I think has becoming a slight migrane, and its totally painful lahx..

Went to see the company doctor and he actually wanted to give me 1 day MC, but then its like already half a day already.. so he had to give me half day MC instead of the normal 1 day..

So its like I told my boss, and he like not very happy, becos its like not enuf ppl and still MC.. well.. as I was going home, I SMSed my boss abt the reason why I take MC today instead of tml or the day after, where production is not so high.. so ya..

Well.. you think I want to take MC meh? I didnt want to ok, becos this wld mean that I have to let my boss oversee the production till late today (which I dun wish to impose on my boss), and also lose a bit of my OT money ok.. but I guess that God says I need rest, so thats why lahx..

The past 2 days has been hectic.. Just last Monday (4/6), I stayed office till 2330 hrs, and yesterday (5/6), I stayed office till 2230 hrs.. and then by the time I sleep on these 2 days, its like already 0000 hrs and wake up at 0600 hrs.. this is like totally torturing lahx.. Guess my body just dun have the necessary immunity to fight it lohx..

Even now as I write this blog, I also dun really feel well lohx.. I still have the very satiated feeling in my tummy, and its like my appetite is not very good.. haix.. Guess after I took the medicine, its worst.. I also dun koe how..

This weekend is church camp already.. I dun want to fall sick.. its like I got lots of things to achieve during camp.. and now, I'm sick.. haix.. I seriously need to get well fast! Wonder whether is this a spiritual attack? I dun koe.. but watever it is, I wanna get well soon.. so ya..

Ok lahx.. think I dun want to waste so much time on this blog liaox.. need to do a bit more stuff before I start to pack for my church camp.. or else dun koe when I have the time.. haix.. =(

Ppl! Its official! I just love shopping! I bought a lot of stuff today ok.. so here are the details..

Frankly speaking, I took close to 15 mins to choose this t-shirt.. becos its like I like the colour of some of the t-shirts, but the words on the t-shirts were simply too provocative (you koe wat I mean if you are a newurbanmale fan or have stepped into the shop before!).. so I decided to give that a miss.. and just as I was about to give up finding the right t-shirt, I saw this shirt, and it was like quite nice.. white somemore.. my favourite colour! =).. so ya.. so I got this lahx..

Being a member of newurbanmale, I got this t-shirt at 10% off the price of the t-shirt.. so ya.. so its like quite worth it.. I got the members' discount card, so might as well use lohx..

I actually wanted something different (as in everytime I in newurbanmale, I would get t-shirts, and then the polo tees caught my eye, but then its like so plain.. colours were my kind of colour, but its simply too expensive.. $69.90 for just 1 polo t-shirt lahx.. totally not worth it.. so ya.. If I were to buy the polo tee, I rather get another party tank which is only $59.90.. so ya.. so that's why I gave it a miss lahx!

Well well.. this is my aim of my shopping trip today, and I'm proud to announce that I finally got what I wanted!.. Its none other than the Onitsuka Tiger sneakers..

It was my last stop of shopping, and its like already 2100 hrs, but thank God that the store @ Wheelock (store name is "star three sixty") is not closed yet.. so ya..

After 10 mins in the store, I saw a few of my favourites and tried on them.. my optimal sizes they dun have (including the pair that you see in the photo).. so guess I have to make do with the biggest size they have.. and thank God, it fits perfectly.. so ya.. and I can safely tell you that this shoe is worth EVERY cent that I pay (which is $169.00), becos its like super comfortable lahx..

This shoe has some small holes punched on the shoe, so that it reduces heat friction inside the shoe.. so ya.. Super comfortable lahx.. I got the marathon series, so probably that's why it needs to be so comfortable.. so ya..
But $169 is like the most expensive shoes already.. dun think there is anything higher than $169.. so ya..

Well.. all in all, I have a very fruitful shopping trip today.. at least I got what I wanted in a matter of 4 hrs! =)

One of the main reasons why I purchase so many things today, is becos of my church camp next Sun (10/6).. gonna go to camp with all these lahx.. so ya.. =).. so if you gonna go camp, you wld see my almost new wardrobe lohx =).. so those of you going to camp, anticipate ya! =)

Ok lahx.. after a hard day's work, I need to rest liaox.. The next 3 days is gonna be tough, becos high production.. so ya.. Just hope I can cope well..

This is the thing that worries me now: When can I pack my church camp stuff? I dun have time next week! Yeeks!! I will see how.. Just hope I one day have at least 2-3 hrs free time, then can liaox.. but now, the problem is when is that one day? *scratches head*

Well.. the funny thing is that driving this morning initially was a breeze (becos no car mahx), but then as the day went by, more cars started to appear, and I very kan-cheong.. and moreover, stop on slopes and all (which I'm very weak in, becos I take very long to move off on slope! scared lan-ga mahx!)..

Now my sharp bends in circuit is chicken feet! Its the road which is killing me.. So its like today I go thru 4 test routes in Ubi area, and the worst I experience today was route 2, becos its like on slope, which is my weakness lahx..

Then today I requested my instructor to teach me how to do 3 point turn, and I tell you, it takes a lot of skill! I only manage to do it only 40%.. can't control the clutch properly.. so ya.. but wats comforting is that 3 point turns is NOT tested.. so ya.. but now, at least I can put my mind at rest, in a way that I now koe a bit of 3 point turns.. so ya.. =)

That pretty wraps up my morning.. Gonna do some retail therapy later.. will blog more if I reach home early, if not, you have to wait lohx.. =)

Work was tiring..

Well today.. my senior operator came back and somewhat took over a bit of my job..

My boss and executive is not here, and thank God that there were no pressing issues to be decided, or else I think I would just die..

But I got 1 thing that really took half a day away!! I was busy emailing ppl and stuff.. its really by God's grace that I manage to get all these done, becos its like a lot of work emailing different ppl.. so ya..

Then work juz went on, but its like my body juz can't function well.. its like I'm totally exhausted lahx..

So many things I wanna achieve, but then so little strength to do it.. haix.. =(

And ppl, I got so short memory, that for 4 times today, I tot today was Monday! isn't that bad? my goodness!

Came home after work and came online to do some of my miscelleous stuff.. then my bro, Sidney, MSNed me and he said he need some help in his attire.. so ya.. so being a very fashion conscious me, I gave him my 2 cents worth.. but in the end, he did not heed my advice.. haix.. so I guess I got very different fashion taste from him lohx..
And of course, Sidney didnt only to ask me to MSN him abt my advice, but also call him.. and his old self started again.. once he start talking, he can't stop! So as you can guess it, he disgress for a while lohx.. hahax.. but its always a joy to talk to him on the phone.. Somehow, I dun koe; when I tok to him on the phone, my stress for the day somehow disappears!.. Weird huh..

And I "caught" him saying that he likes newurbanmale stuff, becos last time, I remember he told me that he wont want to step into newurbanmale, and as a matter of fact, he finds newurbanmale very "alternative".. so ya.. and now, look who's talking? hahax.. Caught you there bro.. =P

And today, I confirm with some of my working colleagues to go for dinner next Sat (9/6) at some German Restaurant in Siglap.. so ya.. apparently, this is the FIRST time that I'm going out with them.. so ya.. and we 4 got along very well, becos we had tea together for like the past 2 mths.. and we built rapport with each other lahx.. so ya.. we can click lahx.. and we machiam like a bunch of old friends liaox lohx!.. So ya.. will tell you more when the dinner happened nxt week ya.. in the meantime, can't wait for it to happen loh! =)

Wat's best is that the next day, Sunday (10/6), I'm going for church camp.. woohoo.. =)

Ok lah.. I gtg liaox.. tml I have another long day.. working in morning, and after church, I got a Father's Day Skit to direct, and also a Youth Camp mtg after that..
Just hope that I get enuf sleep lohx!..
