Chillout weekend again!

Well.. yesterday was my 3rd time in a row that I went for chillout sessions.. ha.. let's see..

But you see.. the first two sessions are like drinking sessions.. whereas the one I went to yesterday (ie, 28/4), it was more of a chillout session.. I was like considering whether to drink or not, but I felt tat I have drank two weeks in a row, so drinking so much not good for body, so tats why I had a Cinderalla Mocktail yesterday @ The Altivo Bar.. Not bad actually.. It was a mix of orange, pineappple, lime and cranberry juice.. so ya.. sour and refreshing.. =).. but wats important is the accompany lahx.. As usual, Mok, Ryan, Cat, myself went, but there was a special guest, and tat is Joyce.. hahax.. has not seen her for a long long time liaox.. so ya.. =).. but oh well..

Then went to Mok's hse to cab home becos its like so late liaox.. then this morning was driving lohx.. Learn abt blindspots, and the instructor was the havoc one.. so he insisted me to like everytime I turn the steering wheel, I check my rear mirror, side mirror and blindspot.. super troublesome and didnt got used to it.. but now, not too bad, though at times, I still forgot to check my blindspots at certain areas.. so ya.. =)

Ok lahx.. gtg and grab some lunch before proceeding to church later for prac, then another church session at my main church becos one of the Youths getting confirmed.. Then its indulge time (becos its ala carte buffet) @ Pearl River Palace, Suntec, becos its my 3 aunties last day in Singapore, so my parents decided to give them a treat before they leave for Singapore tml.. so ya.. =)

A tiring week!

Well.. as you can see, I did not blog much since Mon (23/4), becos I'm like everyday either late coming home from work, or went for IPT sessions.. so ya.. So naturally, its super shacked lahx..

Believe it or not.. Somwhere on Tues (24/4), I somewhat miss the IPT sessions already.. Not that I click with the ppl there, but its juz tat sudden surge to exercise.. you koe.. I juz dun koe why I felt that way.. weird huh..

So Wed (25/4) came, and though I tot I wld reach early, but in the end, I still reach the same time due to the heavy downpour as before I left.. so ya.. but then once I reach the place, I started to feel like scared again (like I dun koe wat to expect!)

So the session went on, and it turn out to be quite OK.. the PTI was quite funny, so its like quite fun to be in the session lahx.. no tekan, and tats the best part! The PTI talk to us like friends.. so ya.. =)

Then after the session (becos it focus on weight training), hence my biceps and other muscles ard my body starts to ache.. so ya.. quite torturing.. Imagine I have to bear such pain and still go to work, where at times I carry heavy stuff.. haix..

So yesterday left office like at 9.30pm, and I have counted and its considered as I have worked for free for my company for 30 mins..

And as if its not enuf, today I worked for free for another 2.5 hrs.. and tml another 5 hrs becos I'm on course.. so ya.. so you can imagine I've worked 8 hrs for free for the company.. haix.. the woes of being an executive stuff.. =(

Then nxt wk, my product is having another promotion, which makes my stuff and I have double work.. haix.. and now I got tons of things to do on my production floor.. not supervising, but its actually helping my senior operator do some of the stuff, becos its really a lot, and only he and I can handle it properly.. letting the operators do is simply sucidal; they wld juz do with a "heck care attitude".. so ya.. So I rather save the trouble, and only allow my senior operator and I do.. so ya..

So today I spend like almost an hour (sweating like a pig) to do something which is partially necessary but instructed by my boss to do it, so have to do it lah.. I can say cannot rite..

And speaking of my boss, I juz want to say tat my boss is really quite a stingy or thrifty fellow.. he everything also want to save (plastic bags only lohx).. becos I was using the plastic bags for my promotion items nxt week.. and its like I only use abt 15 pcs, and he started to complain liaox.. He said I waste plastic bag, and he suggested other alternatives but it didnt work (which I told him earlier, but he insist he wants to try it).. so in the end, he consented to my use of plastic bags, but he calls me to recycle them.. which I have to see the state of the bag.. if too crumpled, then no pt liaox mahx.. correct?.. aiya.. I dun koe lah.. you want to koe more details, ask me, and I wld gladly tell you how thrifty my boss is.. hahax.. thrifty is good but this is quite extreme liaox.. haix.. ok.. I shall stop gossiping abt my boss liaox..

Today work is ok.. and its the first time in the week where I can be home so early and dun need to attend any IPT sessions or sumthing.. so ya..

Oh.. I dun koe why but I have been very conscious of what I eat for lunch/dinner these days.. its like I usually had a normal serving of rice but after Wed, I started to ask for less rice, and surprising, I was full.. hahax.. but then today I had the craving to indulge in MacDonald's.. and wham! I ate it and now I feel so guilty, esp. the oily fries.. haix.. I was suakuu at Mac, becos last time I only eat fries with curry sauce, but today I ask for BBQ sauce, and when I started eating, I felt like something was missing, and then I realised it was curry sauce and not BBQ sauce.. you see how long I never ate Mac liaox lohx.. hahax.. but the double fillet o-fish burger was so so good! =)

Then now online and I got like tons of stuff to clear online as well.. haix..

Ok lahx.. gtg liaox and do my stuff..

It wld be a busy weekend for me, esp. Sunday, becos I'm having a buffet with my relatives who is from overseas and will be going back on Mon, so my parents is giving them a treat.. so ya.. so I dun koe whether I wld put back the calories.. but of well.. I shall control.. but if I put back the weight, there is always IPT to help me to keep in shape! hahax.. =)

My first SAF encounter as an NSmen

Ok.. this is gonna be quite short (I hope.. becos I super shack liaox!)..

Work was ok, but as 4pm reaches, I felt very scared, becos its like I dun koe wat to expect from my IPT lesson, and how it wld be conducted and stuff..

I didnt left at 4pm sharp, becos its like there is so many things for me to settle.. but in the end, I left at 4.15pm..

Came home and had dinner.. then bathe and off I went to Khatib Camp for my IPT programme.. Go to ns.sg to find out more.. Its actually a prog from NSmen that if you attend at least 7 training sessions and take the IPPT test on the 8th session, you wld be exempted from RT (Remedial Training) in the event I failed my IPPT..

Oh.. the feeling of being an NSmen really shiok, becos its like I finally get to taste wat NSmen's power in camp.. ha.. they dun really care like ask us to keep quiet when they talk.. they treat us like members of the public.. so ya.. hahax.. so ya.. quite shiok lah.. you got to experience this and then you koe.. =)

So ya.. and there I reached there.. quite late based on the stipulated timing.. so ya.. But I was not the only late one.. hahax..

As I'm going to Khatib Camp and on the bus, I had so much memories, becos the bus which I took, actually pass by my camp, Sembawang Airbase.. so ya..

But anyway, when I reach there, I was quite shocked and taken aback, becos its like I'm like the rare few of being so young.. A lot of them were like in their mid-30's, and most of them is like you koe; the normal NSmen size (quite big size tat is).. but oh well..

Then we had a briefing by the PTI (Physical Training Instructor) abt this prog, and his first question was, "hands up those who came to this IPT prog not to escape RT".. and dun koe how true.. a few of them put up their hands.. as for me, I'm realistic; I go to IPT to escape RT.. so ya..

And today was the categorisation test to see which category of ppl we shld be in for further training.. and today, all of us did all the IPPT stations.. and I'm shocked at a few results.. Some were unbelievable (ie, slightly better than last time, which I didnt expect), but my stamina for my 2.4km run really drop tremendously, and I was like "ok.. I did not run for a long long time!".. but wats comforting is tat though my stamina is so bad, but then there is only like 5-6 ppl in front of me only when I completed the run.. so at least I think I'm in the Top 10 or sumthing.. =)..

Well.. certainly hope tat as the week passes by, my IPPT scores wld improve.. even if fail again, but it improve a little bit, I'm happy.. so ya.. so guess I have to jiayou on my fitness lohx..

Now I have ultra soft legs and tense abs muscles..

Next session is on Wednesday.. hope I can perform better nxt time round..

Ok.. gtg and sleep liaox.. super shacked and tired..

A Sunday just pass by so quickly..

Well.. today went to church for music prac.. then after that, went for the baptism service for some of my church members.. and apparently, our church is the only one had so many child baptisms.. child baptisms as in toddlers.. so ya..

Then its to my pastor's hse where I had dinner.. and it was yummy but a bit salty though.. but wat I like best was the Lemon Lust from Cedele.. my pastor's wife ordered it especially for me.. so ya.. and because its so lustful, I had a big slice, and Tjow had 3 big slices.. hahax.. It was really addictive lahx! =)

Then came home in Carlise car.. so ya.. and that apparently wrap up my day.. Today seemed like so fast lahx.. and I feel so sianx becos tml is the start of my IPT programme.. haix.. need to exercise liaox.. means prob no time to come home to blog liaox, becos wld be so so tired lahx..

Oh.. I forgot to thank my "Barnabas".. If you are reading this, thank YOU so much for your note.. believe you me.. when I read that note, I almost cried.. I was that touched.. ok.. I'm not emo or sumthing.. its juz that such little things actually made my day.. Thank YOU so much whoever you are (though I had some wild guesses, but I can't confirm.. so ya!)

A chill-out weekend!

Well.. it was really a chill-out weekend for me, but it was of course with ups and downs too..

Friday (20/04/07)

My Friday was like one of the worst working days I can get.. My 2 coldroom guys is on MC, and its left with me and my senior operator doing coldroom.. I tell you.. its a tough job.. But nevertheless, we still manage to do it, and my senior operator did most of the job! =)

Then its like short of 1 packing ppl, and then my senior operator asked the problematic boy (becos he is 18 yrs old only) to do packing.. and I was like "ok.. no harm trying him out".. but it turned out otherwise.. he actually ate dinner for 1 hr, which is the max is only 30 minutes.. so you see.. and u koe wat he did? He went to go buy lottery..
I so wanted to tell him off, but I hold back my horses, becos its like I no energy to scold liaox..

His remarks and his figure of speech were equally sarcastic.. can't take it lahx.. I was telling my senior operator that nxt time, dun call him come packing unless he have no choice, becos not only I will suffer, my senior operator wld also suffer..

Oh.. my confirmation test went smoothly today.. my boss didnt like ask me to show him process and stuff.. juz all talking lohx.. and he submitted my confirmation form on the day itself (which is actually a few days late liaox!).. Then I was like contemplating whether to tell him or not abt this problematic boy.. and I was like if I dun tell him, I won't feel good.. so ya.. I told him in the end abt all the problems I faced with this boy and he gave me a few solutions of how to deal with him..

Saturday (21/04/07)

Then Saturday came where this problematic boy came at 0730 instead of 0700, so I asked him the reason, and he said he cldnt woke up in time..
So I told him the ultimate soln (which my boss told me to tell him in future if he is late), which of course he didnt feel happy, becos its like my boss suggestion, and I feel tat to dui fu these kind of ppl, muz use such tactics.. Anyway, this boy after hearing it, he bang door and stuff, which I didnt care.. I still sticking to my ways..

Then after which, it attending the course from 0900hrs - 1700hrs.. wah.. I tell you.. the fellow quite long-winded.. I almost fell asleep at certain parts.. so ya.. But though the course is boring, at least I got a group of good friends (made in my company but from QC Dept) to hang out with and attended the same course.. so we went out for lunch together and stuff.. so ya.. Quite fun I muz say!..

Then after which, I quickly pack my stuff and then came home.. bathe and then out of the hse again for church.. Cabbed there and got a peak period surcharge of $2 which until I step in the cab then I remembered.. so ya..

Reach church like 1820 hrs.. sat down and in like 45 mins time, service ended.. A few of us followed Tjow and Ryan to Raffles' City foodcourt for dinner, as Tjow wanted to get something from Robinsons'.. so ya..
Most of the youths went to Amara and had their Subway.. but I didnt want to have tat.. I want to have the beef noodles at Raffles City foodcourt! =)..

Then Mok & Esther came from Amara and then Ryan, Cat, Mok, Esther and myself decided to go for a chill-out session.. We went to this place at Dempsy Road (opp. Botanical Gardens).. we wanted to go to PS Cafe, which is a glass cafe, but full house.. so we went to the one tat is opp and no air con.. juz al-fresco..

Wanted to juz drink some juice or coffee, but find it not worth it, so might as why I pay more for a cup of cocktail.. hahax.. so I had a lychee martini.. It was ok lahx.. but I still like Mok's drink.. he had the Caprihna (which I think its spelled this way).. its actually liquor, with brown sugar and lots of lime slices and lime taste as well.. very shiok!.. so ya..

But becos my Martini is a small serving only, therefore, I didnt get drunk at all lahx.. hahax..

Came home and then bathe and then sleep for the nite liaox..

Sunday (22/04/07)

Woke up this morning for driving.. it was tat sui bian instructor.. I guess its not his teaching no good.. its juz tat he "feed me too much with instructions" tat I relied on him.. and I was also nervous.. so ya.. dun koe why.. maybe its his teaching method? I dun koe.. so ya..

Then came home and then blog this post liaox..

Ok lah.. I gtg liaox.. Bathe and got to go to church to help out the Youth music team on their worship set.. its only help and not play, becos I wont be there on next Sat (28/4) becos got tat course again lohx.. haix..

Then its off to my main church for baptism becos some of the ppl from my church getting baptised.. and my self-claim godsister (eleanor) is getting baptised today!.. hahax.. Tjow is going to kill me for this, but I dun care =P.. I want Eleanor as my god-sister!

Super busy..

Well.. I'm sorry my faithful readers tat I have not blogged for like 3 days! People I koe have been complaining liaox.. Christina hor.. =P..

Anyway, the past 3 days were super busy for me.. Its work, work and more work!

And by the time I reach home, its like super tired liaox.. no time to even on my computer and blog!

I was tat bad tat on Mon (16/4), I actually wanted so much to tender my resignation, becos I simply cldnt take the stress anymore.. My boss apparently like blame me for sumthing which is so minor and not totally my fault at all.. I was apparently mad at him lahx.. but I'm glad I didnt do so, becos if I do, I wld be probably jobless now.. and wats worse is tat I'm juz 2 days from my confirmation day..

And speaking of confirmation, my boss juz told me today that he wants to go thru my appraisal form with me, as he needs to submit the report before 1400 hrs tommorrow for processing my confirmation application by the HR Dept..
I tell you.. I'm super stress rite now, becos its like I dun koe wat qn he wld ask me tml.. If its process related, I'm worried I wld not be able to answer, becos you see, I spend more time at the packing side rather than the process side.. becos its like I'm short of 1 packing staff, so I had no choice but to help.. so ya.. Am praying very hard tat the answers tat my boss asked me, I wld koe how to answer.. so ya.. =)

Ok lah.. I need to go and get my rest liaox.. I dun even koe when is my next post, becos I'm super busy.. haix..

My Sunday..

Well.. this morning was my driving lesson, and I was praying very hard this morning tat today's instructor was a good one.. If God thinks tat the havoc instructor is good for me, then give me bah..

True enuf, God gave me the havoc instructor.. So ya.. I was quite happy lahx.. hahax.. So today the instructor asked me whether I see him stressed or not.. I said "no" lohx.. so ya.. =)

Then its worship practice session.. though I'm not involved in the worship sessions for 2 wks becos of my upcoming course regarding my job, I wld be reaching church like almost near the end of service liaox.. so ya..

Tjow joined us during the practice session, as he wanted to like ask me to try sumthing.. I was like "ok loh.. try loh..".. it went perfectly ok!

Then Tjow, Carlise and myself went to eat lunch at Pickering Street.. The beef noodles of course lohx.. It was good.. it was my 3rd time eating it lahx.. =)

Then during the trip, Tjow told Carlise and me the meaning of why he suddenly tot of wat he wanted to try juz now.. so ya.. Was quite inspired actually! =).. He said tat worship is like a form of communication with God and vice versa..

Went back to church for Church Camp mtg, where I received a piece of really shocking news.. It was quite a terrible blow to me, and I was like angry and disappointed at the same time..

I will not say in detail but all is tat I want to say is tat I'm totally disappointed with this person.. And of course, not forgetting angry as well.. I spend so much time on it, and this person had to spoil it becos it doesnt meet certain requirements.. I was like prior to it, this person has already approved wat I did.. and now, this person tells me everything cannot.. Imagine this happening to you.. How wld you feel?

After this, I simply felt very sianx lahx.. You can see I was not really myself in the mtg.. so ya.. I tried very much to forget, and sumtimes I succeeded.. but after tat, when my mind is relaxed, the tot wld juz slowly creep into my mind..

The mtg ended.. and it was time to go to Novena Velocity to join my parents.. Joined them, but my mind juz ran wild with the thing tat happened juz now at church.. was thinking a lot of weird tots.. I even tot of like stepping down a position in church becos of this..

I juz wanted to blog this whole thing out, but then becos this topic is quite sensitive, I decided not too.. But anyway, I have confided in Tjow over MSN abt this matter, and he has spend so much time consoling me and stuff.. Thanx bro =)..

Actually I wanted to like keep this whole matter to myself but then its like I juz can't hold it any longer.. and Tjow was like online.. so I confided in him lah!

Then as I was confiding in him, I was like playing the new CD on my radio, and it played "God Will Make A Way".. and I tell you.. I juz teared non-stop, becos esp. the first line, "God will make a way even though there seems to be no way".. its really touching lahx, as in God is juz like answering my questions (which I was confiding in Tjow and asked him abt it).. I think this has got to be the most emo song, becos it somewhat answered wat I asked Tjow.. so ya.. but was really encourage by the song as well.. =).. Guess this is God's way of telling me sumthing.. so ya..

Then now I'm blogging this blogpost lohx..

Dun koe whether I shld do other stuff after this, since its reaching 11pm soon, and I have to work tml.. so ya.. see how lahx.. =)

Clubbing.. been there and done-d! =)

Yesterday was the day where I really enjoyed myself throughly.. here's wat happened! =)

Church worship was awesome.. At certain times when I was practicing on my own, I actually drop a tear or two.. but during service, didnt lah.. dun koe why.. but yesterday's worship was awesome! =)

Then we went to Amara Hotel foodcourt for dinner, but then, didnt eat the foodcourt stuff.. ate Subway instead.. 90% of the Youths ate Subway too.. ha.. =).. Subway is the way to go man!

After mths, finally I get to go clubbing! Ha.. believe you me.. I'm not a party animal.. my last clubbing experience was probably a year ago..

But yesterday was special.. It was Ryan's pre-birthday celebration!

Because this brother of mine, Ryan, is like one of my best buddies in church.. so ya.. so his birthday muz shang lian lahx..

So Mok was like suggesting go DXO (a pub near Esplanade), becos he can get free entry, becos he koes one of the staff there.. so ya..

I was contemplating whether to go or not initially, becos its like I got driving this morning, and I dun koe whether I wld have a hangover or sumthing.. so ya..

But I still went in the end.. It was like a little exciting for me, since I have not gone clubbing for so so long lahx..

So went there.. Mok, Ryan and myself shared the Vodka Lime Tower.. I had abt 3 glasses of it, and by the end of it, I was a bit "high", as in I can feel my head juz feeling quite light, but I can still walk in a straight line..

Then we went inside where Mok happily ordered a pitcher of Long Island Tea and I tell you.. its potent! We played the traditional "finger-guessing" game (and the person on the rite of the person who guessed it rite, have to drink) and trust me.. It was the first time I played it lahx.. And of course, initially I was a bit of really sua-ku, but after a while, I got the hang of it..

So its like its supposed to be Ryan's sabo session, but then it ended up with me and Ryan drinking the most.. and becos of my poor drinking tolerance, I was like going to die anytime lahx.. my head was terribly light and can feel my head was slightly spinning.. but I think I walked in a straight line? I dun koe.. can't see myself mahx..

Then its like past midnight, that we all made our way home.. I cabbed home of course.. didnt feel very good becos of my head.. so when I reached home, I immediately water parade myself with abt 1.2 litres of water, to prevent myself from a hangover and headache this morning.. so ya..

Woke up this morning with no headache and stuff, and surprisingly, woke up 15 mins earlier than my supposed timing, and I was feeling fresh.. tats super funny lahx.. =)

Friday the 13th!

Well.. it can be both bad and good.. and I dun koe whether to believe the taboo tat Friday the 13th is a bad day.. oh well.. I had somewhat of a bad day lahx..

The day started with a slight disagreememnt over one of the staff in my dept.. Dun wish to remember the whole incident again, becos it somewhat etched quite a bad memory, so dun wish to say lahx.. If you want to koe wat it is, ask me privately then I wld access it on a case-to-case basis ok..

Then I also today did like carrying stuff myself becos its like short of manpower, so ya.. Some of my office colleagues had seen me and said tat I was hardworking.. hahax.. I am actually wat! =)

Then the day went on.. with me like staying back in office to complete some of the paperwork stuff again.. Its like though low production this week, but paperwork seems to be the case for me to do overtime.. I have to complete these paperwork, becos if not, then my whole sect wld be disorganised and if worst, down lahx.. so ya..

Then came home and I had to blog this blogpost, before getting back to my church camp registration form.. so ya.. I'm half done.. so ya.. the rest shld be easy to complete.. so ya..

Ok lah.. I gtg liaox, or else I wld like fall asleep in front of the computer lahx.. =)

My match!

Well.. curious abt my blog title today? read on..

Oh.. before I continue, yesterday is one of the latest nites where I left office. I left office at 2300 hrs.. and by the time I reach home, its 2330 hrs and slept at 0000 hrs after reading the newspapers.. so ya.. apparently IKEA is charging for their plastic bags all becos of saving the environment.. haix.. =(

So ya.. super tired when I went to work today.. Was totally in a daze.. Quite short of manpower, so I had to do some of the stuff myself.. And after mths, I had to go down and take the small crates for myself, becos its like no one else doing that, and nxt wk I got high production, so no choice.. haix..

Then I actually can come home at abt 1900+ hrs.. but then becos of one of my colleague who has been tasked to do the planning for my dept, is like so detail.. he wants me to do this and tat.. my boss like last time dun really care, so not much problem.. now, he take over and everything is want to the last detail.. he is a detail person lahx.. haix.. I finally met my match.. except tat I dun go into details like him.. so ya.. haix.. poor me rite.. =(

Came home and had dinner.. Almost had gastric lahx, becos I was super hungry.. so ya..

Then last minute, my boss sent out a memo and said the executives and supervisors (which included me), have to attend a workshop conducted over 2 Saturdays from 0900-1700.. wah lao.. this means I can't play for worship and attend church late lohx.. haix.. sianx.. =(.. but wat to do? Boss ask me to go, I can say no meh? =(

Ok lah.. I gtg liaox.. need to complete the church camp registration form by tonite (I hope!).. becos its like so last minute.. no time to waste liaox.. I'm gonna squeeze every ounce of creative juice in me liaox.. =(

The day @ work

Well.. ok.. today work is simply hectic.. I have not solved a problem and another problem juz surfaced..

But thank God tat all problems were solved before 1600 hrs, or else I dun need to go home liaox..

So I can say tat its all rite at the end lahx..

Oh.. today, there is a student (for attachment) from my poly, Temasek Poly, doing my course of study, Applied Food Science & Nutrition (specialise in Food Technology).. And he said tat this was his FIRST choice, becos of father's persuasion to do so.. but I think he also want to do it lahx, or else, he wld juz have given up..
Ha.. So I guess I'm not the only one who has interest in such stuff huh! =).. So ya.. at least I'm happy; there is my junior working in my company.. wahaha.. My company is infested with Temasek Poly's graduates! =)

Ok lah.. I'm getting very lazy today.. juz dun feel like blogging for long..

Tired..

Ok.. being a Monday and all, confirmed having Monday blues..

My boss is on leave, so at least I not so stressed.. becos I dun koe why, when my boss is in, I wld be super stressed.. so ya.. so I guess when he is not in at times, it wld be good as well =)

Then not only my boss didnt come, one of the other supervisor didnt come, so its like I have to look after 2 depts.. so ya.. Quite tiring I muz say.. I walk up and down non-stop lahx..

The day juz went as it is.. until afternoon when my production almost finished, something happen, and I had to go to the coldroom and solve it.. haix.. it was freezing cold lahx.. I spend like an hour inside without any gloves, and juz my jacket.. and it was abt 1.8 degrees celscius.. totally cold lahx..

Then went back office and do the necessary stuff and then buy dinner and come home to eat it.. now in front of my computer and blog lohx!

I actually want to do other things, but I'm super tired liaox, from all the walking and stuff, despite me having a 7 hr sleep yesterday frm nite to morning.. haix.. guess I'm totally burnt out liaox.. so I juz have to do my other stuff tml where I finish work at 1600 hrs.. juz hope tat supervisor comes tml, or else, I wld have to stay until dun koe wat time.. haix.. =(

Ok lahx.. gtg and do my other stuff liaox.. A little while more and I wld be in dreamland.. Nitex ppl and cya soon! =)

A loonnnggg weekend!

Hey all! Its a long weekend for some, but definately not me.. But I muz say its a fruitful weekend.. so here it is..

Friday (06/04/07)

Its a Public Holiday, and guess wat.. I still had to get up early, and crawl myself to church.. haha.. but not my usual Church @ Tnajong Pagar.. its my main church at SAV (Saint Andrew's Village)..

All thanx to Carlise who gave my family a lift to SAV.. The worship was super good lahx.. everytime I go attend the service there, I'm inspired by their worship.. and wats best is tat there is only 1 guitarist and 2 back-up singers and the worship is powerful lahx! But then again, its becos of the good guitarist! =)

Then after church, went to the nearby Market hawker to eat lunch.. Its Mary, Christina and myself at a table and we shared 5 dishes.. all not up to our standard.. hahax.. but its ok lahx.. we ate until very full lohx! =)

Then it came the part of the afternoon which I like.. SHOPPING aka retail therapy.. hahax.. I wanted to get these 2 stuff so badly lahx..

The Crumpler bag is priced at $179, but becos I got the Apple Card from Carlise, therefore, I only got it at $161 after discount! =) And its the 3rd biggest!.. so for ppl like me who brings a lot of things or simply love dumping everything in a bag, this is like the one bag lahx.. hahax..
The current Crumpler bag I have wld only be used for little stuff.. so ya.. but my new Crumpler bag wld most probably made its first debut during church camp! =) So if you want to see how it looked on me, go for church camp.. hahax.. *the publicity guy has spoken!*

Then its me going round to look for a beach shorts, becos my swimming trunks has become rubbish liaox.. hahax.. so ya.. went to Puma and saw this beach shorts! Nice rite? I got it for $49.00.. so ya.. there is actually another Speedo one which is slightly nicer and its grey and luminous green in colour, but then its $69!.. so ya.. not worth it lahx.. so might as well get thie Puma one.. so ya.. =).. its my type of colour lahx (ie, I like bright colours!).. so ya.. =)

Well.. its a super nice experience lohz!.. retail therapy is good for Singapore, and myself! haha.. better buy ur stuff now before the GST rises up to 7% in July 2007. So ya.. =)

Then went to Sushi Tei for dinner.. Had a unagi-li-cious time again! =).. hahax.. Had constant calls from Christina asking me to go and check her Tiramisu stuff!.. so I did lah.. becos wat to do? I'm her QC guinea pig! hahax.. =P

Came home, and my mum and me did my speciality dip for the Easter Dinner @ my Pastor's hse on Sun (08/04).. so ya..

Then came home.. feeling shacked and thus slept for the nite! =)

Saturday (07/04/07)

Its like so hard to wake up in the morning to go to work lahx.. but I still did in the end..

Went to work and then one of the China guy told me tat he didnt want to do overtime becos he got sumthing on.. I was like told him tat he agreed liaox and now he wants to back out.. so last minute, how to find someone else to cover..

Then last minute, he told me say no problem liaox.. haix.. these ppl is giving me a headache lahx.. so ya..

So left office for Carrefour to buy my ice-packs for my dip.. then I was approached by a manager for some stuff (which I dun wish to say).. and I agreed to it lahx.. so ya.. Find it a good investment to do so..

Then came home by cab, becos my bag was very heavy from all the stuff tat I carried. Had a chat with the cab driver.. can tell tat he was very proud of his children, becos he has 3 children, and 2 of which is uni grad and earn big money, whilst the youngest has just entered NUS but was from VJC and he represented Singapore in under 16 soccer, and he was the captain for the soccer team in VJC and VJC got first prize for it.. so ya..

Then bathe and went to church.. Church was ok.. Tried Christina's tiramisu, and told her all the commends I had liaox! So she wld make again nxt wk for a special occasion =)..

Then dun think other thing else happened yesterday nite liaox..

Sunday (08/04/07)

Went for driving lesson today.. Today was a different instructor, but I recognised the car no.. It was my first driving lesson car number, and I didnt like the instructor..

But thank goodness when the lesson started, it was another instructor.. Can see tat this guy has not so much of education (maybe only until Sec 4 or sumthing).. He spoke to me Mandarin mixed with English thru'out the lesson.. Even sometimes, his right and left turns were also in Mandarin.. but thank goodness I had grasped how to differentiate between both directions in Mandarin.. so ya..

This instructor I had today doesn't scold and its good.. but he is a bit "too easy".. its like he didnt pinpoint tat I brake too hard (becos almost all I had a bit of hard-braking).. so ya..

And today whilst driving, my car "backside" almost hit another car, becos he taught me ahead of how to drive on slopes.. super scary lahx.. need to coordinate so many things.. I was so tense at tat moment.. and this was NOT only 1 time.. it actually repeats 3-4 times.. super stressed!

Then you koe wat's worse? He forgot to put the 'L' plate sign on the front and back of my car, until one of his other instructors called him and told him abt it.. so ya..

Quite scared lahx.. leg of course almost cramp.. hahax..

Came home and then on this computer and blog lohx..

Oh.. I managed to figure out how to solve my Pinnacle Hollywood FX software liaox.. I actually went to Pinnacle website and dl a software patch.. I actually let Tjow saw my software but he cldnt solve it too.. so he suggested I send email over to Pinnacle and ask them abt it!

So tats what I did and I manage to find out tat on a list of FAQs, there are ppl asking abt the same question as well.. so I saw this patch.. and see like no harm trying, so I dl, and followed instructions.. and viola! It worked perfectly! =).. So I guess I'm more knowledgable than the ppl at Challenger's Customer Service huh! =)

Ok lah.. I gtg and bathe liaox.. Got worship prac at church later.. then its the Easter Dinner.. Yummy! =)

Fed up!

Ok.. I'm totally fed up with my Pinnacle Studio software!!

Went down to Funan Challenger and collected the software.. Apparently they test and like no problem.. but then its like when I come home and do the same on my computer, the problem starts again.. and its like I just realised tat they may have not activated certain software.. so ya.. Totally sian-age lahx.. I thought I can do it today, but then this thing happened again..

And the person who was working on my software case was at the sales floor when I went today, and then another colleague of his served me.. and this guy was like give me tat stern look.. not friendly at all lahx.. its like as if he wants to eat me up anytime..

But anyway, Tjow agreed to take a look for me and she shall see wat he can do lohx.. Juz hope he can help me solve the problem lahx..

Other than that, nothing really happen at work.. except that today my senior was on leave, so I had to do everything.. I afternoon wrap those jellies until I handache sia! hahax..

Ok lah.. gtg and sleep liaox.. Got to wake up super early and go to church tml for Good Friday service.. and after its family time! I think I'm gonna get my Crumpler bag.. this time, its bigger! Ha.. Will tell you all when I have the time ya! =)

Oh.. for your ppl info, I got my Challenger membership today as well! =)

Work is super busy for me..

Well.. the past 3 days have been a busy one for me..

Everything to me seems to be in a rush.. Then production is also high, so therefore every night come home like real late, and therefore can't do anything else.. except to read my newspapers and bathe and then sleep for the day, and then start all over again..

Workers are as usual a headache for me.. Sometimes good whilst sometimes bad lahx..

Oh.. then juz as I was typing this blogpost, Challenger called and they told me tat my disk has no problems.. I further confirm with them, then they realise they never solve it.. So I ask for the person who served me (as I felt he knew my case better than others), and I talk to him for quite a while, before he said he got what I mean and he agreed to go check it out further before calling me back to go collect my software.. so ya.. Great fellow and he has great customer service as well.. The guy who served me is totally commendable lahx! =)

Ok lahx.. got to go and achieve my other stuff liaox..

And I'm still waiting for my newurbanmale membership! =)

newurbanmale, here I come!

Well.. today is Tjow's birthday, so here's wishing him, "Happy Birthday Tjow!"..

Before I continue, I wish to announce that I'm now a proud member of newurbanmale! =).. Everything I buy in the shop, I'm entitled to 10% discount! =).. so ya.. judging I love some of the selective stuff over there, getting 10% discount is like heaven lahx! =)

This is one of the stuff tat I always wanna get from newurbanmale. And its like I was at newurbanmale @ Vivocity, when I was at Starbucks and directly opposite me, I saw a new shop, newurbanmale.. Immediately, I told my newurbanmale buddy, Hannah (becos she is also a fan of newurbanmale apparels), and we went to the shop after our coffee.. It was a fruitful trip for me, and she got shock tat I buy my stuff juz like tat without considering.. so ya.. =) But this is nice lahx!... Gonna wear it out soon whenever I have the opportunity! =)

Today was my Youth leaders retreat at one of the fellow leaders' hse.. It was a fruitful session.. Its been a while since I discovered so much abt myself.. =).. I must say it was a refreshing and fruitful time at the retreat lahx! =)

Then we had a wonderful fusion meal.. when I get the pics, I'll show you all? Alvin, I'm counting on you again! =)

Oh.. my driving this morning was fabulous! I got the same havoc driver (who has taught me 3 wks liaox), and last wk, I juz got a scolding from him, tat becos I stopped for 2 wks, I cldnt remember whatever he taught me..
But this week was different! I was like go see my normal chart, and then I saw his car number, and immediately I felt a sigh of relief, becos its like I koe he wld bring me to the roads, or else I wld forget almost everything again.. but on the other hand, I was stressed tat he wld scold me like becos I didnt follow his instructions or remember any of them..

In fact, this wk he praised me for improving liaox! I was happy lahx! I drove to Tampines area today, and yes.. it was raining, and it was the first time driving in the rain.. super stress lahx! And guess wat.. 2 stupid drivers (one was a taxi and another was a private car) actually played punk with me..
The taxi actually like sudden overtake me and stop 100m ahead of me, and I was in gear 4.. and I was not very "zai" to change downgear, and it was pouring.. so ya.. I was already very nervous, and this happens.. of course, I kan cheong, and then car kenna stalled.. dun koe why..
Then as if its not enuf, there is this private car who likw suddenly swive into my lane of driving (which if I'm not wrong, he came from the right turn and juz came in front of me..).. My instructor of course got fef up and horned at the fellow.. so ya.. well.. guess a lot of qualified drivers look down on L-plate drivers like us.. haix.. but I'm not complaining.. He said I'm improving, and its like striking gold liaox.. hahax =P..

Ok lah.. gtg and sleep liaox.. too tired.. tml still have to work.. Sianx.. =(
