A Joyful and memorable weekend!

This is a summary of my blogposts, since Sat (16/12)..
So read on..

Saturday (16/12/06)

I was the first to leave the office.. at 1130 hrs sharp, I left office! Ha.. quickly got out of office and then proceed to Carrefour @ Suntec City to buy the ingredients for the food tat I'm bringing for the picnic on Sunday (17/12).. so ya..
I felt so embarrased lah, but what to do.. hahax..

I tell you when I was at Carrefour, it felt so weird buying groceries.. machiam like a house husband.. wahaha..

Anyway, I came home, had a super late lunch, and then went on to do my food liaox! I took abt 30 minutes to prepare.. so ya.. it turn out to be quite a failure, but my mum helped to salvage it a bit, and it was perfect.. wahaha..

Then went to church, and for the first time, I reached home so early after church, becos its like my bros all go play arcade (which I dun play!) and then my parents going out with their friends.. so ya.. so its me all alone, and I went home myself.. wanted to go home early too lah, becos its like I have to wake up super early the nxt day (Sunday - 17/12) for youth camp.. so ya..

So of course came home, and then franctically packing for my youth camp.. though I didnt stay, but then there is still some things to pack.. so ya..

Went to sleep after that loh..

Sunday (17/12/06)

Woke up at 0700 with so much expectation and tots; as to what shld I expect in the Youth Camp? Would it be as good as last yr or so so only? How wld my worship go?
Lots of stuff was running thru my head in the morning..

Carlise gave me a lift to SAV (Saint Andrew's Village - which was my old primary and secondary sch!).. so ya.. thanx Carlise! =)

When I reached there, it started to drizzle.. and I was praying for God to hold the weather becos we are going to Botanical Gardens for the first day, and believe it or not, I was waiting anxiously for it, becos its a good photo opprotunity mahx.. hahax..

But then, God had other plans and it rained the moment we reached Botanical Gardens.

Anyway, my pastor was there, and he availed his condo's function room as an alternative, and all agreed.. so we proceeded to my pastor's condo..

At there, we had the sharing by my pastor, and then followed by lunch (which was fabulously good!) and 1.5 hrs of charades.. hahax.. 1.5 hrs! tats cool rite.. hahax..

I was initially very disappointed that ppl dun koe how to eat the food (which is the french onion dip!) tat I made (I bought a $45 cooler box juz becos of this ok!) becos its like I dun see anyone eating, but close to the end of the lunch, I got 3 ppl telling me tat its very nice and 2 of them want my recipe.. so ya.. and guess wat! The dip was finished within minutes.. hahax..

Then went back to SAV for some settling down.. went to the guy's dorm to rest for a while, and I tell you, it was shiok, but then, it was freezing cold, becos of the aircon!.. so ya..

So I decided to like go out and walk walk a while, and at the same time, take photos with the building to put in my blog or sumthing.. But u koe sumthing? As I toured round the building, I suddenly felt emo! The fond memories of me being in the building from 1991-1995 juz came rushing back into my mind..
Best friends, recess activities, and many other memories juz came flowing back.. But the fondest memories would be the place where you see at the above right of this blogpost, becos its like this is the place where my Primary 1 classroom is, and I used to play around this area with my best friends.. so ya..
So now you koe why I felt emo? I didnt stay for long though, becos if I do, I would juz tear or sumthing.. so ya..

Then went back to the guy's dorm and relax again, and I suddenly felt so sian.. my bro, Andrew, realised this and asked me what happened.. I told him tat I juz felt emo (becos of the fond memories I had in this building), but guess he didnt hear though.. so ya..

Then at night, went to have dinner, and then I saw one of my Secondary school drink stall aunty, who was running a stall in the place where we had our dinner..
I talked with her for a while and juz catch up on past history (hahax..)

After dinner, led worship, and I tell you.. the worship was awesome.. I've beginning to see how the Holy Spirit can work in me to lead the congregation into fervent worship! Man.. you shld have see how many ppl was really in the Presence of God, especially when at the song, "Heart of Worship" (which is a very prayerful song) and an impromptu song which I juz played during Altar Call ("You Are Beautiful Beyond Description)..
Man.. this is the FIRST time after 2 years which I really felt the Lord's presence on me when I lead worship..
I'm also happy to see my youths really worshippping (which they seldom do! So ya.. guess its all God's working in me!).. so ya.. was really encouraged to like see so many ppl worshipping.. so ya..
But ultimately, its giving God glory and NOT myself! =) Thanks God!

So by the time I left the place, its like about 2200.. had a turkish delight (courtesy of Xinyi who juz came back from Turkey!) before I left.. it was nice! Thanks Xinyi! =)

Reach home, bathe and then sleep liaox.. too tired!

Monday (18/12/06)

Was super stressed at work! Didnt eat dinner till like 10pm.. And my work is simply stressed to the max! And man.. I was not concentrating at work today the whole day man! I was like thinking of my Youth Camp.. haix..
I miss my Youths at the camp.. haix.. =(

I really hate this loh.. I juz can't concentrate lah.. haix..

Today my boss was on MC, so some major decisions really require me to make (and hopefully its correct), but when I made the decisions, my workers not happy.. so ya.. I can't please everyone.

Ok lah.. gtg and sleep liaox.. very tired..
