anyway, here are some updates:

Saturday (17/01/2004)

ok.. at this day at night, went for my family (my dad's side) reunion dinner at my aunt's place.. its really a GREAT joy to see my cousins again..

when i first went there, i got a shock.. u koe y? my 3 cousins (two of them are 13 yrs and one of them is 12 yrs) got handphones!! my gosh.. so young have handphone.. haiz.. during my time, i still using house phone manz.. no such thing as handphone.. anyway during my time, pagers are more popular than handphones.. so yupz.. anyway, children nowadays are so well-fed.. dun u think so?? =)

then went to eat dinner lohz.. a lot of Peranakan dishes are being cooked manz.. (btw, i'm Peranakan.. that's y.. ohh.. u didn't koe tat?? how could u?? hahaz..)
The Peranakan dishes include:
*Ayam Buah Keluk (signiture Peranakan Dish)
*Nonya Chup Chai
*Crabmeat-and-pork ball with Bamboo Shoot soup (but no bamboo shoot yesterday in the soup)
*Sambal Babi (which means sambal pork)

and of course, how can i forget.. sambal balanchan... wahaha.. mmm.. mouth-watering food.. i wish yesterday repeats itself manz.. hahaz.. so nice food.. =)

and then after dinner, went into a room for a "yearly torture" by my cousins.. its like a few of my cousins (those big one lahz.. ard my age) were being dragged into a room by my younger cousins, and see them dance.. its was ok lahz.. except that its a bit boring.. but anyway, saw my youngest cousin (of 4 yrs old) dance.. she dance to the tune of "Take On Me" by the group, A1.. she is so funny.. there is one part that requires her to like shake her leg but only minimal.. but u see her left leg, is like she is dancing to sambal dance lohz.. her legs shake like so professional.. but so funny.. u shld see it manz..

my eldest cousin--Shannon (who is 21 yrs old now) and his girlfriend also laugh.. juz realise that my eldest cousin looks like a friend from TP whom i've known thru' Orientation Leaders Training during my first year in TP.. but anyway, if u want to koe wat my cousin looks like, go to my Friendster and look for the name, Shannon.. that is my eldest cousin.. he looks quite cool actually.. chey!

so i tok to Shannon's girlfriend and find out more about her lohz.. hahaz.. dun u think its like the bachelor bringing the gal of his dreams home, for so-called 'integorration'.. ya koe, like the Bachelor show.. hahaz.. chey!
anyway, manage to find out a few things from her.. and wat i can say??
she has the looks as well as the brains.. Shannon.. treasure her huh.. hahaz.. =)

then my the other cousin, Sherwyn (same age with me), also brought his girlfriend to the dinner.. didn't tok to both of them that much.. but yupz.. his girlfriend is like a common face liaoz lohz.. like family gathering or even CNY, sure see her one.. looks like she is going to be part of the Ghui family soon.. hahaz.. chay!

then for the first time yesterday, i played Playstations' Need For Stakes as well as Tekken 3.. wow.. really suck at both games, but have fun though..

then played scrabble for a while.. then its time to go home with my family, becos' nxt day (18/1), got church mahz..

so by the time i reached home, its like 12.15am liaoz.. went to bathe and slept.. i slept like a log manz.. hahaz.. =)

Sunday (18/01/2004)

went to church.. carlise led worship.. i sang a special song (I'm Held By Your Love-- by Bob Fitts) with huimin (a last min thing!).. was quite enjoyable actually.. did it like a duet.. can go and take part in competition liaoz.. hahaz.. chay!.. =P
Rev. Nicholas Choo was the speaker today at church.. he preached about J-O-Y (aka JOY).. but before he started preaching, he played the game with the congregation and i muz say that it is enjoyable.. btw, this is how i manage to find the new quote lohz.. anyway, the one sentence that can summarise his preaching is that whatever u do or watever circumstances u face, do it with joy..

today tiffany did not come to church, becos' she was sick.. so that's y wendy came with sarah.. which i dun koe y.. probably they pa-ka..

anyway, after service, the youths (ie, me, my sis, huimin, wendy and sarah) walked out from church to the hawker centre nxt to Heartland Mall (the usual place for lunch after church service on sunday) for lunch..

i of course satify my craving for wonton mee.. but was not so nice as i've expected.. quite regret my decision, but at least i satisfy my craving for wontan mee.. =)

huimin ate yong tau foo (8 pieces!)..

sarah, wendy and my sis ate bak-cho mee (minced pork noodle).

for dessert, all of us had ching-chow with longan, except wendy was the 'x-tra' one.. she ordered ching-chow with longan and atap chi (ie, atap seed).. all got about 30 crush cubes of ice in each bowl, and 5 longans in each bowl.. except wendy has 3 longans and 7 atap seeds.. =)
(be impressed!! that kind of details can only come from Abriel Ghui.. hahaz... chey!)

when each of us almost finish our dessert, huimin took out a pkt of tissue, "O'Darling" brand.. so i just like said "O'Darling".. huimin is like nod her head and said orh!.. then 5 seconds later, she got choked.. then wendy made a joke saying that huimin is W.O.L.S (slow, but spell backwards.. get it??).. well.. then wendy said i got sumthing to write liaoz.. so wendy.. this is to fulfill ur wish huh..

sarah, a column on my blog will be dedicated to u soon.. for u to remember wat to bring back from aust. in december.. wahaha.. but anyway, not so fast lahz.. it will be abuot oct/nov lah horz.. =)

then came back by taking bus 81, and when reach home, took a bath, and start revising for my tml's quiz at 9am in school tml.. haiz.. but manage to finish it in like 1.5hrs! Thank God!! =)

so later, going out with family to s'goon garden market for dinner and followed by some CNY goods and reunion dinner food shopping at NTUNC Fairprice.. so yupz.. later during dinner, going to satisfy another food craving of mine, and that is to eat fishball kway teow soup.. yupz.. so nice.. mmm.. can't wait to eat that.. =)..

k.. i think this shld be long and detailed enuf hor.. hahaz.. =)
