except that today i led worship in church.. and I've got someone who agreed to support me in my mission trip.. but of course, not her alone lahz.. got others, but they have not reply me yet.. so yupz.. was so happy when i receive the news.. so God is good all the time, and all the time, God is good!

hi.. this shld be a short one.. becos' my eyes want to shut liaoz..

anyway, after i ended my blog update today, i went for my mission trip seminar and mtg.. apparently, there is suppose to have a team mtg today.. however, becos' almost half the team is not here, therefore, they postpone it to 27/3/2004, which explains the NEW countdown event!! so yupz..

i was so surprise to see my church mate, Nicholas, also joining Gen12ii (which is the name of my mission trip).. however, he joining the local one, called Teen Challenge.

then after tat, met up huimin jie at Serangoon NEL station, as we are going for cell bbq at one church member's hse at serangoon garden! so yupz.. so coincidentally, we met my parents in the bus.. so yupz..

then had a bbq session lohz.. had fellowship.. so yupz.. and after tat, came home and bathe and now do this blog update..

and guess wat.. will be crashing in 5 mins time.. too tired liaoz..

I'M LOVIN IT!! I'M LOVIN IT!!

Good evening.. well.. the title says it so.. I'm Lovin it!! I'm Lovin it!! Becos' i love today so much.. its probably one of my happiest days since this yr, 2004.. but i spend a lot today though.. think its close to $200/= !!
anyway, here is a brief look of wat i did today..

as usual, went out with my pal, Jingxian..

So here goes.. my diary for today..

* In the morning, went with Jingxian to SIR building.. becos' I need to extend my passport for my mission trip in June.. so yupz..

* After tat, we went to Plaza Singapura to catch the movie, "Big Fish".. its was a good movie!! no kidding!! the $7.50 that I pay for the movie is worth every single cent!! Moreover, its a 125 mins movie.. so yupz..

anyway, this movie is a so-called reflective movie.. so here are my thoughts after watching the movie.. there are 2 things..

(1) Look at your life journey in a more optimistic way, even though it may be bad, and from there, you would definately be happier.

but the most impt lesson is not above.. its the one below!!

(2) What do you want people to say of you when you are at your deathbed?? Do you want people to praise you or wat?? do you want the people whom you have touched their lives or made a great impact on, come to your funeral??

well.. this thought has been lingering in my mind for about 10 mins after the movie has ended.. its that reflective!!

I cried at the end of the show.. it was tat touching.. now thinking of it, i almost feel like crying.. I'm actually a very sentimental person.. dun koe y.. probably its my nature.. so ya.. go and see it ya?? =)

* Well.. enuf of crying.. anyway, after the movie, we went to Great Treats foodcourt (the ONLY thai foodcourt at the basement of Meridian Hotel).. as usual, I ate pad thai and jingxian ate char kuay teow.. i let him tried the pad thai and he said nice.. so yupz.. a recommendation for you.. go there and try the pad thai.. very nice..
(btw, this recommendation originally came from my jie, huimin.. so yupz.. thank you!!)

* After tat, we went to get my Levi's 512 jeans and I'm proud to say that I'm a owner of a Levi's 512 jeans!! Yippie!! =)

Well.. cannot wait liaoz.. the thought of it makes it excited and want to buy.. so i went to buy yesterday.. The first time i tried and saw was at Levi's @ Takashimaya.. however, they dun have stock.. so they call me to go to Isetan Wisma and find out whether is there any.. so there I went.. and again, there are NO stock.. that time, i was really praying hard manz.. but the salesperson so helpful.. he help me call quite a few stores and found out that Levi's @ Isetan Scotts (Lido Theatre) has wat I wanted.. so being the kan-cheong me, therefore, I ask them to help me reserve.. so there I went to Levi's @ Isetan Scotts and got my jeans lohz.. the salesperson there let me try 2 types.. ($119.50 and $149.50).. the $149.50 is the 2nd process jeans, tat is to say its more comfortable but different material and different price.. but i decide not to buy, becos' they caution that the 2nd process jeans may not last as long as the $119.50 becos' of the processing.. so i in the end, bought the $119.50 pair.. not bad.. this $119.50 one has a bit of processing... so its a bit smoother.. so ya.. but the salesperson say if wash more, it will become like the 2nd process one.. so yupz.. so yupz.. moreover, got FREE levi's lanyard.. not bad but got a bit defect.. =).. nvm.. not so useful anyway..hahaz.. =)

* After tat, we went to esplanade library to chill out from like 5+pm-7pm.. so comfortable lohz.. then we decide to go to one of the cafes in esplanade to eat our dinner.. after deciding for so long, we decide to go to California Bistro and had our dinner.. we had our dining in Al-fresco style, becos' we want to listen to live band performance.. but instead, the music turns out to be a disappointment.. they say they play jazz.. but its more like pop instead... haiz.. so anyway, we shared our appetizers and desserts together.. and the main course, we each have our own.. I recommend Jingxian to eat the steak (at medium rare.. he actually want to eat medium-done but i told him to try medium rare.. so of course, he said nice lahz.. all thanx to my good recommendation.. chey!)

so anyway, his side dish was mash potato while mine was potato salad.. and it turns out that the mash potato is nicer than the potato salad.. haiz.. disappointment manz.. i actually wanted to eat steak, but decide not to in the end, becos' since Jingxian is ordering, i choose something different.. so i ate chicken instead.. so yupz.. was not bad.. but the portions were a bit big.. at first, we were like seeing the plate, so small portion.. just 1 piece of meat with a serving of our side dishes.. and in the end, we were full when even our plates were only half-done.. so yupz.. probably its the meat and potato.. both full of carbos.. so yupz..

for dessert, i manage to convince Jingxian to share with me a cranberry bread and butter pudding with vanilla sauce.. we both agree its nice.. so yupz.. but i ate most of it, becos' he said he was full.. i was actually thinking not to finish everything lohz.. becos' i was also full, but dun waste full mahz.. so yupz..

so we sat and talk lohz.. we talk everything that is under the sun.. so the bill after 5% GST, 10% service charge and 1% cess charge, it came up to be about $55.. quite a reasonable deal.. considering we ate so many things.. so yupz.. =)

PS: a piece of advice.. if u want to go to esplanade and hv ur meal, go during wkends.. becos' the ambience there is better becos' of the outdoor music and all.. so yupz.. =)

*after tat, we went back from esplanade and came home lohz.. so by the time i reached home, its about 10.30pm liaoz.. after bathe and packing everything, its close to 12 midnight.. but then, i cont. to do my Firmenich thing to collate, etc.. so did until like 12.45am, then i slept....

Saturday (28/2/2004)

Well.. woke up at about 8am and again, do my Firmenich thingy.. manage to finish it liaoz.. then do some miscelleous work and now, with this blog update..

later going for my mission trip fund-raising seminar from 2pm-4pm.. thought today gonna see my whole team.. but apparently, someone called me to tell me tat becos' of unforeseen circumstances, therefore, the team can't meet today.. so yupz.. a bit sad.. but wat to do?? haiz.. =(

k.. gtg liaoz n have my lunch..

will probably blog and update you all of the cell bbq that i have tonite ya?? can't eat too much.. becos' tml i worship lead.. haiz.. =(

NOT ENOUGH SLEEP!!

anyway, slept at 5am this morning and crawl myself out of my bed at 9am to go to school for FYP.. all becos' i'm doing my tabulation of lychee beverage results.. which is to do a favour for my teacher and get ONLY cca pts! CCA pts to me is NO use lohz.. but have to oblige my lecturer, becos' she is my FYP teacher.. haiz..

so anyway, i did it from 10pm-5am, and do 6 different drinks tabulation; average, 1 hr for 1 drink tabulation.. can die ah!! whether vertical or horizontal, ALL must match.. so have hard time lohz.. but glad I finish it..

so today at school for FYP, ate 10 char siew paos.. eat until i scared.. serious!

then tml going out whole day.. spend some more quality time with my best buddy, Jingxian.. plan to buy my Levi's jeans tml!! so happy!! at last!! have manage to raise the money to buy lohz.. =)..

also plan to have lunch and dinner at esplanade.. dun koe whether is this possible but ya.. will c tml.. so excited about tml's outing!! hahaz.. =)..

k.. gtg to do my other stuff, or else, i really sleep in front of my computer.. as I'm writing this blog update, my eyes want to close liaoz lohz.. *using toothpicks to put between eyelids!*

Shopping, Shopping & more shopping !!

I'm beginning to think that I'm a metrosexual.. A metrosexual of wat I koe, is actually men who likes to shop for clothes, etc...

well.. did some shopping today for computer, clothing & cd with my BEST sec sch buddy, Jingxian.. moreover, he stay opp. my block only.. its a funny way of how we met lahz.. =).. too lazy and long to elaborate.. dun want u all to read old grandpa story.. hahaz.. =P

but in the end, i just bought a cd.. and of course, it is a jazz CD.. but this is a different type of jazz.. its SAMBA (or u can simply put it as brazil music).. CD quite worth the price.. 2 Cd's for $24.95.. so yupz.. will let u sample the music when i'm free to do up my new blog.. so be prepared for it yah?? =)

then, at last, we went to Levi's shop in Takashimaya.. there, i tried my Levi's 512 jeans.. its sooooooooooo comfortable !!!! but the price also beri "nice".. it costs $120/= (there are actually cheaper prices but of the same model, ie, 512. However, the $120/= pair is more processed, that is to say that it is softer.. so therefore it is MORE COMFORTABLE than the cheaper version..) so that's y, i put it in my wish list.. anyway, the specifics are there.. including waist size tat i tried today and its suitable.. so if u can buy me one, i wld be grateful to you.. hehe.. *hint* *hint*.. birthday coming on 23/3.. hahaz.. =P

anyway, will c how my budget goes.. may buy it next mth.. see how first lahz..

but b4 we went to Orchard, we went to Sim Lim Square.. I actually want to buy a new computer and went to check out the prices.. however, jingxian recommend me one shop and say he can get me a good computer, but less than $2,000.. but apparently, it was closed !! so we shop round Sim Lim and look at other shops lohz.. =)

after tat, took NEL to Plaza Singapura and had lunch.. but u're wrong! I did NOT have Yong Tau Foo.. I had Burger King instead.. so yupz.. =)

after tat, we went to Taka and look at Levi Jeans lohz.. (see story a few paragraphs above)..

ya.. after tat, came home.. watch TV and rot.. and now, in front of com writing this blog update, as well as to cont. doing my church camp publicity ppt 2 !! yupz.. another sleepless nite for me tonite again.. =)

I FEEL TREMORS!! Ahh..

well well.. u all seem interested in the topic of my blog today, aren't you?? anyway, will elaborate later..

so today as usual, went to church.. today's worship led by my jie..

jie, love the arrangement of singing "this is my desire".. i koe u have been inspired by ForeRunners and guess wat!! The intro is still ringing in my head as I'm writing this blog.. ha.. =).. Good Job!
jie, one more thing to commend!! like the song of "you are the one tat I love".. btw, it sounds like one of those Grease movie songs.. dun u feel hv tat kind of mood??

after service, went to Broadway Coffee Shop (in Potong Pasir) for lunch.. as usual, i ate the lemon chicken rice.. not bad!! =).. one of my church mate recommend me the tofu which is deep-fried and gravied generously with Thailand sweet & sour sauce.. very nice!! =)..
does this make ur mouth drool?? hahaz..

the reason y we went there for lunch is becos' going for committee meeting at Potong Pasir.. so yupz..

anyway, the funniest thing tat happen to me is tat wendy called me from Shanghai and I rejected it!! Sorry wendy!! Thought it was those calls which call to inform me tat i won sumthing like tat.. thought its some of the nuisance call lahz..
anyway, its connected by a operator in Shanghai so yupz.. Really sorry wendy!! didn't mean to reject ur call..
then in the end, wendy called huimin and she picked up the call lohz.. so yupz.. i was there, so its like huimin discussing some issues with wendy.. so yupz..

btw, WENDY & CARLISE, we miss you at HCC!! today's service so quiet.. no kakki to tell me lame jokes during sermons (prob except huimin).. hahaz.. but glad they come back this wk.. so yupz..

then anyway, the most interesting part came.. the tremours...

we were getting ready for our mtg (ie, wait for other ppl lahz..).. then at about 2+pm, we start to feel tat there were tremours.. before the tremour started, we were talking about earthquakes and all.. and eating chocolates at the same time..

so at about 2+pm, my dad ask whether we feel tremours.. at tat time, everyone was like quiet immediately, and stop to try to see whether there are tremours!! a minute later, i felt it.. i was sitting on a couch and i felt tat someone is like moving the couch up and dfown lohz.. its like sitting on a 4-leg chair, but all 4-legs of the chair are like loosen from the joint.. so its like when u move to the right, you wld get the feeling tat your chair is going to fall any minute.. u getcha wat I mean?? I thought i was giddy or sumthing but apparently no lohz!

then i begin to look the glass doors.. can see its vibrating lohz.. so yupz.. tat is actually the FIRST time i felt tremours in my 19yrs on Earth... later in the afternoon, they actually confirm tat there was a tremour trembling over Singapore.. scary huh.. *eeks*

then after mtg, came home and bathe.. ate dinner and then do this blog update.. so yupz..

k.. gtg.. again, have to finish up wat I have not finished yesterday nite (ie, do my worship ministry retreat things..)

O Happy Day!

allo.. =).. time for updates yah?? hehe..

anyway, today is a day where I'm quite happy lahz..

this is becos':

* my ppt of 2 nites work is being APPROVED!! Thanx God!!

* the music for my 2nd publicity ppt is actually a techno number (ie, a techno song lahz).. and surprisingly, its approved by my church pastor!! =)

I actually took a cab down to church opic for approval of ppt, becos' i was late, and the chairman of the camp needs to go soon.. so ya.. took a cab down to church opic.. its costs me $6.90!! i actually if i take the bus, i wld still be in time one.. but apparently, i missed the bus 147, becos' i dun koe wat actually distracted me, that i went to the bus interchange and not the bus-stop.. as a result, i missed my bus.. seeing it was getting late, therefore, i decide to take a cab...

i woke up late this morning, becos' i slept at 2.30am yesterday nite, becos' was frantically finding songs for my 3rd and FINAL publicity ppt.. so ya.. but thank God, did NOT manage to find, but got other resources.. so yupz..

anyway, my cab fare today is not as bad as i take cab from my hse to Temasek Poly.. this fare frm my hse to TP, can easily costs me $10-$12.. depending on the traffic.. haiz..

anyway, after the approval, stayed back in the church opic to help my dad (FYI: My dad church worker mahz.. so ya.. stayed back until 3pm+ then came home with my dad..

huimin then came early at 4.30pm to discuss with me about some issues on my teaching during the worship retreat which would be held from 9/4-11/4.. so yupz.. had a long discussion with her manz.. my head as usual, was splitting after the discussion!! but huimin-jie, good job!! Thanx for helping!! =)..

then after tat, go out to the living room for cell group.. good session.. today, got new member... and he is none other than Joshua.. =).. well.. can see he is a very sociable person.. believe he wld come back for nxt cell group!! =).. its a pleasure to have him ard.. =)

then after tat, went all went back, i on the internet and guess who i saw!! I saw Kor on MSN!! chatted with him for a while.. went to bathe and when i was back, he was like off the MSN liaoz.. never even say bye =(.. haz.. think he's tired liaoz.. its like 2 hrs faster than s'pore, at where he is staying now (brisbane.. i think!).. so yupz.. =)

then no choice.. came back online to do my other stuff, like preparing for my worship team retreat, do this blog update, etc..

Thanx for praying for me over the past wk for my term test... the papers was generally ok.. except today's paper!

today's paper is an application paper, and i HATE it!! This is the ONLY paper which when i finish my paper, i got a headache.. tat is how serious!!

anyway, the past few days have been spend studying as well as occasionally, think of ideas for my Church camp publicity ppt lohz..

so i have spent like 2 nites during my "study-test-wk" to complete the ppt lohz.. wat's left now is the approval from the chairman as well as my team mates.. however, they are now online at the moment i wrote this blog update, therefore, decide to ask huimin for her opinion.. *anxious*..

well.. tml going down to church opic to meet chairman to approve on my ppt.. hope its passable.. or else, my 2 nites' work will go to the drain!! =)

anyway, after today's paper, my clique decide to go down to have lunch.. we decided Marina Square.. i remembered junting say last time, that Marina Square's ba-chor mee is very nice.. so we went.. all the way from TP to Marina Square..

we went to this food-court, Rasa Marina (ie, the NO aire-con foodcourt) and near KFC.. have to go out the entrance near KFC, then turn left.. u wld see this foodcourt.. there, u wld see the stall, Pork Noodle.. can't remember the name.. its something like Tai Hua Pork Noodle.. they got award one..

so i ordered mee-kia dry with additional vinegar.. i say!! its heavenly manz!! u shld try!! =)

Oh yah.. i got lobang to recommend.. if u want to download songs, but dun koe wat software, go to this webby: imesh.com

it works EXACTLY like kazaa.. so yupz..

ok.. gtg and work on my ppt liaoz.. or else, tonite i dun need to sleep.. whahaha..

STRESSED!!!

slept at like 12.30am yesterday becos' i did the church camp publicity ppt.. it was all right.. except tat i got a feedback as it is a bit corny.. will see how to improve lahz.. have not see the other members of the team feedback yet.. anyway, i did the ppt for like 3 hrs lohz.. as a result, i never get to watch my MTV Awards 2004.. haiz... =(

haiz.. study the whole day (ie, revising thru' for my test tml).. thank goodness, my test is in the evening.. or else, i sure die.. =)

anyway, dun really koe how am i going to revise for my test on wed, since i'm reaching home about 6pm tml.. my gosh.. dun koe how manz.. next day, my test in on 11am somemore.. gosh..

anyway, here are my term test dates and times.. will appreciate if u cld pray for me.. thanx.. =)

* 17/2 (Tues) : Health & Wellness (3pm-5pm)
* 18/2 (Wed) : Food Processing (11am - 1pm)

A Sad Day

Haiz.. well.. feeling a bit sad now, because my kor is leaving Singapore for his studies in Brisbane.. and as I write this blog update, he is getting ready to check in.. haiz.. no friend to talk to liaoz.. no one to teach me html coding for my blogs.. haiz.. just hope he comes back soon (well.. for all i koe, he is coming back in Dec 2004).. so yupz..

anyway, today went to church at usual and at church, had a marriage renewal service for all the couples in church.. it was so romantic.. glad tat the 2 songs tat I had burned for tiffany has not gone to waste.. instead, it has really been a great part of the service.. in a sense tat the music make the whole atmosphere so romantic and grand.. just can't explain it in words.. you need to be there to experience it!! oh.. the ppt presentation made by Tiffany (showing the wedding photos of all the couples) was GREAT!! luuvveee the ppt presentation.. Good job Tiffany!! =)

after service, went out for reception.. and then i ask huimin like where did the 2 of them go for valentine's day.. she refused to tell me as she say i wld like put up on my blog.. so anyway, she did not tell me.. if u want to koe where they go, etc.. pls. visit their blog, (M.A.D.'s blog). But apparently, Derek didn't write, and huimin also didn't.. well.. guess they want to keep tat special day a secret which both of them knew.. well.. from now on, shall not write abt M.A.D. anymore liaoz, becos' I am not so free to bother about them.. moreover, they got their own blog.. so yupz.. come to think of it, this blog belongs to ME, MYSELF & I.. hence, the title.. so yupz.. huimin, now u happy?? =)

and then i talk to 2 ppl and just have a good chat with them loh.. they are Joshua and Javier (if i spelled his name correctly).. so yupz.. anyway, we talk quite a lot on primary and secondary sch stuff.. then, me being the *ahem* big kor-kor, actually tell Javier on wat are the respective polys in Singapore famous for and stuff like tat.. so yupz.. glad i managed to talk to him manz.. dun even koe how i started to treat him like my well-known bro.. hahaz.. anyway, today, i see him, i then realise he look like one of the crusade stuff, Terence Quah.. well.. its like photocopy lohz.. huimin also agreed to wat i said.. so if u koe Terence, then u wld roughly koe how does he look like.. but anyway, yupz..

well.. then after church, wendy fetched my family home... we did not have a lunch fellowship, as the reception after the service was juz simply too full... well..lazy to elaborate on the food.. =)

after came home, back to study again.. manage to finish another subject today.. so yupz.. Thank God for tat.. well.. after studying, ate my dinner and now do my blog lohz.. later at 9pm, going to watch MTV 2004 Awards at Channel i so yupz.. do my blog now..

well.. u may say wat am i doing after my blogging?? its either i start to think for my church camp publicity or find more blogskins lohz.. or i may just do both.. so yupz.. =)

anyway, today its STUDY, STUDY & MORE STUDY!!

well.. i'm at the stage of studying until i like want to pull my hair out of my head liaoz.. i'm tat stressed!!

but thank goodness, God gave me sumthing called time!! so decide to finish the other half (ie, about 21 slides) tml after church lohz.. no choice.. haiz.. =(..

anyway, i'm now writing this blog update, and at the same time, finding new blogskins as i plan to revamp my blog over my sch holidays.. most probably, this revamped blog wld be out in either a week or two..

i can guarantee u ppl tat my revamp blog would be definately 100x better than my current blog.. i found one blogskin liaoz.. quite nice features.. except tat its blue.. recently, i have a sort of fetish with blue.. hmm.. wat's with me??

anyway, yupz.. need to go and find out wat are the other blogskins available.. if not, then i guess i will use the one i found..

Hi.. it seems like 1 wk i have never blog.. but in fact, its like only 2 days!! wow.. time pass so fast..

well.. for the past few days, have been studying real hard for my term test nxt week.. for those of u who do not koe wat is term test, it is similar to secondary's school, mid-yr exam.. my final exam would take place in mid-April..

so yupz.. thank goodness i have studied finish one of the subjects yesterday.. i studied this subject for 4 days and only manage to finish this morning at 4am.. thank goodness got late tutorial at 11am.. so i like woke up like 9am in the morning and get ready to go to school.. and happen today got the subject tutorial and got spot quiz.. so yupz.. think i will fare better this time than last time, as i had studied it liaoz..

then after the tutorial, my clique went to Design School to take FREE digital photo lohz.. at first i dun koe one.. then they like go to Design School and i followed lohz.. btw, y there is such good lobang is becos' today is the 2nd day of TP Open Hse 2004.. so yupz.. so i actually hesitated to take with them one.. becos' its like so odd lohz.. one guy out of no where.. so yupz.. but in the end, took the photos.. so yupz.. manage to get the softcopy.. so look at it ya?? see my below post "photos update" for details..

well.. think i gtg soon and end this blog.. nothing much to talk about the last few days, as i like study, study and study.. even Valentine's Day will stay at home and study.. see.. i tat poor thing right?? =(

I'M A HAPPY MAN!!! weeeee..wee...wee....

Well.. u all have guess as much y i'm so happy!! becos' I'm selected for my mission trip! So happy.. have been waiting the call since morning.. waited for it the WHOLE day.. no call yet.. so yupz.. felt quite worried lohz..

then at 8.50pm, Joy (a staff from ForeRunner) called me on my handphone, and told me tat I'm selected for the mission trip!! so happy...weee... can't express how happy am I now manz..!! =)

ok.. today is so-so day lohz.. went to school.. waiting for the call the whole day and yet no call.. i was like every call, i pick up lohz.. but when see who, i get disappointed, becos' not one of the staff from ForeRunner who called.. =)

anyway, today got my editing Comm Skills test.. it was quite easy actually.. thought it would be harder.. well.. thank God for tat.. the test is supposed to be like an hour, but i finish it like 40 mins.. so yupz..

then went to do my Firmenich thingy lohz.. did it for like about 3 hrs.. then went for my FYP project progress interview.. then went to had lunch.. had lunch at Business Canteen eating Fried Rice.. while going back at my seat, saw Caleb (a crusade friend).. said hi..

after lunch, went back PC lab and do my tabulation of total results of the Firmenich thingy.. can't finish it in school, so therefore, have to bring home and do.. so yupz.. now doing it lohz...

after i came home, i immediately dig out my IT Lesson notes when I was in Year 1, as to how to play ard with formulas with MS Excel.. manage to figure it out like after 30 mins.. thank God!!

then had dinner.. tonite's dinner was yummy.. then after which, watch a bit of TV.. then on with my work lohz.. then, as i do halfway, the staff from ForeRunner called me and told me tat I've been selected.. so happy!! =)

so yupz.. gtg and do my work liaoz..

allo.. well.. my results are NOT out yet.. its just tat i'm a bit free (ie, hving a break between my studies lahz).. just finish studying my Comm Skills test tml.. juz glance thru.. not too sure wat will come out tml.. haiz..

anyway, today i was slightly late for lecture.. all thnx to my terrible stomachache tis morning.. must be the chilli stuff tat i've ate over the wkend.. stomach a bit sensitive to chilli.. so yupz.. shall not elaborate further becos' i koe its quite disgusting.. =)

anyway, thank goodness my lecturer has not start the lecture yet.. he is like dilly-dally, so yupz.. so when i've settle down and all, then he started his lecture..

so yupz.. had 3 consecutive lectures.. at least today's 3 lectures i knew wat they are toking about .. then they told us study till where for my term test.. i was like very stressed lohz.. have not started..haiz..

then, after lecture, i msg a staff of ForeRunners and ask her a thing about the revealing the results tml thing (of course, i did NOT ask her as to whether i'm chosen or not.. dun want to make myself like a kan cheong spider!).. she actually msg me back tat she will reveal the results in the nxt few days, but never say when.. so not necessarily, the results will be revealed tml.. haiz.. this wait is killing me.. arrgghh..

we actually plan to do our last thing about the lychee beverage thing lohz.. but apparently, i didn't koe tat its not complete.. so yupz..

however, we did not do it in the end, becos' one of the members from the other group (who are also tabulating the results but for other qns) forgot to bring the stack tat she is resposible for lohz.. and she told us, "i bring tml lohz.. its juz 1 day later only wat.. y u all get so fustrated?" and the tone she said it is like our fault lohz.. haiz.. can't stand such ppl.. even my team mates also feel angry.. so we decide to go home and study for our test then tml then cont. to do the tabulation...

so followed my clique to Mensa for lunch.. on the way there, i saw Paul and Marcus (both from TP crusade).. just said hi and bye lohz.. hahaz..

but apparently, there was no seats left.. there were 5 of us, and there were seats only for 4 ppl.. so i was like tired of waiting liaoz.. i myself volunteered tat they cont. eating while i go home and eat lohz.. they were like in a bit state of shock.. dun quite koe y lahz.. but anyway, went home to had lunch..

i had economical rice at S-11 coffeeshop near my hse.. i pkt my rice, bathe then ate my lunch.. then went to have my nap for 1.5hrs.. then woke up and study for my communication skills test tml then after studying for about an hr or so, came ot com, and do this blog update, as well as writing my reflection for my FYP.. due tml..

ok.. having much said.. dun koe whether i will blog tml.. just see how it goes lahz.. but if i know the results, i will DEFINATELY blog to let u all koe ya??

hi.. time for updates.. (hahaz.. doesn't this sound like time for medicine??.. LAME?? sorry..)

anyway, today actually woke up quite early.. about 6+am.. cannot sleep.. dun koe y.. then about 15mins later, i went back to sleep and got into a dream.. but just as i was about to exit my dream, my mum woke me up... and i was like arrgghhh..

i have a weird thing about me, and tat is if i'm dreaming halfway during my sleep, and when ppl wake me up, i would like so ultra tired lohz..

nevertheless, i had my breakfast.. had a run-thru' of my worship songs (to "warm up" my voice, as well as to get last min practice)..

therefore, i actually led worship in church today.. today's worship i must say tat its onlu so-so.. except for the song, "sing of your great love"... i like tat song of how it is played.. with the jazz chords tat i add in and all (chey!).. but most of all.. i really felt tat the spirit is moving in the sanctuary of my church when we sang tat song lohz.. AWESOME!! =)

after church service, i played for huimin her composed song on the piano and she record it in an MD.. dun koe for wat.. after tat, she rushed off to meet her other significant half (oops.. did i say sumthing wrong?? dun care =P).. so therefore, she did not join us for lunch..

then went for lunch at Kovan Hougang Hawker Centre (beside Heartland Mall).. i ate economical food and rice and its NOT cheap economical at all.. i ordered, 1 tau kwa dish, 1 portion of sotong and 1 portion of sweet and sour fish, and this costs me $3.70 manz.. so ex!!

tiffany gave a treat for desserts lohz.. as usual, i ate chin chow with longon and atap chee and 20 small cubes of ice, but the ice cubes were too big, so i ask the aunty to like crush it finer.. so in the end, it has about 25.57 cubes!

the dessert was not bad.. but the atap chee was too soft.. but can't complaint.. ppl give treat so muz keep my mouth shut! =(

then came back to put my barang barang before proceeding to Temasek Bolevard area.. one of the reason y we came back home was becos' my mum forgot to take her ez-link card.. so i suggested to come home lohz.. instead of paying by coins and all.. so yupz..

so came back, and change, then went out.. first stop was at Parkland Mall.. my sis wanted to buy a violin. She wanted to buy from the same shop as where huimin has bought her bass guitar from.. so yupz.. if u all want to koe wat's the shop name, it is "Novelty Bookshop".. its more of a music store rather than a bkshop.. but the owner sells stationery too..

my dad is a church worker.. so everytime he needs some stationery, he wld go to the Novelty Bookshop to buy his stuff lohz.. and everytime he comes and buy things, my dad wld get a 20% discount..

so to cut the long story short, my sis bought a violin from tat shop and she got a 30% discount (usual: $120.. paid price: $84).. good deal huh.. dun think have any brand.. so yupz..

but before coming to the Novelty Bookshop, my dad brought me to a shop called "Music Ensemble" also in Parklane shopping Mall but its level 1. Novelty Bkshop is at basement 1, beside MacDonalds.. so anyway, as i was saying, Music Ensemble is like a very class place lohz.. the grand piano and all the guitar stuff etc, as well as the ambience of the whole place just makes me filled with awe.. i can drool over the shop lohz.. it is tat nice.. i like the YAMAHA grand piano.. =)

then after tat, went over to Popular at Bras Besah, as my sis friends also wanted to get the same bk as hers.. so we (ie, my family lah) walked from Parklane to Bras Besah lohz.. of course, there were road blocks, etc.. so we were like cutting lanes or walk on roadsides and we even took a short cut by crossing thru' pedestrian restricted areas.. we were tat desperate! ha..

anyway, just as we were about the leave Popular, i saw a advance theory of driving qn and ans bk lohz.. its similar to those 10-yr series.. so yupz.. was contemplating again whether to buy it or not.. in the end, i bought it and it costs me $6.30.. was also planning to buy the advance theory bks, but think they dun have there.. so yupz.. well.. see when i'm free, then i take my advance theory.. so yupz.. study first! =)

then took bus 133 from bras besah to Suntec City.. apparently, i wanted to walk.. but my sis and parents were a bit lazy.. so we took a bus lohz..

then my sis went to YES! eyeware at Suntec City to make her specs, as it apparently had some problems.. btw, today my family is like accompanying my sis out today lohz.. not really shopping.. haiz.. =(

then my mum (at last!) went over to Nature's Farm to buy some vitamin C supplements for my family lohz.. so at last, after much consideration, she has signed up as a member, so at least can get 10% off for each visit..

then, we proceeded to dinner at Joaquim Steamboat Buffet Restaurant (its at the concourse area of Suntec City.. near the Pearl River Palance Restaurant exibit.. its near Marche.. get the picture??)

anyway, since its buffet, i have no choice but to binge lohz.. so had my fill of steamboat stuff.. but wat i'm really satisfied is eating like 1 FULL plate of Tiger prawns.. i can just cont. eating and eating and eating lohz, even though i'm full.. then after when i drink my soup (a herbal chicken soup-base for steamboat), its ultra sweet and tasty.. so nice.. =)

so anyway, even though i was quite full.. i ate desserts..

i ate

* Mango and Pomelo Juice (shiok!)
* Mango cake (not very nice)
* Strawberry Agar-agar (not too bad)

there is also an ice-kachang corner.. which of course, has my fav. atap chee... so my mum was like suggesting putting atap chee into the bowl of mango and pomelo juice.. and i ate it, and it is shiok lohz.. my sis also say very nice.. and u koe y?? becos' the atap chee are HARD ones.. very nice to chew... so actually. i had my second helping of mango and pomelo juice and most of the atap chees i took at the second helping was HARD, and i like it this way!!

wendy, i had a lot of HARD atap chees today.. neh neh ni bu bu.. hahaz..

then after tat, came back and pack my bag for tml school and then start on my blog update lohz..

dun think will blog for like until sat (14/2), coz' have to study for term test.. its in 2 wks time, and i have NOT started... ahhh..

anyway, will keep u all updated about my results of my ForeRunner's mission trip audition, and its coming out on tues (10/2).. waiting so anxiously for this day to come manz..

well.. well.. well... its tat time of the day again.. time for updates.. =)

anyway, woke up in the morning.. ate breakfast.. then read newspapers.. then started on my practical assignment on my computer.. must type it out.. very mah fun..

anyway, did the assignment for about 2 hrs.. then, bathe and went out to meet wendy, matthew & xinyi to discuss about HCC/OCC Camp Publicity at Marche at HMV..

decide to wear my NEW Gen12ii T-shirt.. was contemplating as to whether shld i wear or not.. in the end, i just dun care so much and just wear..

well.. was apparently late becos' i bathe and all lohz.. partly, is becos' i've to buy lunch for my mum, coz' she not free.. so its like 11.30am then i left the hse.. so i took bus 105 to orchard and walk from far east to Marche Restaurant at HMV, by cutting thru' Takashimaya.. of course, all by underpass lahz.. got aircon mahz.. =)

so went there like half hour late lohz.. but still manage to meet them.. so began to eat lohz..

well for starters, i ate:

* Baked Potato with sour cream (was actually contemplating whether to eat mash potato or baked potato.. well.. made the WRONG choice.. shld eat mash potato instead.. haiz..)
* Mushroom Soup (a MUST-EAT for me when at Marche)

then wanted to eat cake.. but then decide to eat something else, coz' was not really full.. so then, i proceeded to eat

* Rosti with Hunter Chicken Sausage.. (i at first thought the sausage is like incorporated into the rosti.. however, apparently it was NOT!.. its like 1 whole sausage lohz.. i actually ask the ppl at my table to share with me, but they said they are full.. so i guess i have to eat everything.. didn't want to waste the $12.90 lohz.. the rosti itself was like $4.70 and the hunter chicken sausage is like $8.20.. sausage was nice... it was ex but nice..

wanted to eat cakes after tat.. but no "space" in my tummy to contain liaoz.. so settle for a Bunderberg Rootbeer for my drink lohz..

then after tat, we started our discussion, almost half-way, one old waiter (ie, about 50+ yrs) actually came over to our table and said to us, that we are not allowed to discuss work lohz.. wendy was like so puzzled.. marche is NOT crowded at tat time, and its like quite a lot of tables are empty.. so y can't we discuss??

anyway, then, tiffany came over to our table and heard wendy's complaint.. tiffany then suggest to sit in an enclosed room (the dutch room).. so we all move in with our drinks etc lohz.. then tiffany went out to buy crepes with fruit and ice-cream, while we discuss.. and she eat real SLOW... in this case, we can discuss mahz..

well.. pity xinyi manz.. matthew always bully her.. so poor thing.. =)

so we like discuss until like 3pm.. then its time to leave lohz.. so i like pay up.. was expecting like $30+.. however, it was only like $22.50.. was thinking tat its $30+, coz' was expecting the rosti to cost like $20+ lohz... but thank goodness, it didn't !

so after tat, followed wendy and tiffany to sim lim square, as wendy's company has bought her a labtop for her use at office, as well as she is going to Shanghai & Guangzhou for business trip during 19/2-26/2.. so yupz..

but apparently, sim lim square carpark is full.. so i suggested to park at Albert Park Complex carpark.. they agreed.. but again, the sign outside was spoiled.. it did NOT indicate tat it was full.. only inside then they state.. so its like today is wendy's lucky day.. as some of us koes, wendy LOVE single lots.. so its like upon entering, one person is like leaving from the single lot, so wendy parked at the single lot lohz.. aren't she lucky?? =)

while wendy did the reparing, tiffany and i went to Skylet Enterprise to look at computer stuff.. me as usual, becos' i desperate to change com, therefore, took computer brochures from Skylet lohz.. didn't really like help.. becos' dun really koe wat it is.. asked wendy.. she also like not very sure.. so yupz.. think will shelve off the idea of buying a new com for a while.. =)

then a little while, wendy called me to go down with tiffany to meet huimin at Sim Lim Square reception counter, as huimin has bought a NEW bass guitar(!!!) and want to put in wendy & tiffany's car.. so yupz..

after putting the bass guitar in wendy's and tiffany's car, 3 of us went back to the shop to look for wendy.. so we were like looking for her.. tiffany then call me to call wendy.. she was in Skylet.. so we went there.. could not find her because of her h*ight (fill in the * urself), as well as the whole place is like packed lohz..

so we found her.. but then we (huimin, tiffany & me) decide to go one side and talk crap, as the whole place was like congested lohz.. but before tat, i went to show huimin the LATEST keyboard in town!! huimin and i was like wah!! we want to buy.. but its ex manz.. its $59.. anyway, the keyboard is similar to your handphone keypad.. its USB -powered and if dirty, u can wash.. and if talk up too much space, u can roll it.. so yupz.. its exactly like a mat loh!! good huh.. =)

so we like stay in the corner and talk crap for about 1/2 hour lohz.. i tell u.. the things we said, i laugh until i stomach-pain.. well.. shall NOT elaborate.. but even if i elaborate right.. u all like sure say funny meh..

such jokes only ppl like huimin and me would laugh.. huimin, are we getting LAME?? hahaz.. =)

then i was complainting y wendy take so long.. then huimin like shout quite loud of wendy's name lohz.. i tell u.. i was like a bit embarrased at tat moment lohz.. so again, i search the whole Skylet store and she was no where to be found.. so i like joke with huimin say, we shld put a paging system in Sim Lim Square to look for wendy..

anyway, decide to call wendy to ask her where she is.. then i got the shock of my life.. she actually went to other shops to buy a few things.. and then i told her tat we were like fools staying at Skylet waiting for her, thinking tat she was still in Skylet.. haiz..

anyway, after tat, wendy then drove back to HMV, as she wanted to buy sum computer stuffs from PK Computer.. so yupz.. so while she was away, i ask tiffany to play the notting hill's soundtrack on the cd player in her car.. so we decide to use track 2 - I Do (Cherish You) by 98 Degrees for our marriage renewal vows service on 15/2..

so after tat, wendy drove huimin and me and tiffany to my hse for cell group lohz.. before cell group starts, i actually suggested some songs for them to consider.. so they pick the following songs:

* Pachebel - Canon In D (an all-time favourite classical piece)
* Secret Garden - Celebration ( a new-age piece.. but don't sound like one.. its more of scottish-irish style.. got fiddle and all.. it sound like a very grand marriage song.. )

then got cell group.. then ate dinner.. tonite, my mum cook the following foods for dinner:

* Mee Siam (yum..yum..)
* Dessert: Gingko Nut with beancurd skin and beaten egg (a cantonese dessert.. they call it "foo chok ba kor yi mai")

well.. then after cell group, bathe and now doing this blog update lohz.. even though it is long, but hope u had as much fun reading it as i had as much fun writing it..

today is quite an okay day for me..

well.. the day started with PDM tutorial lohz.. quite boring.. then nxt is the health & wellness tutorial.. i did a survey which to find out my risk for heart disease.. i did fairly well.. at a point, i had to do a "dying to be thin questionnaire".. my results is 58. and to intepret the score, it is as follows:

"Weight-conscious. May or may not have tendencies towards an eating disorder. Not likely to have anorexia or bulimia nervosa. May have tendencies toward compulsive eating or obesity."

well.. somehow, i think tat i'm ok.. =)

then after tat, felt so happy, becos' i actually finish class for the whole day.. however, we cannot go home yet (at least for me, junting and limei).. becos' we have to do the Firmenich tabulation thing.. so yupz.. tired but still have to do.. haiz.. wat to do?? my gosh..

anyway, do it until like 5.30pm in the afternoon lohz.. then went home.. by the time i reach home, it is like about 6.30pm liaoz.. so i bathe, ate dinner, watch TV and do this blog lohz..

after this, i have to do back my school homework, becos' its either i do today or during wkend.. anyway, can't do much tml, becos' i going to meet wendy and a few others for chuch camp publicity meeting.. so tat's y.. will update u more on the mtg tml.. so wait for it ya?? =)

anyway, yesterday slept at like 1am and woke up 6am this morning for an 8am lecture.. when i reached school, i was like half-dead lohz.. so tired and sleepy..

then cont. my health & wellness lecture whereby my lecturer taught on the topic of diabetes.. it was not too bad actually..

then came my practical session of PDM (product development & marketing).. i tell u.. its like disatrous lohz.. so tired and at the same time, still have to continue on.. haiz.. then when i talk to the head of this subject, i then realised my group made a lot of mistakes.. my gosh!! dun koe how we going to cont. on at this rate.. haiz..

but my practical lecturer (NOT the head) commended on my logbk.. so not so bad.. quite happy.. at least tat's a consolation..

then after tat, went to eat lunch with my usual clique except Limei, coz' she on MC.. so i ate Muslim Rice at Design Canteen.. shiok manz..

then after tat, regine and yanyan had to do ice-cream, while junting and i went to library and do our FYP logbk.. so else, my FYP supervisor will nag.. so yupz.. manage to finish it lohz..

then went for 2 consecutive lectures.. my gosh!! the lecturers talk like they catch a train or sumthing lohz.. talk so fast.. dun even give us time to write wat they haiz..

u thought tat was worst?? this is even worse.. we had a PDM lecture and its the head of the subject teaching.. she talk and talk and talk, and she told us stories.. so we dun koe whether its an example or wat.. but the problem is we cannot summarise wat she said, so we like write in a long way lohz.. and before we could write finish, she has gone to the nxt pt.. and the cycle continues again.. my gosh! like tat how to understand the subject?? haiz.. =(

then after tat, came home and during my bus journey, i read thru' wat the PDM lecturer taught today lohz.. and then i finally understand.. haiz..

then reach home, bathe and now do this short(?!?) blog update before i continue on my work.. haiz.. its work, work and more work!! arrgghhh!!

Happening Day Manz!!

today whole day do my FYP.. eat bread until scared lohz.. then for lunch, ate with my usual clique at business canteen.. ate horfun.. been craving it for quite long liaoz.. ate it today, so not too bad.. =)

then after lunch, limei went home, as she was feeling well.. junting and i cont. to do our Firmenich lychee beverage results tabulation.. i was like a bit tired.. i almost slept while counting manz.. it was tat boring!!

junting on the other hand, dun koe wat happen to her.. she like everything can't do well lohz.. its not she count wrongly, its missing 1 piece.. haiyoh.. i think she gone berserk liaoz..

anyway, did the tabulation of results until about 5.15pm.. then rush to design canteen to attend crusade mtg.. well.. this is one thing tat i DUN regret going manz..

it was a GREAT time mtg with fellow crusaders in TP... got to know a new friend called Caleb.. a good friend of Paul (whom i koe thru' Meta).. we were like guys talking crap and all lohz.. hahaz.. but when it comes to serious stuff, we were like serious..

oh oh.. another thing which encourages us at the crusade mtg today.. one lecturer from Law & Management actually joined us.. and he too is actually a christian.. Michael (one of the crusade members) met him last wk, as this lecturer was curious as to wat we are doing.. so Michael is like talk to him and stuff and he was interested.. so the lecturer joined us this wk.. this is very encouraging hor.. =)

Marcus and Hansheng (huimin's grandsons) were also there.. and guess wat! Marcus was also the joker manz.. he does quite a lot of stupid things lahz.. but was funny.. so it was ok..

well.. while still at design canteen, juliana came and pass me the Gen12ii t-shirt.. Marcus was like say he also want.. but juliana tell him to sign up for Gen12ii lohz.. he was like saying cannot, becos' he's waiting for army letter..

then i answer him tat i also wat.. then he start telling me its a dangerous period and all, becos' i may be called up anytime during june if i get chosen.. i tell u.. i got worried manz.. this morning, i prayed to God tat i hope my army enlistment would be in august.. and i actually doubted Him.. and even now as i write this blog update, i am beginning to have doubts manz.. so anyway, muz learn how to practice more faith! pray for me in this area yaz?? thanx.. =)

apparently, my mission trip with ForeRunners (if i have passed and being chosen for the audition) would end like 19/6.. so i told marcus about it, and thank goodness.. he said its quite safe.. so ok.. i take it as that..

so during the crusade mtg, we have a time of worship.. and i thoroughly enjoyed the worship session.. then juliana shared about an article on prayer.. have actually found out a few weaknesses of mine thru' prayer.. wat actually impacted me most are the qns she has posed us to discuss and pray for each other.. in a nutshell, the following are summary points:

* We always take prayer as a way to ask God wat we want.. but this shld NOT be so.. it shld be like talking to a friend, and NOT only in a time of need..

* What are some things tat we kept on asking God and never see Him fufill our desires?
So the thing tat impacted me abt. this qn is that, this always happen to me, but i did NOT consider whether its God's Will for me.

* What are some priorites that we have placed in our lives, instead of placing God FIRST place in our lives??
Well.. i think of this as there are actually many priorites that i placed before God.. its like probably email too much or sumthing like tat.. so in this case, i shld try to 'balance' my time with play as well as God..

* How close are you to your earthly fathers and how would u relate it to our heavenly Father?
this qn has actually never pop into my mind b4.. but during this mtg, i actually had time to reflect on these issues..

so yupz.. those were the pts.. they are very reflective and effective huh.. =)

anyway, the mtg ended about 7pm.. i went home to have my dinner, while some of them went for dinner...

so when i alighted at my house bus-stop, i will alight and have about a 5-10mins to my house.. i 'cut' thru' the exective blocks void decks.. during this walking, there is a breeze as well as so-called park lohz.. as i was walking and listening to my radio (International Channel 96.3FM-- at tat time, they were playing jazz pieces.. so it somehow creates the mood lohz..), i actually ponder upon those thoughts tat were being discussed during the crusade mtg lohz.. can't believe it.. it was tat reflective! never in my life, i had such things juz kept 'ringing' in my head.. =)

hi.. time for update..

today dun koe y the whole day i feel so sleepy.. it could be becos' i slept too much during the LONG weekend.. ha..

anyway, first class of the day is the communication skills lesson.. the lesson was all right.. today's lesson was on how to write cover letters as well as resumes.. learnt quite a lot actually.. =)

then did ice-cream in my food processing practical.. my gosh.. change practical lecturer and this lecturer so troublesome lohz!

last wk, my lecturer say tat dun need to type his report.. this lecturer today i had during my practical is like "i want the report to be type-written!".. no choice.. have to do..

also since my group today is responsible for duty to clean the lab, 3 of my group members (including me) had to clean the homogenizing machine lohz.. believe it.. tat stupid homogenizing machine cleaning before ppl use it, and after ppl use it, uses 60 litres of both hot and cold water! we are doing a clean-in-place (CIP) type of cleaning (ie to say the machine cannot be dismantled to be wash, so the only way is to like use water and clean it lohz.. we clean until like so fed up.. moreover, we still have to clean the ice-cream machine lohz.. haiz.. so tired of cleaning.. haiz.. =(

then after tat, went to NTUC @ Tampines Mall to buy some ingredients for our self-training tml.. that is the same old mantou, bread, etc.. haiz.. sianz ah.. but still enjoy to eat mantou though..

then went back home and took bus 22.. as usual, i slept in the bus.. then came home, bathe and do my blog update.. as usual, not 1 day i would not have any homework, so have to do some research on the net for my product development and marketing subject (my carbonated tea).. so yupz.. try to finish the research tonite..

well.. gtg and cont. my research liaoz.. anyway, will be attending my FIRST ever crusade meeting tml at school.. well.. juz hope its a good one! =)

ok.. so here is my daily blog update..

well.. today stayed at home the whole day and practically do quite a lot of stuff..

the day started off as usual, my QT and stuff.. then ate a MacDonald's breakfast which my mum has bought for me.. yummy yum! ate a egg sausage Mcmuffin, an apple pie, a small cup of orange juice, and a cup of Lipton Tea.. well.. all these for only $3.45.. my mum got Mac coupon from The Straits Times papers mahz.. =)

then after tat, read the classified part of the newspaper to look for job advert tat is related to my course.. my gosh!! so hard to find.. i only manage to find 1 !! lecturer actually call us to find 3 but its like 2 wks loh.. and so far, only 1 is really related.. others like F&B manager not very realted.. its more related to the hospitality diploma.. yupz.. btw, this is for my comunication skills subject...

anyway, after tat, start to choose my worship songs lohz.. i tell u.. i did this half-a-day!! this is becos' i have to choose the songs, and as well, has to transpose down the chords to fit certain songs, as well as change the chords.. so its like this changing of chords thing takes up like 90% of my songs lohz.. so i spend most of my time chnaging and transposing down the chords.. haiz.. finally done it and send to my worship team members, before i wrote this blog..

speaking of which, wat do u think of my NEW blog music?? something refreshing?? got tat kind of chillout feeling right?? see.. told ya its good.. so kor, muz learn how to appreciate such songs... this is not very sleepy wat.. hahaz..

allo.. update time..

well.. yesterday nite slept at 2.30am and woke up like 7.30am for church.. was really sleepy lohz..

anyway, the reason y i slept so late is becos' when i was about to off the computer and go to sleep (which is at about 11pm), i remembered tat today service, i was suppose to do a special item with huimin.. so yupz.. stayed up late and do the ppt lohz.. so after i finish tat song, i was like think i should do another song of the ppt which huimin and me going to sing during Valentine's Day service on 15/2/04.. so therefore i decide to do the ppt for tat lohz.. i was like do halfway, then fell asleep in front of the com lohz.. i was tat tired!

anyway, in the morning, went to church.. huimin led worship.. love the part of "My Redeemer Lives".. it has tat kind of hari raya feel becos' of the intro lohz.. and at a certain part, there is this part on we stop singing, and then we cont.. feel tat was a twist to the song!! so yupz.. High praise was also good today during huimin's worship.. Huimin, keep it up ya!! Good job!

then came the sermon part.. my pastor has talk about how some of the CNY (Chinese New Year) traditions has link to the olden times of the Passover of the Lamb in Exodus 12. it was definately very interesting! Well.. can see on ur faces tat u want to koe more.. so anyway, here it is:

* Chinese ppl eat nian gao during CNY (Nian gao is made up of rice flour but WITHOUT yeast -- unleavened) :

Similiar to Exodus 12:15-17:

"For seven days you are to eat bread made without yeast. On the first day remove the yeast from your houses, for whoever eats anything with yeast in it from the first day through the seventh must be cut off from Israel.
On the first day hold a sacred assembly, and another one on the seventh day. Do no work at all on these days, except to prepare food for everyone to eat-that is all you may do.
"Celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread, because it was on this very day that I brought your divisions out of Egypt. Celebrate this day as a lasting ordinance for the generations to come."

* In China, chinese ppl eat Mustard Greens which is somewhat of bitter herbs.

Similiar to Exodus 12:8:

"That same night they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire, along with bitter herbs, and bread made without yeast. "

* During CNY, chinese ppl have family reunion dinner.

Similiar to Exodus 12:22

".....Not one of you shall go out the door of his house until morning."

* For those non-believers, during CNY, they would always put a red cloth or paste red papers on their frame of their main door. They believe this would frighten off the nian2 (which is the monster).

well.. interesting huh.. so now, guess u are as enlightened as me yaz?? =)

then after service, went to PS for lunch, becos nite time got meeting at church office and it is at Parklane Shopping Centre.. so anyway, went to PS food court and guess wat! Yupz.. u guessed it correct! I ate the good old Yong Tau Foo lohz.. guess it right.. n guess wat i ate for dessert!! well.. the good, old and refreshing Cheng Tng.. feel so happy tat i ate my favourite food.. =)

huimin went home to change after service, becos' she has to go sumwhere after the camp mtg.. so by the time she came, we was like almost finish liaoz lohz.. but anyway, juz continue to sit lohz.. dun care.. then we were like so-called make a bet tat huimin wld eat yong tau foo (becos' her usual food at food court is yong tau foo!! so tat's y i got influenced by her lohz.. well.. tat's now my fave food at food courts.. am i weird or wat!!).. so she like purposely prove us wrong!! she ate dumpling noodles soup instead.. haiz.. =(

anyway, after tat, all of us split up.. some went to do shopping.. huimin and i went to spotlight to find some of the materials to decorate the church during the valentine day service on 15/2/04..

then dun koe how come huimin say he (refers to my kor, Derek) is coming to meet her.. i was like quite shocked lohz at tat moment..

anyway, after about 15 mins, my kor called huimin and huimin was like go out and find him lohz.. so i was like looking around for wat things to buy summore.. then i was at the section (forgot which one liaoz).. n juz happen when i turn back, both of them (my kor and huimin) were like appeared behind me lohz!! my gosh.. i almost got the shock of my life ok.. Huimin and Kor, read this!! I ALMOST GOT THE SHOCK OF MY LIFE OK!! U BOTH GAVE ME A SHOCK!! FORTUNATELY, I'M YOUNG, OR ELSE, I WOULD COLLAPSED IN FRONT OF YOU MANZ!!

anyway, then huimin and kor was like walking with me to find out things tat i need lohz.. they hold hands somemore!.. wah... really at tat pt, i feel really very embarassed lohz.. playing gooseberry.. just thru'out the whole time they were together.. i really dun koe where to put my face manz.. serious.. both of them are making me nervous and embarassed lohz..

so anyway, i put up a brave front, and began to feel like nothing happen!! my gosh.. juz can't believe tat this is happening!!

anyway, seeing kor today was one of the best things tat happen to me today.. didn't c him for a long time.. so yupz.. =)

when almost we were about to go, wendy called and said she has finish shopping.. so they say they are at Starbucks coffee.. so its like 20mins before our mtg time, i went to Starbucks, while leaving the 2 lovebirds alone.. huimin went to PS Carrefour and buy a drink.. my kor of course followed lahz.. me, being embarassed enuf, decide not to join them and go to Starbucks and join wendy and they all..

then huimin mother came to Starbucks.. she happen to came out from carrefour, so i ask whether she has brought seen the 2 lovebirds.. she of course said no!! so anyway, i then ask huimin's mum whether she has seen my kor b4.. she again said no!!

then about 10 mins later, huimin and kor came to Starbucks to join us.. i was like quite shocked lohz.. so kor is like the FIRST time met huimin's mum.. so its like meet the parents..

not only did kor met huimin's mum, he also met, my dad, wendy, tiffany and carlise.. i introduce wendy to kor, and kor to wendy.. so yupz.. but kor kept very quiet today.. dun koe y.. usually he very chatty one.. but i think he just first time met them.. so not very familiar with the group probably..

i then told him is tat this is almost the FULL worship team in church lohz.. he was like a bit shocked lohz.. but not very obvious lohz..

then after tat, we left and i sat in wendy car.. while huimin sat in carlise car.. kor took mrt from PS, but dun koe where he is going.. so yupz.. =)

then went for the church camp mtg at church office lohz from 5pm-7pm.. was actually brain-dead thru'out the mtg lohz.. i'm very tired manz.. =).. so anyway, i'm in charge of publicity, so wendy is like in charge of me.. so wendy, me and probably 2 other members from OCC are mtg personally this sat (7/2) lohz.. =)

then after mtg, came home and ate dinner and now on my com doing my blog for today..

well.. need to choose the songs for my worship leading this sun (8/2) at church tml.. no time liaoz! *frown*
