Well.. yes! another episode of the food blog! The photo u see in this blog is called "Coupe Cheesecake" which is available at Bakerzin!
"Coupe Cheesecake" is a combination of 2 scopes of cheese ice-cream, carefully drizzled with generous servings of strawberry sauce and top with whipped cream, accompanied by sprinklings of finely crush biscuits and pitachios. This will definately appeal to your senses and a love item for those tangy tastebuds of yours!
well.. how's my description of the dessert?? Pls note tat this is NOT made up! Its my own description in my own words! Not bad huh?? enuf to whip your appetite??
Well.. after saying so much, did not mention why i ate this dessert! The reason why I ate this dessert is to give my family a treat at Bakerzin becos' my 21yrs old birthday juz pass mah! =)
Had a good time eating though, although I'm feeling a bit guilty becos' of eating these fatty and rich stuff! haiz.. but who cares! ha.. food will always be my first love!
A few days back, I ate a sandwich at Starbucks Coffee for teatime..my dad's treat! I think its call roasted chicken patini.. something like tat.. The bread served to you is hot and the outside of the bread is cripsy but inside is soft.. its NOT baguette.. its a different kind of bread altogether. anyway, the fillings inside is chicken mixed with mustard and mayonnaise, and in between, it has slices of cucumbers and chopped onions! Its yummy I muz say!
well.. i think this wld be one of those last few blogs u will see this week, becos' I wont be back frm camp until Sat.. yes, becos serve my extra and duties as well as my P1.. so ya..

Interesting dish!
allo!! well.. today's blogpost will make u hungry, becos' this blogpost wld mainly talk abt FOOD! my all time fave topic!!
anyway, the picture u see in this blogpost is called "Empress Sweet Potato Wedges" which is available @ Noodle Hut Restaurant (a subsidary company of "The Mum's Cuisine"), United Square Shopping Centre, Singapore.. This dessert costs a merely $6.90 and its quite a reasonable price!
Well.. the preparation of this dish is simple:
(1) simply cut up a few sweet potato into wedges.
(2) deep fry them till golden brown..
(3) to give the finish touch (and also the nice appearance), sugar is melted and poured on top of the deep-fried wedges.
(4) garnish the dessert with some sesame seeds.
(5) Decorate it with flower-shaped carrots and few leaves of Chinese celery (optional)
yupz.. the above is the prepared method loh! detailed huh..
yupz.. went there for dinner juz now with family to celebrate my 21st birthday..
was originally slated to go to the International Buffet, but then, we did not koe we need to reserve b4 we start eating or else, we can't get a seat!! well.. stupid restaurant! haiz.. but was happy to go to "Noodle Hut" lah..

Now the verdict.. the PRICE! Wat I can say is tat the price is quite reasonable ($70+), considering we ate 11 dishes altogether..
The ambience there is also not too bad.. if you free, u can go and take a look and eat there if you wish!
well.. guess wat!! I'm on duty tml so need to leave hse like 20mins time.. but all rite, becos' Sunday, I'm coming back again and yes!! I'm going out but where?? I dun koe! so ya..

Happy Belated 21st Birthday to me!
well.. first and foremost, i wld like to thank the various ppl who has wished me Happy Birthday thru the various means of technology!! Thank YOU so much!! Was extremely touched and I appreciate it a lot!! Be rest assured of it ya.. =)
anyway, today was like quite a lousy day, despite tat today i bk out and book in only tml before 11.59pm! well.. i kenna punish today lah BUT i got punished for nothing!! well.. long story.. dun wish to brood on it.. well.. my punishment is sign 1 extra (which means my 'off' day is burnt loh.. tat is, afthe day i dismount, its suppose to be my off day, but then, becos i sign extra, this means i have until 5pm to sleep.. then go back to do duty with another shift and i do it until the next day loh! haiz.. ='(
to forget abt this sad issue, i went to catch a movie with my friend.. and guess wat movie we watched!! its "Miss Congeniality 2: Armed & Fabulous".. i tell u.. this is a really GOOD show.. moreover, its value-for-money!! its close to 2 hrs long!! and its super funny and more action loh!! so if u have caught the first episode of Miss Congeniality, then this is the movie for you! This is one movie YOU have to catch!! dun watch is ur loss!
well.. tml going out with family to celebrate my belated birthday.. so ya.. happy only sia!

Orchard City Church
Hi again! Its me again blogging.. well.. bk out today becos' yesterday was on 24-hr shift! This morning, the new trainees for the Field Defence Course (FDC) came to my air base for their 12-wk training (I took mine at Paya Lebar Air Base!).. they will embark on the same s**t I went thru'out the 12 weeks at Paya Lebar Air Base!! *evil laugh*.. My sergeant purposely put me to guard main gate, as he say I am *ahem* zai.. well.. dun koe how true lah..
Yesterday duty at camp also quite slack, but for me, its tiring! I did a foot prowling (which is walking ard camp to guard lah.. but of course, there are various checkpts to see whether we laze ard or not) at 3pm and mind u, this is my FIRST duty of the day!
Then I rested from 4pm (becos' foot plough done within an hour!) to 7pm, before standing 4hrs (ie, till 11pm) at main gate.. doing nothing and juz stare at the gate becos' Sunday who want to come in and stuff.. You may think its ok, but standing 4hrs is NO joke! The time seems to crawl slowly and ur shoulder wld hurt like mad becos' we had our SBO on (weighing at least 2-3kg) and our rifle (which is about 1kg).. so the total weight on our backs while doing duty is like 3-4kg.. 1hr won't hurt.. the pain wld start to set in when u do it like for close to 2hrs!! so imagine 4hrs, how hurtful my shoulder wld be!
Then after which, i went to sleep from 11pm and woke up like 4.40am to get ready for my 5am duty and guess wat!! I did another 4hrs of standing gate (ie, from 5am-9am).. but then, i did not stop at 9am.. i did for like another 30mins, becos' the mounting shift have to like come and take over me b4 I can go off! so even now as I write this blogpost, my shoulders still hurt a bit!
So my nxt bk-in wld be tml morning b4 7.30am.. early but nvm.. i get to come home and sleep and tat is the best! nothing beats sleeping on ur bed rite?? I'm sure you all wld agree to this statement!
Well.. you may wonder why my blogpost is entitled the name of a church! This is becos' I'm changing church!! Well.. dun get the wrong idea tat I'm church hopping and stuff.. its juz tat my former church (Hougang Christian Centre) has recently merged with the church mentioned in the title, to form a parish.. but under the same pastor.. previously, my pastor has to like run to two different places on 2 different days.. so now, its easier for him..
And now, my church services wld NO longer be on sun, but on sat instead at orchard area! But the best part is tat I wld join the Youth Service over there.. been longing to attend one, so now, my wish is like came true!! moreover, i koe a few youths over there and we are like best friends.. so ya.. used to see them like only during church camps/anniversary celebrations (this means only see them like 2-3times a year!).. but now, we can see each other on a more often basis! Yeh!! however, i dun think i can attend every Youth Service.. probably only once or twice a mth.. becos' of my duty schedules at camp..
So for this wk's Youth Services I'll attend this mth are 2/4 and 23/4! a bit sad but tat's how life goes!
I'm going to celebrate my 21st birthday on either this thurs (24/3) or fri (25/3) with my family.. so thank God my sgt agreed to let me NOT do Priority 1 (P1) on fri.. I actually volunteered for P1 for tues (22/3) but then, i think my sgt forgotten (even though I've told him like on sun) abt it, so he is like not willing to substitute me in.. so he no choice.. so he told me say this wk I dun need to serve P1, but need to do it for the next 2 wkends (which is sun-3/4 and sat-9/4), so i no choice loh.. haiz.. but wat to do? Wo hai zai dang bing.. haiz.. =(
but well.. i think this blogpost is long enuf.. im sure u dun want to read any longer posts from me rite?? so ya.. i shall end here.. and maybe blog tml becos tml i bk-out after 5pm but return back to camp before 11.59pm on the SAME day becos' Im on duty on wed (23/3), which is my birthday!! argghh... ok.. i shall stop!

Maris Sediya!
Hi.. here am I again! Before I cont., "Maris Sediya" is a command in Malay which commands everyone on the parade square to stand at attention..
ok.. juz came back from camp but have to bk in later tonite before 11.59pm becos' I'm on duty tml.. haiz.. this morning woke up like 5.15am juz to reach camp before 8am for a lesson which we had done last time (but today lesson is the practical part.. total waste of my time!!) but guess wat!! we did not moved the place until like 8.45am.. stupid rite.. ask us to fall in so early but then 8.45am then leave.. haiz..
before the lesson start, the GOH selection was on, and I got selected (dun koe izzit becos' of my height or they see the potential in me or something else).. I dun even koe whether to be happy or sad.. but then, i also heard rumours tat this chosen GOH thing is a prelimary round.. after which, they wld start kicking ppl out becos' either its too many ppl or they are not good enuf.. but watever it is, I'll let God decide wat's best for me!
Oh.. i want to make a complain to Translink office.. I got my NS Concession EZ-Link Card and I wanted to buy the bus concession e-pass, but then, I need to pay $3 to activate the card.. this is so weird loh.. y muz pay money to activate the card?? waste money!! argghhh.. but then, no choice.. i have to use.. so have to pay.. =(..
I koe u all sure say $3 only.. so miser! but well.. I juz dun understand the rationale for this $3 activation fee loh.. haiz.. Singapore everything also money.. arrgghhh!
Oh.. MSN Messenger users, there is a new version of MSN out in the website and ready for dl!! it somehow has more features than the one u having in the com now (i believe u are using MSN Messenger Version 6.2)?? Am supposed to go for my celebratory 21st birthday dinner later before I bk-in, but then sumthing happen to my grandma.. so my mum postponed it next week ='( *tears*.. haiz.. dun mention abt it lah.. disappointed sia!

OJT finally done!! Hooray!
well.. yes.. my OJT (On Job Training) officially finish today.. so tat means frequent bk-outs and priviledges wld be given (for eg: going to canteen instead of cookhouse).. but then, there are days where I would not be able to come home on the third day after 5pm becos' I'm the Priority 1 force!! well.. dun really koe how to explain.. if u want to koe more, juz ask and I will tell!! =)
this wk was a so-so week.. juz dismount today and had to go back tml for some lessons (which is so unnecessary and waste of time) and NDP'05 GOH (National Day Parade 2005 Guard-Of-Honour) contingent selection!! well.. u may think its such a great thing to be in GOH.. however, it appears NOT loh!! becos' of the strict discipline of the drills by my company's RSM (Regimental Sergeant Major) and other stuff!! even though the training hours wld be 8am-5pm and from mon-fri, but then, sometimes, weekends wld have to be burnt as will go for practices!! its NOT easy i tell u!!
However if I'm not chosen for GOH, my duties in camp wld also be as worst, as it wld be 1 day mount and 1 day dismount and it starts all over again.. currently, my schedule is 1 day mount, 1 day dismount (can go home!), 1 day stand-by (bk in this day before 7.45am and if you NOT priority 1 force, then you can go home after 5pm but bk in before 11.59pm).. but if 1 day mount and 1 day dismount, this means tat the day we dismount, we wld need to come back before 11.59pm on the SAME day.. so no sleep at home.. and this wld cont for abt. 3 mths and i tell u, its tiring loh!!
So now I'm leaving this matter up to God as to let Him choose for me the right choice.. so pray for me along this area ya?? will tell ya the results on my selection of GOH on mon..

Well.. the photo you see in this blogpost is taken with my Nokia 6230! You may wonder how this is done!! well.. simple! Its juz a job of using a DKU-2 cable (which simply is a data cable lah!).. well.. this is a 65K camera.. so ya.. dun expect it to be so good!! but this is good enough rite?? =)

Anyway, this week at camp is more or less gives us a feeling of how our future 2yrs at Sembawang wld be like! it is quite tiring.. in a sense tat i did 12hrs duty.. it may not seem like a lot.. but then, its tiring.. becos' in between rests are the most 3 hrs! the worst time to do duty is frm the period of 1am-5am.. i did a shift of 1am-3am.. not easy.. haiz..
however, the worst thing is tat even though duties are done in the day, at nite, there is also drills.. but then, last fri, we did NOT do drills becos' some ppl bk out liaoz.. so no drills loh!!
well.. this wk is more or less the same!! but the sad thing is tat my 21st birthday is next week, but then, im doing duty on my birthday itself.. haiz.. wat to do?? ='( *tears*
btw, the photo u see in this blog is taken at Coffee Bean Cafe, Serangoon Gardens.. celebrated my sis birthday yesterday and went to Coffee Bean to drink coffee loh!! Ordered the usual, "The Ultimate".. shiok ah.. I request them NOT to grind the beans so fine, as I want to bite the chocolate coated coffee-beans in the ice-blended drink itself!! Coffee Bean nerdies, u shld koe wat I'm talking abt rite! =)

the worst of all is tat I did NOT recover frm my sleep yet, becos' stayed up quite late (1am to be precise)yesterday to do my ppt slides for my special song in church today.. woke up like 7.30am this morning for church.. even now as I write this blog, I felt like sleeping.. *yawn*
well.. trust tat u will pray for me abt the usual stuff u pray for me lah hor.. lazy to type but also want to save time to do other stuff!! time is precious! esp. if you need to bk in later! =)
so im not even sure whether im able to blog this wk, becos' im not even sure when im bking out!! so ya..watever it is, you take care!!

Anyway, this week at camp is more or less gives us a feeling of how our future 2yrs at Sembawang wld be like! it is quite tiring.. in a sense tat i did 12hrs duty.. it may not seem like a lot.. but then, its tiring.. becos' in between rests are the most 3 hrs! the worst time to do duty is frm the period of 1am-5am.. i did a shift of 1am-3am.. not easy.. haiz..
however, the worst thing is tat even though duties are done in the day, at nite, there is also drills.. but then, last fri, we did NOT do drills becos' some ppl bk out liaoz.. so no drills loh!!
well.. this wk is more or less the same!! but the sad thing is tat my 21st birthday is next week, but then, im doing duty on my birthday itself.. haiz.. wat to do?? ='( *tears*
btw, the photo u see in this blog is taken at Coffee Bean Cafe, Serangoon Gardens.. celebrated my sis birthday yesterday and went to Coffee Bean to drink coffee loh!! Ordered the usual, "The Ultimate".. shiok ah.. I request them NOT to grind the beans so fine, as I want to bite the chocolate coated coffee-beans in the ice-blended drink itself!! Coffee Bean nerdies, u shld koe wat I'm talking abt rite! =)
well.. bking in later in the nite.. bk in before 2359 in my air base.. tml morning doing duty.. haiz.. tml nite got drills some more.. tml is more or less combination of all drills all at once.. tiring sia..

Relak one corner...
Well.. u muz be surprised.. y this wk so special.. write my blog at this time?? well.. this is becos' I got a long wkend.. bking in early tml.. so ya.. I've got a posibility tat I won't be bking out for the nxt 2 wks.. so ya..
anyway, below this blog, there are other 2 photo blogs.. wld appreciate if you cld read it?? =)
actually not much to say becos' wat I want to say is in the Wed's blog already.. but probably need some prayer requests.. here goes..
(1) will have drills @ nite.. and its those tiring kind.. morning need to do duty summore.. so ya.. pls. pray for strength to cont./carry out the drills at nite! Pls. also pray tat the drills NO tekan!!
(2) got my shift members and sergeants already.. pls. pray tat there wld be NO back-stabbing and the sgts wld be good.. I WON'T get into any type of trouble or scolded by sgts or worse still, the sgt major! becos' any punishments by sgt major wld either be a charge or many confinements!! so ya..
(3) becos' of my schedules, I wont be able to go to church often.. so pls. pray tat at least, I'll be able to attend church fornightly at least lahz.. =)
i think tat shld be all... appreciate ur prayers for me!!
so i shall cya again when i cya huh..

Sembawang Air Base.. here I come!!
Well.. sorry for not updating over the wkend.. becos' i was too busy over the weekend and by the time i come home, its time to bk-in!!
oh.. b4 I cont, I wld like to announce tat I've got a camera phone (Nokia 6230) to be exact!! It's my 21st birthday present to myself!! as you all koe tat Nokia 6230 is my dream phone.. so I got it!! now very happy!! yeh!! but I spent quite a bomb on it though!! spend almost half a K ($433 to be exact!) on it.. but never mind.. my 21st birthday only comes once in a lifetime!! so ya.. i'm so happy!! I'm so happy!!
Oh.. b4 I forget..do an advert first for M1!

anyway, last wkend, I spent time with my aunty who is from melbourne and she is guest-staying at our house..
then last sun nite bk-in for mon's POP.. everyone's spirits was high, as it marks the end of FDC (Field Defence Course) @ Paya Lebar Air Base.. but tat day we are supposed to bk-out early (like 1-2pm in the afternoon).. but in the end, becos' of waiting for our posting, we waited till like 7pm then we bk-out WITHOUT knowing our posting!! so we came back the next morning (which is yesterday) for our posting.. which I was chosen to stay at Paya Lebar.. but then, becos' of so many ppl, I became a pending case.. so then i bk-out at 5.45pm yesterday and went home.. and came back to Paya Lebar Air Base this morning at 7.30am but the posting didn't come out like till 1pm in the afternoon.. they made us wait so long..
whilst waiting for the posting, we went for lunch at the Cookhouse.. but then, i've got NO mood to eat, becos' i am worried abt. my posting..
juz as we finish our meal and rest in the waiting area, a Sembawang Air Base tunnel (for those who dun koe wat is a tunnel, its actually like a sheltered truck used to drive army soldiers and stuff) was waiting at our base.. and then I heard my name being called.. so there I leave Paya Lebar and embark on a new journey to Sembawang Air Base.. heard the training/duties there not so siong as Paya Lebar.. not sure how true is tat!!
well.. I've got mixed feelings as to whether leaving Paya Lebar is good.. becos of the pros and cons..
The pros is tat its near my house (very near!! just 15mins cab journey from my house!! its tat near!), I get a guaranteed 2 wkends (fri-sun) off every mth, the schedules for duty are good, and, air-conditioned bunks!
The cons is tat there are 2 very bad superiors in flight which I can't stand!! well.. shall not divulge details as it may be sensitive.. but ya.. generally, all ppl tat are posted to Flight in Paya Lebar CANNOT stand the 2 superiors.. ya.. its tat bad!! they treat u inhumanly is wat I can describe them!!
my cpl as me this morning whether I want to stay.. after thinking thru', I firmly said no and told him the reasons!! he persuaded me and if i say yes, he will recommend me to be in Paya Lebar for sure.. but as to whether I get into Paya Lebar is another matter, becos' my name was NOT originally on the Paya Lebar list as of this morning (after some minor posting re-shuffling)..
i was really hoping for chong pang (which is in Yishun and its an 8-5 RP job).. moreover my cousin is also there.. but too bad loh.. God wants me to be in Sembawang Air Base.. so wat can I do?? haiz.. but really muz thank God for taking me out of Paya Lebar!! but one thing bad abt. Sembawang is tat the walking distance from the camp to the main road bus-stop outside is at least a 10-15mins walk!!its tat far! but later when bk-in, going to take a cab.. reckee how much and how long it take to reach camp.. so in case of any emergencies, can take cab!
The bunk is so hot and dusty!! man... dun koe how am I going to sleep tonite!!
oh wait!! today is wed and u may wonder y am I at home!! why aren't I in camp u may ask! well.. I've got a nite's out (given permission by my OC) to do admin stuff and bring necessary things to camp, but the bad thing is i have to be back at camp before 10.30pm.. so ya.. but at least better than nothing lah!!
