The long-awaited photocard licence!
Yes.. after weeks of waiting, I've received my photocard licence on Fri (27/12). When my mum called me, my day was like brightened up lahx.. hahax..
Work suddenly seemed not tiring at all.. hahax.. the power of my licence..
But you koe wat this means? This means that my hands are so itchy that I want to own a car of my own..
Have been looking around, and enquiry about the price.. and after much consideration, my aim is to get a car by end 2008. Let's see whether I can save this much lohx.. so I guess my personal expenditure has to be real cut down to the max.. but of course, I would not cut my own expenditure until I die of hunger or something.. Its just that probably I would do lesser shopping.. so ya..
And you all must be wondering what kind of car I'm considering to buy.. ha.. definately NOT a luxury car.. so ya.. Its either a Toyota Vios 1.5E Manual, or a Mitsubishi Lancer GRX 1.6 Manual.. so ya..
People has been advising me to take a manual car, so that it is a little easier on my pocket, in terms of petrol.. so ya..
But then again, I have to save enough money, so that I don't need to take so much loan from bank, or else, jialat..
A lot of ppl (namely, Tjow, Carlise & my brother, Sidney) have been advising me not to rush into buying a car becos its a long-term liability, so tat's why I'm like heeding their advice.. but by end 2008, I should have save enuf to sustain a car of my own.. By then, I would think I would forget my main skills (becos never drive for long mahx, so may not be able to remember the skills.. so may have to go for refresher course.. unless someone is so kind to let me drive their car as and when I meet the person.. *hint hint*.. you koe who you are! =P)..
Yesterday felt super tired at church.. I dun koe why.. so didnt join the Youths at prata supper after church.. so ya..
Yesterday was also Xinyi and Xiuhua's baptism at church.. Its amazing that such a small space can do such a baptism in church.. way to go man! hahax.. but after they were baptised and sang, "Shine Jesus Shine", its like I'm suddenly felt overwhelmed with emotions and almost wanted to tear but didn't.. I dun koe why.. I think I was overjoyed for both of them ba! =)
Other than that, I don't think I have anything else to blog about.. except that the CNY festival is drawing nearer, and this means I will have a somewhat a slight makeover.. I will dye my hair this time again (yes, its a yearly affair!), as well as buying some CNY new clothes.. Have already budgetted for this already, so no problem! =)
So I guess it would be a shopping mth for me as well, for both food and clothes!
So later I would be going down to Suntec City to make FULL payment for my family's CNY reunion dinner at Pearl River Palace Restaurant.. its really expensive manx.. but becos this is a yearly thing and its moreover my family, so that's why I decided to give them a treat.. so ya..
Anyway, this is the menu that we are having for CNY dinner..
Yu Sheng with Norwegian Salmon and Gold Foil
Roasted Suckling Pig Combination
Braised Shark’s Fin with Crabmeat and Roe
Sautéed Prawns with Walnut served in Golden Nest
Baked Cod Fish with Wasabi-Mayo Sauce
Braised Ee-Fu Noodles with Enoki Mushrooms and Abalone Sauce
Glutinous Rice Dumpling served in Red Bean Cream
Looks good, which also explains the hefty price that I have to pay for this CNY menu.. will not divulge the menu price, but all I can say is that its really expensive.. so ya..
Ok lah.. gtg and do other stuff liaox..

Happy Holidays!!
Ok ppl! I had the most enjoyable 2 weeks man! What I can say is that my 10 days of leave from work is really fully well-spent.. so ya.. Its Youth Camp and then Bintan Trip then my mum's birthday cum Christmas dinner.. man.. what more could I ask for?
Anyway, enjoy the photos in this blog ya.. Of course, there are more photos, but the photos here are actually among the best photos I've taken.. so ya.. Enjoy ya =).. so here goes..
Generation Joshua's Youth Camp 2007 @ BB Campus (16 Dec 07 - 19 Dec 07)
** Photo on left: GenJosh Youths attending GJ Youth Camp 2007!
I must say that I'm so looking forward for Youth Camp this year, becos its like its after so long that I can attend a Youth Camp proper.. so ya..
This yr's camp was incredibly small (according to Jaslyn, its the smallest group we had so far), but God was indeed omnipresent throughout the camp, because everytime we had outdoor activites, the weather would be nice, clear and not too hot as well..
Not only did God worked wonders in the weather part, but its also our spiritual lives as well.. Especially me.. Words just can't describe how I felt at that point in time..
Its just that God did spoke to me about certain issues and all.. and for the FIRST time, I actually knelt down during worship and just wept, because God indeed taught me a painful lesson.. It all started during the "Spiritual Dryness" session where Tjow was the facilitator for the session and something did prompt me to go up for ministry and ya.. When I was there, God spoke to me through Tjow and he prayed for me, and my "floodgates" just opened like that.. never in my whole life did I cry so much.. I just wept and wept.. so ya..
I shall not elaborate more on this, because this is quite personal.. so ya.. but all I can say is that God is indeed very good and I've become a changed man after the camp.. I really hope that I can remain this way and not go back to my old ways.. so ya.. I shall persevere!
** Photo on right: Where boys become err.. men?
Talent nite was among the coolest event so far! In OCC GJ's Youth Camp history, never did we had a combined talent nite production, but this year, it did happened! And I tell you.. its super funny, and its so good, that the parents (who were present under our invitation for the BBQ) actually requested an encore to be done during the actual combined service in church itself.. so ya..
Its really enjoyable lah! Kudos to PK who wrote the main script/poem for this talent nite.. he is the GJ's Shakespear.. wahahaha.. =P
The Bintan Experience @ Bintan Lagoon Resort, Bintan (20 Dec 07 - 23 Dec 07)
Ok.. this is one of the best holidays that I've have so far.. so ya.. Really enjoyed myself to the max and wats new man.. I cam-whored! hahax.. enjoy the pics and pls dun puke ok.. I know I handsome.. you just need to drool but dun need to puke.. pls have some courtesy ok.. =P *grinz*
** Photo on left: Day 1 - BBQ by the Cempaka Villa 49! Look, our food is over there!
Travelling there was ok, but not for some passengers on the ferry, becos apparently the Caucasian women beside me was just puking throughout the journey, and sitting beside her was a torture..
You must have think why I didn't move my butt off the seat to sit somewhere, but the problem is that the ferry is so full that no extra seats were available..
Yes, I do agree the sea (when we went there), was really very choppy! But thank God I was able to control my sea-sickness.. but any longer, I may have puke a bit, but generally I'm still okay with it..
** Photo on right: Day 1 - The gastronomic experience!
Once we were at the Bintan Ferry Terminal, we were then whisked off in the resort's shuttle bus to the resort, and that journey took us like 15-20 mins..
Soon we reached the resort and we waited like for about an hour before we could check in to our villa.. so ya..
Whilst waiting, we cam-whore, and Alvin was named the official photographer for the trip, and he went on snapping photos just like an avid professional photographer..
** Photo on left: Day 1 - Food on the grill.. charboiled to perfection...
When we checked in the villa, we were amazed to find our own buggy as well as the villa was really huge! It really looked like our own house..
There was a master room with a queen-size bed, and 2 single rooms with a single bed each.. Alvin and I occupied the single rooms, whilst Ashley, Nat & Andrew occupied the master room.. so ya.. its totally way cool lah..
Then we started to unpack and soon.. we got ready for our BBQ dinner!
** Photo on right: Day 1 - The "atas" (malay for high-class) dessert, and we call it the mushy mellow mudslide!
We had our BBQ on the first nite and thank God for the fine weather.. we actually managed to BBQ the whole nite WITHOUT a single drop of rain falling from the sky, though it was raining cats and dogs when we first came to Bintan..
We had lots of fun cooking our food as well as just talking crap.. and wow.. even a very personal sharing session that happened after the dinner.. we certainly got to know each other more (especially Alvin *grinz*).. and its really a good time of guys bonding..
** Photo on left: Day 2 - The spread that I'm having for continental breakfast
Waking up the next morning for breakfast is definately an easy feat for us, becos we have enough sleep.. ha.. and the timing there is 1 hour behind Singapore, so the breakfast timing were perfect!
** Photo on right: Day 2 - My yoghurt for breakfast
The breakfast spread was really good.. and when I say good, its really good..
Of course some stuff really cannot make it, becos they were either not fresh or not good enough (compared to Singapore of course), but the spread is really good.. we had like food from Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian and English.. so ya..
** Photo on left: Day 2 - The guys @ breakfast.. Andrew was the camera-man..
This is one of the few times which I actualy can really enjoy my breakfast totally!
The other times for the past few years (which is esp. during church camps when I actually had a good continental breakfast), were like quite rush, so didn't really have time to like go and have a good meal..
Everyone I can see really did enjoy their breakfast.. and of course a guru like me, what more can I ask for! =)
** Photo on right: Day 2 - Andrew & me having breakfast
And of course, with me around, who would escape my camera.. ha.. we guys (or was it just me) just loves cam-whoring? hahax..
I would think my brother, Andrew, also loves cam-whoring, but ok.. maybe I'm the most extensive side one lah.. but who cares man! This is my camera! =)
We had a quite heavy breakfast, and because of this, the lunches for all the days we've been in Bintan was not taken at all, becos its like we were so full..
So we actually only ate 2 meals a day, so maybe it helped in cutting down our calories.. wahaha..
** Photo on left: Day 2 - The guys @ beach.. just getting ready to body-surf..
After breakfast, we went to the beach (its been a while since I went to the beach!)..
And we tried something new at the beach, and that is body-surfing.. I tell you.. this has got to be the most happening sport that I did! Its really cool!
Riding the waves (which were quite big) and then if you actually ride it correctly, it actually brings you to the shore of the beach.. and this is so uber cool! (yes! Under the influence of PK in Youth Camp, I finally mouthed the word, uber!.. hahax.)
** Photo on right: Day 2 - Cam-whoring me (without my shades)
And believe it or not.. we actually played it the whole afternoon.. but we got quite tired after a while, so we returned the body-surf boards and proceeded to suntan..
Just as we are about to start suntanning, the lifeguards asked us whether we want to play soccer.. and you koe me.. soccer is one of my hated sports (sorry, soccer fans.. but its just me!).. so Andrew, Nat, Ashley and Alvin went on to play, whilst I just sit there and enjoy the sea breeze..
** Photo on left: Day 2 - Cam-whoring me (with my shades)
But then it started to become a little wee bit boring.. So me being the very vain one (and yes, I don't deny it), I actually cam-whored, and there, it started to fill up the memory of my camera's 2GB SD card.. hahax..
And I cam-whored for like about 30 mins.. I koe its a bit too much, but I cldn't resist it.. I love my tanned self..
Am I being self-loved? I don't know! But I think I just fall in love with myself.. (eh, not that kind of love, but its just ya koe..)
** Photo on right: Day 2 - The Bintan beach coastline..
And the beach coastline was like so pretty and its not a normal sight to like see something like the Bintan coastline, where its tremendously beautiful!
So ya.. the waters were like ship-free as well.. whereas if you go to Sentosa, you would like see ships "parking" here and there.. so ya..
But this coastline is totally clear.. so ya.. its really beautiful.. actually, if I could spend my whole life on this beach, I would probably would, or should I say die in Bintan beach (look, I'm not being morbid here, but its a fact!).. its real good! =)
** Photo on left: Day 3 - My Nasi Lemak for breakfast..
Well.. Day 3 we had a more "atas" place/seats for breakfast.. we like got a seat supposed for 6 ppl (where we only had 5).. so ya..
Breakfast this day is like I tried whatever I didn't tried before the previous day over breakfast..
The Nasi Lemak you see here is not as nice as Malaysia's.. but ya.. but its quite good lah.. the sambal bilis is real hot but shiok.. so if you like hot stuff, take more sambal bilis, but its hot I tell you!
** Photo on right: Day 3 - Cam-whoring again..
After that, we actually went to the swimming pool to play with the slide (and yes.. its super fun! and we are overgrown kids, but we didnt care!)..
But after the swimming pool, Ash was like saying not good enuf, so he suggested we go to the beach again..
** Photo on left: Day 3 - And again (cam-whoring that is)..
I agreed but on 1 condition.. I won't suntan.. and I just sit there and enjoy the breeze and probably sleep the afternoon away..
And suddenly like only Ash & Andrew were suntanning their way.. Alvin, Nat & myself were like cooping ourselves under the shelter, becos once the sun rays shine on the sunburnt part, its real painful!
** Photo on right: Day 3 - Freedom by the beach..
And becos we were sunburnt on Day 2, sleeping at nite became much of a chore to all of us.. Turning and tossing on the bed seems to be like the most painful thing in the world!
And yes.. for Day 2, all of us actually didn't sleep over 2200 hrs, becos we were feeling very drained from all the sun-tanning, and thus, we slept early.. so ya.. quite sad but sadly, that's the truth!
** Photo on left: Day 3 - Me machiam look like NUM ambassador.. Look how big is my smile.. =P
And becos I got bored after a while, I actually like went to cam-whore again, and this is real extensive cam-whore stuff..
I walked all the way to the sea to cam-whore.. and surprisingly, I've got some real cam-whore photos.. and yes, I'm NOT shy to admit it! =P
** Photo on right: Day 3 - Another shot at cam-whoring.. Actually, this is my BEST cam-whore photo yet..
Tried all sorts of cam-whoring positions, and I like the one you see on the right the best..
I don't know what gave me the inspiration to do so.. hahax.. But ya.. though my skin was feeling very painful, I still want to cam-whore.. so ya..
** Photo on left: Day 3 - I like the previous cam-whore photo so much that I've decided to do another one! =)
And I'm actually not the only one who is like cam-whoring.. Surprisingly, Alvin joined in as well.. so ya..
So ya.. we are the cam-whore twins.. but wats Alvin compared to me? Ha.. I'm the cam-whore king man.. I think only Natasha can only compete with me lah.. she is the uber (and yes.. I said "uber" again!) cam-whore queen.. I just can't reach the stage, but I will try.. wahahaha..
** Photo on right: Day 3 - The NUM kid.. *grinz*
Of course, various poses were being taught of me so that my cam-whore photo would look perfect (like the one you see the left!).. so ya..
But dun I look like BHB? hahax.. I don't care.. I'm gonna so make my camera lens break.. hahax.. (ok.. I think I shall stop typing rubbish.. I also dun koe wat I type also.. hahax =P)
** Photo on left: Day 3 - I'm driving the buggy.. so fun.. I could drive the buggy the whole day if you give me the chance too! =)
And driving the buggy is real cool lah! It feels like driving the real car (without the power-steering)..
And you would be pleased to koe that I actually mastered my 3 point turn on this buggy.. hahax.. I previously didnt really koe how to do a 3 point turn, but ya..
Of course I cannot say that I can do it perfect.. but its good enuf lahx! =)
And once you drive on the buggy, you can't stop, becos its like so addictive, until the pt that we are taking turns to drive the buggy.. hahax.. it really feels like you are driving a car, except no clutch and gear.. hahax..
Anyway, on Day 4, didn't took photos becos nothing much to take.. its quite saddening to like see our 4D3N holiday in Bintan just ended like that.. its really great fun and we 5 guys had a great time of bonding!.. what a way to end the year with a bang!
To all my Bintan holiday kakkis (Ash, Nat, Andrew, Alvin), let's do it again sometime soon ok! =).. I'm already missing the beach and the villas there.. but then pls.. DUN bring so much food.. I dun want to have the meatiest spaghetti that I have eaten in my whole life.. hahax.. I've got a phobia of meat already (until now as well!).. so ya..
Thank YOU guys for being part of my Bintan experience, and the money was indeed well-spent, but the fellowship between us guys just got a whole lot better.. so thank YOU once again! =)
The Christmas Eve cum my mum's birthday dinner @ Fairmont Singapore (formally known as Raffles The Plaza Hotel, Singapore)(24 Dec 07)
** Photo on right: The traditional family photo.. at the count of three everyone.. 1.. 2.. 3.. aww...
Ok.. not exactly when I'm so conscious of my looks, that I actually went to a hotel to have my Christmas Eve dinner.. so ya..
So actually, I did applied some face moisturiser as well as a thick layer of aloe vera gel, so as to prevent my face from peeling!
** Photo on left: The Japanese platter.. Yummy!
The spread of the buffet is indeed good.. and judging by the price that we pay ($62++ per person), it had gotta be good!
And of course, what I can say is that my family really did enjoy the dinner, and that's good lah..
Of all the food I ate that nite, I actually enjoyed the sashimi the best! It was real juicy, thick and chewy.. It was so good that I had 3 servings! What do you think? =)
** Photo on right: Ok.. this is my FIRST time eating fresh oysters.. and I must say its a bit... eww?
And yes.. it was also the FIRST time where I had fresh RAW oysters and fresh RAW scallops.. I had to eat it to make my money worth.. hahax..
But I tell you.. It was ok, but not really my type, becos the raw-ness of the oysters and scallops were like ewww.. I can eat it but its just after 2 each, I stopped!
It could be due that I only squeeze lemon and and not adding tobasco sauce.. so ya.. but I tell you.. I would still eat it, but then probably one each and I will abstain it for the rest of the dinner..
But my dad loves it so much, but he has like kept it to the minimum becos he has high blood pressure, or else, he would like eat more.. hahax..
** Photo on left: My dad and me!
Then of course, how could we forget to take a father-and-son photo? hahax.. its only occasions like this that we both "cheng sui sui" (hokkien for dressing up), that we take photos.. hahax..
And of course, during Chinese New Year, we also do the same.. so ya.. =)
Just to side-track, this photo was taken by using my camera's manual function, Slow Syncho function with ISO 80.. well.. this is wat Alvin taught me during the Bintan trip, and it looks good rite or maybe its just the people in the photo looks good only.. probably you are referring to the one in the white and blue stripe long sleeve shirt? hahax.. =P
** Photo on right: The all-so-yummy signature durian pudding
And this durian pudding has got to be the best lahx.. No wonder they call it their signature durian pudding..
If you love durian, this is the one for you.. its really good.. its like bitter and all.. and its thick.. and you can actually eat the durian flesh.. oh my.. I'm just like wanna crave for it again lahx..
Everytime they bring out a new pot, it always finishes very fast.. so ya.. And the best part is that its not those very very sweet one.. oh man.. I'm craving for it again.. help!!!!
And yes.. I did regret to eat like only a bowl lahx.. I shld have eaten two or three bowls.. but I cldn't liaox.. its really good.. oh man!
** Photo on left: This is the NEW me after Bintan.. and I think I like my tanned look, compared to my previous.. how do you like me? Tanned or fair? I leave you to decide! =)
And yes.. being the very metro me (or shld I say vain), how could I forget to like take a photo of myself.. hahax.. I'll flood my MSN and Friendster with this photo.. hahax..
But anyway, I seriously had a very good time over my 10 days of leave.. its really well-spent.. every SINGLE minute of it as well!
Well.. I could only thank God for the blessings that he has given me over this 10 days.. though short, but I have lived life to the fullest!
Thank YOU all (esp. my church mates and my best kakkis lah.. you koe who you are!) for making my last 10 days so fulfilling, and ending the year with a smashing good time! All I can say is thank YOU again.. I would not have enjoyed myself so much if I have not known you.. Thank YOU for making a difference in my life as well! Kudos to all (you koe who you are!) =)
The tanned one,

Anyway, enjoy the photos in this blog ya.. Of course, there are more photos, but the photos here are actually among the best photos I've taken.. so ya.. Enjoy ya =).. so here goes..

A qualified driver!
Yes ppl! I have acquired my Class 3 driving licence, after like months of preparation.. It all started this year in February 2007.. and its Sunday lessons after Sundays..
So you know what this means? I can either choose to wake up late on Sundays, or pick up my Sunday jogging routine again, but I tell you.. jogging takes much effort to do so..
Anyway, here's my account of today..
This morning woke up at 0630 hrs, and then ate my breakfast, and whilst I was eating, I was praying fervently..
Then I reached the driving centre at like almost late.. Then I saw my car no, 196.. it was a familiar no.. I tot it was just some car which I have driven b4, but never did I expect to see one of my favourite instructors.. in fact, last time I even asked him whether he could take me for driving, but he said he don't work on Sundays (which I usually only do my lessons on Sundays)..
Then I got on the car, and when I told him my test was abt 2-3 hrs later, he was shocked initially, but he did clear most of my doubts, and brought me to 2 test routes.. I remembered all that he told me..
Then came the warm-up session.. it was a session which I had waited for about 30 mins to happen.. During that session, there was again some form of revision..
Then the moment came.. I went into this room where there was a short briefing conducted for all the candidates, and we are supposed to ballot for another candidate's group.. and I dun koe whether is it unfortunate of me, to actually kenna the first person to be chosen..
I knew my test route and I actually went to the noticebaord to see which is the route that I'm taking, and then suddenly I cldn't believe my eyes! I saw that my actual test route was actually one of the 2 test routes which I have practiced earlier in the day.. I took a closer look and still can't believe my eyes! Indeed God has all pre-planned for me..
With that, I prayed again and thanking Him that this is probably the test that he wanted me to pass.. I trusted in Him..
And then though I was the first who got chosen for the test route, but I was the LAST one to leave the examination room.. Apparently, the tester explained to me why he was late.. so ya.. And judging by how friendly is he, I could almost smell victory!
But all that could be just a show.. I can't be excited too much.. but along the way, he actually pointed out to me that I should do this and that and not wat I did..
And the surprising thing is that my parellel and vertical parking is near perfect.. this is one of those very few times which I actually manage to do so.. so ya.. And when I was on the slope, I did NOT even shiver an inch! It was perfect! In fact during the whole test, I was feeling at peace.. not even a single sense of anxiousness!
What he told me is all very minor.. but judging by how much he "guided" me or "telling me off", I think its enough to fail.. but then when I followed him to the tester room, he was like telling me that I shld not do this and that, and then he told me how to remedy it..
Then I was like listening, "ok lah".. then he said, "Your driving is actually ok, but its just that your safety check is a bit late".. so ya.. so I tot that's it.. he is gonna tell me try again next time..
But never did I expect to see that he actually say, "ok.. I passed you".. I tell you.. that was the happiest moment of my life, and I was like thanking God manx! I just can't thank Him enough! To God be ALL glory! =)
Then called my parents, and well-wishers sent their congrats after I told them the good news.. so ya..
But I went without food since 0800 hrs until like 1600 hrs.. becos I actually waited for my licence to be processed for 2 SOLID hours! Its long I tell you.. but its all worth it.. =)
Then came home and started blogging this post liaox! I tell you.. this licence has got to be my best Christmas present ever! =).. so ya.. I'm really over the moon liaox! lalalala..
Anyway, below are some of the stuff to mention b4 I ended this blogpost of mine.. so ya.. Enjoy ya!
Mistakes made during my driving test:
(a) Moving Off - Insufficient Acceleration (2 points)
(b) Forward Driving - Fail to use appropriate gear (4 points)
(c) Junction - Improper turning (Incorrect Lane - 4 points)
(d) Safety Check - Fail to check blind spot (4 points)
(e) Safety Check - Fail to look out for traffic (Junction - 4 points)
SCORE: 18 demerit points.
RESULT: Passed
4 days to my annual Church Youth Camp (16/12 - 19/12).
8 days to my highly-anticipated Bintan trip (20/12 - 23/12).
12 days to my Christmas Eve cum mum's birthday dinner at Raffles The Plaza Hotel (24/12).
The Season is here and my Class 3 licence is my best present yet,

A shopping weekend!
Ok.. I managed to give my broadband company a peace of my mind on Fri (7/12).. so ya.. never did I expect I would like talk to them like tat.. of course I did not shout or sumthing, its like talking to them nicely but at the same time, making my point known.. so ya..
Both parties has agreed on a solution which they have suggested, and I agreed as well.. They said they will offset the amount for me in my Jan 2008 bill.. let's see whether they would do so, or else I would give them another piece of my mind.. arghh..
Then went to church on Saturday (8/12).. Well.. the worship led by me was awesome! Indeed it was Christ-led, becos somehow all the songs I chose just fell in place! And also the "scripted-words" for my worship just make more sense.. so ya.. I could only say this sentence to describe how I feel, "To God be ALL Glory!".
Then came the most exciting part of the week and that is yesterday (9/12).. I did my Christmas shopping! weeee.. its so fun lah, though I wish all tat I bought yesterday were all mine.. but ya.. Christmas is a season of giving, and its like I dun koe why, I just love being Santa Claus, and just bless ppl with gifts =).. its a nice feeling.. if you have not experience it before, you shld try it this Christmas! It feels marvellous lah! You don't have to give like real expensive gifts to feel in such a way, you just have to give with a cheerful heart can liaox! =)
Came home after that and then wrap my presents.. and by the time I sleep, it was already 0010 hrs.. haix..
Woke up this morning at 0600 hrs, of course feeling shack lah! But well.. this is my last week of working.. next week is enjoyment week! Yeh.. now no more mood to work liaox..
And yes.. my driving test still remains on Wednesday (12/12), and this worries me.. so ya.. but oh well.. if it is God's Will for me to pass, He will definately do it for me.. if not, then I just have to try until I pass lohx..
People has been telling me not to worry and just pray, and some ppl have also been telling me to prepare for the worst.. so ya.. I also dun koe which is which I shld feel but I'm just letting nature takes its course.
Am having a lesson on Wednesday (12/12) morning itself before my test, so as to make myself more confident and hopefully can do some last-minute revision.. so ya.. and I've got 1 more day to prepare myself before the actual day.. oh man.. I'm breaking out in cold sweat!
2 days to my Traffic Police Driving Test (12/12).
6 days to my annual Church Youth Camp (16/12 - 19/12).
10 days to my highly-anticipated Bintan trip (20/12 - 23/12).
14 days to my Christmas Eve cum mum's birthday dinner at Raffles The Plaza Hotel (24/12).

Angry!!
I have been overcharged by my broadband company.. I was promised that they would offset that amount for me and I just have to pay the cost of my internet WITHOUT the extra charges, but in the end, I paid for it.
And they are fortunate that they are closed for the day, or I would have just scolded them! But no worries. I'm going to bug them tml, and ask them why.. who koes.. I may even raise my voice.. but do you think I'll do that? I don't think so, but the impossible happens sometimes... esp. when I'm not in a very good mood, as I worked till 2300 hrs yesterday nite, and by the time I slept, its like 0030 hrs liaox.. so ya.. totally tiring lah.. this morning have to work somemore.. haix..
5 days to my Traffic Police Driving Test (12/12).
9 days to my annual Church Youth Camp (16/12 - 19/12).
13 days to my highly-anticipated Bintan trip (20/12 - 23/12).
17 days to my Christmas Eve cum mum's birthday dinner at Raffles The Plaza Hotel (24/12).

THE day is approaching!!!
Ok ppl.. I'm feeling stressed..
Up first on my agenda is my life-changing moment, which is my TP Driving Test next week! I have been harbouring this fantasy of holding that "ultimate green card", and thus making me a qualified driver. Have been wanting to drive since young.. and this is my chance.. In fact, I have took lessons since Feb 07, and this is my chance.. A lot of my friends and cousins has been passing since the first try, and I learnt for so long already, cannot be I more stupid than them rite?
Ya.. no doubt that I'm giving myself more self-confidence, but then, its like my heart is thumping each moment.. its next wednesday (12/12).. its like not a mth time or wat.. its only abt a week! Yikes!!
So ya.. this is what worrying me right now.. so ya.. very stress lehx!
Next on my agenda is my tot of changing my current job. I dun koe whether is this me or wat.. I have a mentality to quit.. but there seemed to be no answer from God, not even a slight hint!
Today I actually msg that reservist friend of mine who is like working in AVA.. and to my despair, he said that currently in his dept, there is no more vacancies, but unsure of other dept.. so he suggested that I shld just send in my resume to the HR and then see what they decide from there. So ya..
So does this mean that I would not be offered a job by AVA since this only glamour of hope has been shut down? I don't know. I would only try to send my resume after I got my driving test results (which is next Wednesday).. so ya..
Yesterday nite, have been chatting with one of my reservist friends, Kenneth, who is from SAJC.. he was from the Hong Junyang & JJ Lin batch.. so ya.. so of course, he is older than me lahx.. and he is very approachable.. and yesterday we talk, like as if we were old-time friends.. and the way he talk to me, is machiam a big brother talking to his younger brother.. so ya.. its indeed really a joy everytime I talk to him lah.. =)
Kenneth is like telling me the pros and cons of being in the civil service, as well as also he is actually encouraging me to further my study..
I actually want to further, but then I don't want to do it part-time, becos its really tiring.. but then again, my family can't afford for me to do so, so I guess I just have either to be satisfied with my diploma, or find some other way to further my study.. so ya.. Ppl have been encouraging me to do part-time, but they dun understand my difficulties.. I tried it before, and it doesn't work! With a job scope like mine (whose work schedules are not even fixed), I can't afford to study!
Moreover, look at it this way.. If I want to pursue a degree in my field of diploma, its either NUS or Australia.. but I have neither the capital nor the brains, so I guess both is out for me..
I actually still have the passion to go into the field of hospitality and tourism.. I just don't know why.. so if I were to pursue a degree in that, I would be most happy to do so.. but so ya.. haix.. totally at crossroads over this thing.. sometimes just thinking of it really makes me vexed!
A lot of ppl have been telling me different things, and I'm like so torn and confused over such stuff.. Sometimes, I just wish that I could just vanish from this world and don't think of anything at all! arghhhh..
But first things first, the hurdle to cross is my licence!
8 days to my Traffic Police Driving Test (12/12).
12 days to my annual Church Youth Camp (16/12 - 19/12).
16 days to my highly-anticipated Bintan trip (20/12 - 23/12).
20 days to my Christmas Eve cum mum's birthday dinner at Raffles The Plaza Hotel (24/12).
I WANNA DRIVE,

I would only try to send my resume after I got my driving test results (which is next Wednesday).. so ya..

Terror Sunday!
Ok.. my stocktake yesterday was a terror! It lasted all the way from 1020 hrs - 2100 hrs!
(Was supposed to start at 0930 hrs, but then the accounts ppl say wat technical glitch, so they only started at 1020 hrs after a short briefing of 10 mins which started at 1010 hrs)
It seemed little to count, but then I was so wrong.. My team took 2.5 hrs to count finish everything.. broke for lunch after tat.. and at 1330 hrs, I was rotting already in office.. typing out my counting report and all!
Then its waiting and waiting.. till like 2000 hrs, when its our turn to see the accountant (gulp!), and then she told us that there were a few items to recount.. so ya..
I was like wat? 2000 hrs still must count? Oh watever.. so we went to count.. then finally at 2100 hrs, we are allowed to go home.. so ya.. tiring day..
Then this morning went to work.. feeling better than yesterday (oh btw, I'mn harbouring a bad flu over the past few wks).. so ya.. then came home, and now working on my Youth Camp stuff, which will take me a few more sleepless nites to complete it.. but oh well.. this is my responsibility!
Ok lah.. gtg liaox or else I wld never finish.. so ya..
9 days to my Traffic Police Driving Test (12/12).
13 days to my annual Church Youth Camp (16/12 - 19/12).
17 days to my highly-anticipated Bintan trip (20/12 - 23/12).
21 days to my Christmas Eve cum mum's birthday dinner at Raffles The Plaza Hotel (24/12).
Work in progress,

The clock is ticking fast...
The clock is really ticking fast.. In a twinkle of an eye, it is already the start of December! Fast huh..
December is a time where I have been waiting for, becos lots of events happening in at this time of the year, and one of my favourite festivities, Christmas, is also here.. and guess wat.. Christmas = SHOPPING!!!! Yeh!! Gonna get my gifts as soon as I can find the time to do so! =)
This week at office is like coming home everyday like 4-5pm.. quite shiok but pain to the wallet, becos this means not much OT to do, which is like less OT equals less money.. so ya..
Today at work, did my preparation for my stocktake tml.. YES! You see it right.. Stocktake AGAIN! but then its stocktaking different kind of stuff.. so ya.. But its like sianx lahx.. imagine myself have to work on Sundays, just because of that mere sum of money.. I would rather spend my time on improving my driving, than doing stocktake lohx.. haix.. but what to do? This is my job..
So I hope tml's stocktake will not like drag for any longer.. it will be as fast as possible, becos in the afternoon, I have another appt (and that is going to some gathering organised by Alvin's mum.. so ya.. but that would depend what time I finish lahx.. Choa Chu Kang lehx.. Darn far lah!)
Then came home, and then clean the dog's poo! (YOU SEE IT CORRECTLY!!).. then bathe and got out of the house to go to church..
I tell you.. today I was super blur.. I almost took the wrong direction of the MRT to get to church.. instead of going from Lavendar to Tanjong Pagar (train shld be heading towards Boon Lay), I actually tot of taking the train which is heading towards Pasir Ris. By the time I realised that I was about to board the wrong train, the right train has just closed its doors and left for another station.. I was like arghh..
Then because its like everyone else is going home after dinner and there seemed to be no after-church activities, I decided to go home and just rest for the nite, since I got to work tml morning.. so ya..
Then guess wat.. when I got home, the dog poo-ed again, and I clean the mess again.. arghh.. why dogs have to poo? Can't they do it at one go? My goodness!
That basically sums up my day lahx..
Oh.. just to update you all a bit.. remember in my previous post, I mentioned where to go for my mum's birthday dinner? I've tot of it liaox, and also discussed with my dad (becos both of us wld be sharing the dinner equally) liaox, and we decided that we would combine our annual Christmas dinner with my mum's birthday dinner, so it would be held on Christmas Eve (24/12) at Plaza Market Cafe, Raffles The Plaza Hotel. Eh.. think its cheap stuff? Think again, becos its international buffet.. it costs $62++ PER person (WITHOUT any form of alcohol/wine), but if we wld want a free flow of alcohol/wine, the price would be $78++ PER person, but then the food would be the same.. so practically speaking, paying $78++ PER person is like super expensive lahx, so both of us decided to go for the option of having no wine.. so ya.. but then again, though its expensive, but this is a once-a-year affair and also its my mum's birthday dinner.. so ya.. so have to give a good one mahx.. so I can say that it would be well spent lahx! =)
Ok.. b4 I turn in for the nite (have to like wake up at 0730 hrs tml, becos have to be in office like at 0930 hrs for stocktake.. sianx), here are some of the stuff that I would be counting down everytime I post a blogpost (for the mth of December only!)...
11 days to my Traffic Police Driving Test (12/12).
15 days to my annual Church Youth Camp (16/12 - 19/12).
19 days to my highly-anticipated Bintan trip (20/12 - 23/12).
23 days to my Christmas Eve cum mum's birthday dinner at Raffles The Plaza Hotel (24/12).
